  1. I wonder if Zoe crashes and burns before the mid finale or not. Or maybe Frankie takes the heat for acting just like Zoe.

    2. Crash n burn? more like nuclear explosion. Frankie wont take the heat. she’s like the underdog & everyone loves the underdog. but its clear to see Chewie is the blackmailer. did she completely forget that the dolls voice is a frickin guy? she needs to get laid the hell out. I do hope they get that taped confession. they need to tape all their talks with her. & how is she smart enough to

create a site? based on the way it was made why would anyone believe someone created a app to make $ from girls only to send their pics to the entire school? that would be the worlds dumbest criminal. but Zoe wont win. in the end of the F2 2nd plot Frankie’s & Chewie’s plan will be complete an Zoe is out the door *grabs her like Uncle Phil & throws her out*

if we do see them compete it will be without Zoe. an Miles needs to just shut the hell up. an the dad is once again beyond mad. at least he didn’t yell like he did before. I guess he gives her the “this is your responsibility” talk. that’s better than yelling. but Hunter knows its Zoe. I hope at the end of this we see something just as epic as before.. I’m not even looking at the Clare stuff.

I stopped caring after her spotting thing. I put ALL Clare stuff on mute. I’m pretty sure Zoe is Hydra after seeing what she can do. just wait till Sim gets her at the end of the F2 2nd plot. I will tape her going down. sad she didn’t even complete a FULL school year an she fucked up. I guess she will get used to being a high school drop out in 14B. 5’4 of pure evil!

  2. WFT is Simpson in that Clare thing? I didn’t see any other man with her so what is he supposed to do? come to her apartment for a visit? that baby would be better off raised by wolves than Clare alone. I believe Frankie can get through this & win. but if she’s trying to get the girls to make Zoe confess than someone needs to record it. so far we’ve seen 2 scenes in her house &

2 scenes of her & the girls in school. man I hope we see the girls leave Zoe. I was right about things like this happening. people should listen to geeks.. we do more than fix your computer & teach you how to use your phone.

    1. Isn’t that Becky’s uber Christian mom who says the nasty comment? Totally unjustified! I hope Clare responds with something snarky like: “I’m not sure how my personal life pertains to the discussion of leadership activities for women at Degrassi, but yes, I will be raising my baby while attending Columbia, and thank you for your concern.”

  4. Was Frankie’s dad telling her to claim responsibility of the entire boob pic situation? I can’t figure that out. Is Zoe paying him to get herself out of trouble by blaming Frankie? I don’t understand that part.

    1. I think Frankie’s dad was demanding she take the blame for the entire operation — maybe Zoe convinces the cheer squad to turn on Frankie instead of the other way around, so they can win finals with Zoe. With witnesses pointing to Frankie, her dad is trying to force her to come out publicly and accept blame for everything and apologize profusely to the press so as not to jeopardize his campaign. All he cares about is winning the election, not the consequences for his kids. That’s my guess!

  5. I’ve really got 3 people in mind for the black mailer. Hunters gf , chewie, or grace . Hunters girlfriend already made it known that she has hatred for the cheerleaders just like Hunter and she said “they’ll get what’s coming to them. “Everyone keeps saying ,oh it was a guys voice on the dolls – but it’s really easy to a computer generate a voice/mask your own. also was really believable that she would be over at the Hollingsworth’s. Chewie has a saving Frankie complex and it’s possible that he found out and is black mailing the girls – he is relatively tech smart and has enough motive and would definitely be at the Hollingsworth residence. The last ones kind of a longshot – grace. She could be lying about where the signal came from rerouting it off at their house tower I mean why else would they bring up her being a lesbian NOW ? Possibly why she wanted to help them run a nude sight for her own personal spank bank ? Lol I dunno maybe she’s got secret beef with Zoe…she’s the only one I know of being the technology savvy😬 honestly this blocked numbers blackmail Jazz is making this feel like pretty little liars 😂

  6. I hope Simpson talks Clare into going to Columbia and convinces her that she can have it all, since his eventual wife (on the original Degrassi in the 80’s) gave up her dreams of college to have Emma. I think it’s a good message for today’s teens. For all the old school Degrassi fans, I loved when that same Emma let Manny and Craig babysit Principal (Teacher at the time) Simpson and Spike’s son Jack, where Manny realized she wasn’t ready for parenthood and ultimately had an abortion (and then fans in the US waited 3 long years to see those eps… Still bitter). I wish Spike and Simpson had another baby, and Connor had Clare over to practice, just as homage to that scene. Clare would obviously be way better with the baby than Manny — but hey, manny became a Hollywood actress, so it all worked out :)

    1. That would be ridiculously unrealistic. Columbia is a demanding Ivy League school. Even the annoying Mary Sue can’t handle that and a baby. Of course, she’s probably going to lost the baby anyways. They won’t send her off pregnant.

      ” I think it’s a good message for today’s teens.”

It’s a terrible message. Something like that might even cause girls to go out and purposely get pregnant.

      1. I definitely see your points, though I have known girls that did raise children while attending Ivy League schools (and having graduated from one of these schools myself, I understand the workload). You’re right, without a partner nearby and financial support from parents it’s near impossible — I guess I just figured Eli would be in NYC with Clare and her parents would hopefully assist financially. But you’re right, that might make it seem too easy. College graduates have much higher lifetime earnings, and studies have shown that getting teen moms to graduate from college dramatically reduces the risk of more unplanned pregnancies and future poverty. In fact, it’s been shown that the best approach is to give teen moms something to aspire to, since that leads to better decision-making, happier moms, and thus happier kids that are less likely to repeat the cycle of teen parenthood. So I don’t think the solution is to show a character that has to give up all her dreams, because parenthood is not a death sentence.

      2. I think you’re right about the miscarriage, but do you think it’ll be too much of a deus ex machina, with the whole baby issue a moot point so Clare can go off to Columbia unimpeded? I’d like to see a miscarriage storyline but I’m not sure about it happening to Clare. Thoughts?

Clare’s choice isn’t Columbia or no college, it’s Columbia, vs. a university in the Toronto area, the latter being a wiser choice for the overall well-being of her child. While parenthood isn’t a death sentence, you also have to make compromises and personal sacrifices for your child.

So while college doesn’t have to be off the table,Columbia and NYC would be if we’re realistic. Her and Eli would both be going to very rigorous and demanding schools with no family or support system outside of their peers, who are also busy college students. And as you probably know having gone to college, schedules are crazy and not conducive to raising a kid and being full-time. You can have classes going into the evenings and if you want to land a job or go on to grad school, you need to participate in student groups and take on projects and internships to pad your resume with experience. Then if you have to work to help support yourself too; childless students have a hard time juggling everything in college. And then when the kid gets sick and can’t go to daycare…

And that leads to another issue: how does Clare think she and Eli are going to raise a kid and afford to live in New York when they both go to expensive schools where tuition alone is $50,000+ per year? How are they paying for food, rent and utilities? How are they going to pay for the daycare they are going to need (which is EXPENSIVE)? What the show also hasn’t factored in too is that since they aren’t U.S. Citizens they wouldn’t get any Federal Aid and any institutional need-based aid would not prioritize international students. These schools also don’t really offer merit-based aid (but the writers probably won’t pay any attention to that and would just say whatever to make all of these kids going to expensive U.S. schools plausible). Basically I don’t know how they think they’ll have the money and time to live out their New York dreams with a baby in tow. Their relationship would probably fall apart not even a full semester in.

All the stress and debt they’d collect for trying to have it all wouldn’t be worth it. But it’s probably going to be a moot point because I feel we are leading up to a tragic turn for Clare’s pregnancy. I’ve watched enough soaps to recognize all of the tropes to see where this is going.

I didn’t want Clare to end up pregnant in the first place, because she already gets too much screentime, but losing a baby hasn’t been done yet. Plus, I don’t want this baby to be the new Emma type of a potential next next generation show. If anybody deserves that role, it’s JT and Liberty;s baby.

    2. Also, I disagree that Clare would be better with the baby than Manny. I can see Manny having more of a maternal instinct than Clare. Book smarts don’t equal being a good mom.

      1. Yeah I think I meant more than Manny was a lot younger, 14 vs. 18 when she got pregnant, and Manny’s reaction was I want to be a cheerleader and a fashion designer, and then later wanted to be an actress, and starting out in the acting world with a young kid would be tough (though to be fair probably just as hard to be a young journalist like Clare). No doubt Manny would make a great mom someday (hopefully not with Jay though…) and way less strict than her parents! And yes, probably more if a maternal instinct, but I think Clare at 18 may have more maturity and be more equipped to financially support a kid. Manny would have the cutest kids imaginable — would love to see that :)
