Wow I love clare an all but she is going way OVER BOARD with this whole drew thing…and drew is the one that pretty. Uh got dumped on!..even (retired) boy crazy alli is like like wtf!! Lol

i do think Clare’s kind of overreacting. She’s the one that pursued Drew, not the other way around. Now she’s acting like he was obligated to be with her.

Didn’t Clare and Drew have sex though? If they’d just made out then I’d say she’s overreacting. However, they slept together and then Drew rejected her almost immediately afterward. She’s bitter because she feels like she was used for sex.

It’s still overreacting. It’s alright to be upset if you feel someone has used you in that way, but you only make things worse and more complicated by continuing to participate in emotional manipulation, which is clearly what Clare’s lie detector is. Besides, I thought the only reason Drew rejected Clare was because he didn’t want to be her rebound and in a way she kind of used him so she wouldn’t feel so lonely and sad about her relationship with Eli.

That’s a miscue on my part. I was saying she isn’t overreacting because I thought people were wondering why she would be so upset with Drew in the first place. Her just being upset isn’t her overreacting, but I wasn’t even thinking about the lie detector part because it’s a given that she’s most definitely taking it too far in her quest for “revenge.”
The reason Drew dumped Clare is absolutely valid, but I also meant to point out that it doesn’t matter in the eyes of the dumped. If you dump someone right after you’ve slept with them for the first time, they’re going to feel like they were used regardless of the reason.
