Okay, if Miles really, really wants to lose Maya – he’s walking the right way to do it, the idiot. This is kind of what I was talking about a few weeks ago – Miles is Mr. Revenge. He can’t just let things go or be the bigger man. Yes – Zig and Tiny beat the snot out of him, obviously – but what he’s about to do is so much worse, even if the gun is a fake. And the behavior of both Zig and Miles continues to make me believe that Maya is going to end up alone – cause if I was her – I wouldn’t choose either of the guys at this point, based solely on their behavior.

Part of me wanted Clare and Eli to work out SO badly. I feel like Eli cheating on Clare was so out of character, but I guess we all have those moments where we stop thinking about our actions and just start acting them out. It sucks how much their characters drifted apart because they had such a strong chemistry; for me they are one of the most believable couples Degrassi has produced. I loved watching their relationship grow; from the moment Eli drove over her glasses, to the night when Clare lost her virginity to Eli (although I like to think they lost their virginity to one another since we never find out Eli’s virginity status.) Just goes to show, sex is the imminent doom for a relationship on Degrassi. RIP Eclare. </3

Maya should end up alone- her behavior causing a bunch of problems. Maya has become so damn stupid. The way she’s treating Miles is just ludicrous. It’s simply unreasonable to expect someone you care about to put up with her kind of shit. It’s really unfair to expect Miles to be “the bigger man” when Zig has a habit of ruthlessly instigating people.
I’m sick of Eli showing up every time there’s a chance for Clew to progress. This will be the third time now that the guy whose main issue is never being around is going to suddenly pop up when Clew could be busy getting down.
Zig is an ass. Eli is an ass. Maya is a dumbass. Zoe is trying to give herself PTSD or something. I don’t know, everyone on this show seems crazy right now.

You hit the nail right on the head here. I think what these episodes are really driving home is that when a relationship/boys are causing you more harm than good, you’re probably better off dealing with your own issues and needs. Maya clearly needs time to herself if she can’t sort out her feelings for Zig and Miles; she needs to knock it off with these dumbs mind games. Clare needs to dump Eli’s cheating ass and go masturbate and relieve her sexual frustration before she hops on over to Drew.

I still think Lenore is living with him. There is no hate on Lenore but I can see that they may become endgame. I am not an Eclare or Eli fan. However, why is everybody ignoring the fact that Drew is a much worse cheater? Why does everybody assume that Clare will be the girl to make him change his ways? What does she have that Bianca, Katie, and Alli didn’t? I know that the writers think that Clare is amazing, but come on now. Why do people condemn Eli for cheating, yet want Clare to be with a guy who cheated on three different girls?

I honestly think Drew is done with Cheating and people do change. When he and Bianca were finally strong and pushed the past behind them he did not cheat on her. To me that a big step. As for Zoe that’s was dumb on his part I don’t think he even knew she was 15.. Laws are different in Canada than the States. ???? I think Clare needs to drop both guys just like Maya and figure out what she really want. BTW how do we knot know if Eli is still cheating with Lenore. Stohn & Stefan said she’s still very relevant. There’s two sides of the story right now we only have Clare’s. We have to wait for part 2 to figure stuff out. Also Clare is still bottling feelings. BTW This is coming from a Drianca and Anti Eclare fan.

Drew changed with Bianca, so I dont think that people think Clare is going to change him. Remember he has grown as a character, and even though he made a huge mistake with Zoe, its still obvious that he is a different guy now.

Well, first off, he DID cheat on Bianca, even if he was drunk at the time. Secondly, Drew changed BECAUSE of Bianca. Bianca was the one girl he truly cared for. Clare is not Bianca. Why are people so quick to assume that he’ll be faithful to her? What special quality does Clare have that will make him stick to being faithful?

I don’t think people are pro-Clew because they think Drew is a better man than Eli… It’s just that Clare and Eli have no chemistry anymore, they have no fun, and Eli already cheated on Clare. If that happens in the beginning of a long distance relationship, forget it- the trust is broken, it’s done. Clare and Drew actually have fun together, so why not try it out? You seem so against serious relationships, but you’re also against fun ones?

@just another, to be quite honest, my main issue is that I’m just sick of the Emma/Clare/Maya types having multiple guys falling for them, despite the fact that they are pretty insufferable and annoying characters. It’s obvious that they’re the writers’ favorites, which is probably why they’re never single. I’d be less annoyed if it was Jenna or Imogen or somebody else instead. Clare has had guys worshipping her nonstop since she became a regular in Season 8 and it really makes her look like a Mary Sue. Why can’t she be single for once?
I have seen plenty of Clew shippers saying that Drew will treat Clare better than Eli.

I really love idea of Clew. I think it will be one of the most lovely story. You know, bad boy and good girl are getting together seems like the ordinary scenario, but in truth it is very sweet and you never tired of it.

What ticks me off the most is watching the promo for the next week. It’s always better than the last and then you realize that you have to wait a week to watch it. All I hope is that all the questions get answered and it does not leave us hanging during the break.

I don’t think Drew would cheat with Clare. I’m not saying that Clare has anything that Bianca, Alli, and Katie don’t have. As someone else mentioned, I too think that Drew has changed, and I feel like the events of Bianca’s role in their relationship has changed him for the better. Bianca helped him grow a lot, ie nominating him for president, encouraging him to come back to degrassi in season 12, getting engaged and then breaking it off. After Bianca called it off with him, I think Drew grew up a LOT and made some changes. I know about Zoe, and I’m not supporting what he did, but he was having a moment, and it’s understandable because everyone goes through that. Believe me, I’m actually not a BIG fan of Drew. I don’t want you guys to think I’m defending him because I think he’s attractive, because that’s not the case with me. I’m just stating how I feel about his character. Does this mean if Clare and Drew get together that Drew WONT cheat on Clare? No, and it’s crazy to think that. But do I think he will? I don’t. Character-wise, who would he cheat on Clare with? Alli? No, we’ve already sailed that boat. Jenna? Unlikely. And there’s really nobody else I could see him cheating on Clare with. This is senior year, possibly his last high school relationship, so why would he even bother cheating? Any thoughts guys? :)

I guess my real problem is that people are saying that Clare deserves better than a cheater, yet they turn around and ship her with a worse cheater. I see some Emma Nelson-level hypocrisy there. Even if Drew doesn’t cheat on Clare, he’ll still always be a cheater, since he did it THREE TIMES before.

I dunno why people are always so confused as to how Clare gets guys. 1) It’s not actually that hard to get a boyfriend; 2) she’s, like, the bustiest girl on the show; 3) guys like the virginal type, and even though she’s been deflowered, she’s still not gonna be viewed as the loose type like Jenna or Alli would be. It’s not about looks. Emma ended up being gorgeous, but I still didn’t understand why so many guys wanted to date her, because she was a heinous person. Personality-wise, Clare is not realistically the type that guys go for. I do wonder if she would attract so many guys if she was an Ellie or Liberty type instead. I know I harp on this a lot, but the fact that she’s the new Emma probably has a lot to do with the amount of guys she attracts, because for some reason, the writers absolutely love that type of character. Maya is following in those footsteps too.

Alli and Clare are best friends and if my best friend was in love with my ex-boyfriend I wouldn’t be so happy about it. sure, people need to move on but does your ex need to be with your BFF? People do change.. Drew before was a 16 hormonal boy who didn’t care unless he got some ass.. After dating Bianca his engagement, His brothers death & break up with Bee changed him. Yes he make a horrible mistake with Zoe, Zoe & Drew are past that. Also Not once did Clare down Drew about it she picked on him that’s about it. Politics & Clare changed that and so did his past.. I love the idea of Clew I hope they do take baby steps, rebounds suck. Another problem fans didn’t pick up that Lenore is Clare’s trigger. Why is Eli still friends with the girls he cheated with?? Does Eli like Lenore more than saying? You never know, Eli may end up being endgame with Lenore.. I think that’s where there going with Eli & Clare.. Falling for other people.

Maybe the writers sometimes just envisions character in a “certain” way, such as having many guys falling for her, and they just stick with that throughout their run on the show. I mean, forgive me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t one of Maya’s first “real” problems on the show involving a guy? Maybe the writers just see potential that we don’t. Perhaps they feel like Maya’s character would be better suited for a love triangle than,let’s say, Jenna. I don’t know why the writers do this sort of stuff to emma, Clare, and maya type characters, but I do definitely think the writers have a reason for it.

There’s definitely a reason for it. I just wish the writers would explain their attraction to that type of character. What elevates them above the rest? Some people might bring up the “good girl” thing, but there have been other nerdy or good girl types outside of those three characters that didn’t have ridiculous amounts of guys falling for them. Just compare the amount of guys interested in Clare to the much smaller amount of guys interested in Darcy.

I’ve hated Miles from the beginning. He may seem like a good guy but he has a lot of problems and I honestly think he’s going to end up going somewhere for therapy. I think Maya really does like Zig. I mean she liked him the first time she met him, but, tori was in the way of that. I really hope they end up together i’ve been wanting it to happen for a long time. And I think there is a reason Zig is bad now, he didn’t use to be like that I hope they answer that question soon. But I think Miles poitning a gun at Zig’s head is going to be the breaking point of Miles and Maya. I hope they don’t get back together. I hope it’s finally time for Zaya to happen!

TBH, I’m a huge Eclare shipper. I understand that they’ve had ups and downs in their relationship, but think of their history together. It’s a truly lovely story if you think about it. They have so much going for them if Eli would commit a little more. But also, Clare could have done without always hanging around Drew. I mean, sure Eli was gone, but they were still together. Yet, Clare let herself hang around Drew. I know Eli kissed Lenore, but it’s obvious he loves Clare more than anything. I’m really sad to see them ending, but I don’t think this is the end of Eclare. I hope not anyways.
