I posted this in the “Thunderstruck” review, but I bet that this is what will happen:
Eli and Drew get into a fight and while Clare is pleading for them to stop, she suddenly stops and looks down and notices a pool of blood spreading beneath her. I can easily see the writers choosing this cliché path. And of course then we’ll have to deal with more angsty Clare, not to mention Eli and Drew fawning all over her. Enough is enough already, writers.

I mean nobody on the show who was pregnant ever had one so I figure they’ll end up doing something different this time..i hope not tho..I really really want clew to happen!! I liked them together, they barely gave it a chance!..plus I like Becky but her and drew together are just ewww..idk lol they just look right..anyways I really hope the writers are using this to help get clare n drew back together…let’s make clew happen finally, once n for all please!!!!

i agree, clew was interesting. There was a slow build about it all season, but then they canned it and out of nowhere they put drew and becky together. Because… both had troubles with their brothers?

I could completely understand Becky and Drew hooking up briefly due to their share grief of Adam but not a season later with Drew pursing Clare, even trying to find ways to get over her or downplay his feelings, and not showing one ounce of romantic feelings for Becky. Some fans may think Clew came out of nowhere, and completely ignoring the buildup of their friendship and positive effects they had on each other, but Becky and Drew seemed more like the “came out of left field”. I’m just bored to death with Eli still being around, a character fully fleshed out and had several good story lines, whereas other less developed characters were booted off. I could understand Jake or Katie sticking around because they have siblings attending Degrassi and the former had no real big storylines outside of the eclare/cake drama. Eli’s presence is unnecessary at this point, he’s not even a student at Degrassi, and he’s just a pairing/romance fodder.

Actually in the original series in 1980’s spike had a baby and kept it. I think that it’s Eli’s though. Just because Drew was the last person she was with doesn’t mean it’s his. I mean how far along is she any way. Besides all that I think Eli will love her no matter what.

My predictions thus far:
It looks as if Drew is wearing the same outfit when he’s kissing Becky and when he’s saying his line (same jacket at least) so what I think is either Eli or Clare see him kissing Becky and confront him about it. It could most likely be Eli (maybe it’s school break and he’s back home; Clare tells him that she is pregnant), he sees Drew and asks him why is he kissing another girl when Clare could be pregnant with his child (why aren’t you being there for her, etc) and Drew tells him it’s a messed up situation (because Clare may not know 100% if the baby is Drew’s or Eli’s, etc). Or Clare could be confronting Drew herself about it (even thought the hair looks too light to be hers). Also I think Drew may have had something to do with Becky wearing crutches so I think the huge card he’s holding is for her as a way to tell her he’s sorry. I am just going on that promo so I may be wrong.

Actually there have been girls that have gotten pregnant in the show. For example there was one just like 3 seasons ago. and I have been watching degrassi for years since like 2000, when the parents went to degrassi. And plenty have been pregnant some kept them and some gave them up for adoption. But dang sucks that it’s drews baby:/ I would have been excited if it was Eli’s baby:) but we will see what happens:) when does the new season start.?

I really hope it is Drews baby and him and clare get back together. They are so cute together. The new season starts on October 8 2014. I mean I really like Eli buy when him and clare are together it’s so much drama one minute and love the next. I think clare will carry the baby to full term. But like I said I hope it turns out good for drew and clare. Drew with Becky just doesn’t seem right. It seems weird.

There’s no way that she’s carrying the baby to full term. It’s too late in the school year for that and the seniors already had their last day on set. I smell a miscarriage.

How? They aren’t being followed after high school. It’s already spring on the show and Clare is probably no more than eight weeks along. Unless this is some sort of magic baby, Clare most likely won’t be carrying to term.

I honestly feel eclare is more dramatic than clew. It feels like they’re either breaking up then getting back together or having some misunderstanding/poor communication skills. Eli’s mini series is kind of following him post Degrassi, not the same way as in the past, but really he’s becoming more of a pairing fodder since he’s not a student and is only there for romantic (especially love triangle) drama. As much as I like Clare, she’s a very dramatic young woman and her relationships have their own set of drama (as expected for a TV show).

What if Clare’s baby is stillborn, not miscarried? The black baby carriage in the promo suggests one or the other.
