Alright so… Wow. Pretty well-rounded cast we’ve got here now. Though some people might complain about all these recurring characters being made regulars and these completely new kids being introduced, the fact of the matter is, the cast needs new people right now. We’re about to lose a crapload of characters when the seniors depart, and it’s wise to begin balancing out the cast now so that there’s a somewhat more breezy transition from Season 14 to Season 15, rather than waiting until Season 15 and just dropping a shitload of people in all at once. With that being said, I think it’s pretty certain that there will be more new kids in Season 15, but it’s good that they’re only bringing a handful of them at the moment. It’s a wise choice. This is all so exciting. There’s a certain freshness to the show.

Since Arlene isn’t in the pictures, I’m just going to go ahead and assume that she’s recurring for the time being, but of course would likely become a regular character in Season 15.
Aw, I’m guessing that Shay has a crush on Hunter. It’ll be interesting to see how things unfold on that front. This indicates there’ll be some follow-up as to Hunter’s psyche following his outburst in My Hero.
I think… Some sort of… Situation… Might take place… Between Maya and Tiny o.o Good or bad, idk.
I saw the episode description for the season premiere, and I think it’s exciting that they seem to be going back to focusing primarily on the issues. Like I’ve said before, Season 13 was not my favorite viewing experience at many points, but I’m keeping an open mind when it comes to Season 14, and so far I really do like what I’m seeing on all fronts. It’s like, when it comes to the whole “too much relationship drama” thing, when it comes to me personally, I’m not against it at all. Romance is a big part of high school, there’s no doubt about it. Not everyone dates various people and some people actually do stay single throughout their entire high school experience, but there are definitely a lot of people that do date and/or have sex, so it’s something that should definitely be incorporated, but my thing has always been that they should focus on the relationship drama in a way that it’s not the primary focus… Like, the plots are mainly centered around issues that actually matter, but peoples’ relationships still play into what each person in them is going through individually. I don’t know if I’m making sense but, for example, Season 12 I believe had a great balance when it came to this particular issue.
Jonah is the only junior… We could draw to one of these conclusions… Either he’s only going to be a temporary, one-season character of some sort because he somehow has a storyline that only entails a temporary stay – I’m not saying he would commit suicide or anything like that, that would just be ridiculous, considering… Yeah… But there could be other plot points that would entail such; perhaps he will fail his junior year and they’ve already decided on that prior to writing him into the show; or Jack is going to be held back and she and Jonah will interact heavily with the soon-to-be-juniors (Maya and co.) in Season 15. I don’t know, just a guess, considering she and Jonah are sitting next to each other in the cast picture that was most recently released. All I’ll say on that matter is that I wouldn’t mind Jack staying behind since she’s basically new, but I swear, EVERY other senior had better fucking leave -_-

Niamh Wilson actually stated that Jack Jones is not a senior but a junior. so no Jonah isn’t the only junior.

So do I, though admittedly, at this point, I really am just over it. I hated them as a pairing when they were introduced way back when, but I really did grow to love them and Season 13 just honestly killed it all for me. I really don’t care what happens between them at this point. The writers either need to put them back together and have them STAY together and be done with it, or just let Eli and Clare move on from each other and part as friends. This back and forth is ridic.

I FCKIN HATE JACKS EXISTENCE!!! I NEVER hated a character EVER!!!! I only hate her cuz the only reason shes on the show is to be imogens girlfriend!!!! THATS IT!!!! and they made a WHOLE plot of just claire making friends with jack JUST so they could justify her character. its so stupid!!!! pisses me off!!

That’s nothing new. The only reason Kelly was on the show was to be Emma’s boyfriend. The only reason Blue was on the show was to be Holly J.’s boyfriend. Damian’s entire reason for existing was to be a love interest for three different characters in a single season. And these are just the people who were billed as regulars.

yeah i know bro. i also DESPISED zane. but i thought BY NOW degrassi would grow up a little more and mature. not everyone needs to be paired off. its TERRIBLE for the show either way cuz we are getting relationship plots from only 1 side of the story. GROW UP DEGRASSI PLEASEEEEEEEE

Hunter has an awesome bone structure and nice eyes. The girl with the pink her have very interesting eyes the are almost alien like, she kind of looks like ariana grande

Oh God. The photo of Clare in between Drew and Eli looks like its been recycled from Season 11, only instead of drew it was jake. Ugh.

After seeing these newer pics of Eclare & Clew… It makes me wonder if Clare is in love with both guys.. That new one of Clew holding each other holding hands threw me off.. Keep in mind I don’t ship either of them but now I’m more confused…
And I am loving the Bhandallas pics they are so adorable.
