NO. NO to Becky and Imogen.
If Adam weren’t trans*, I may be down for them getting together. Adam had enough trouble being accepted as a straight male during his tenure on Degrassi, and his first girlfriend ended up being interested in him only because of his female body. I’m certainly all for being true to oneself and exploring sexuality, but Becky’s revelation is going to cast Adam’s identity as a hetero guy in a problematic light. Audiences may in retrospect view Becky’s relationship with Adam, as was the case with Fiona, as a “stepping stone” to a relationship with another girl, and not accept him for what he was: a heterosexual male who just happened to be born in a girl’s body.

If Becky and Imogen get together, it’s sending the message that a completely straight girl can’t like an ftm trans* guy. Degrassi killed Adam off the show, now they’re killing off his legacy as well.

Well, barring Imogen/Becky being a problem on quite a few levels… I am pleasantly surprised at the choices for plots the video has shown off. Provided they put up on each of them in the same way they did for the Alli/Leo plot most recently.
As for Imogen and Becky, I really hope they decide to turn this around and have Becky decide she isn’t into Imogen that way and it’s okay? Or some other zig-zag on the standard romance plots.

That’s the only way I could get behind this whole Becky-Imogen thing, that is, if Becky starts questioning her sexuality, shares a kiss with Imogen, but ultimately realizes that she likes boys. The show’s never had a plot like where a straight person questions his or her sexuality, but ultimately comes to the conclusion that they’re not interested in a same sex partner.

I’m kind of glad that it was not Miles and Chewy (you can clearly tell if you look at the last scene closely) because it’s not as predictable anymore; so it now leaves us with who actually did that to Zoe? I’m now interested on what Imogen is protesting I have a feeling that it’s going to be along the lines of what happened in “U Got the Look” but in a more productive way, I think.

I think it’s Becky’s brother Luke, he was in some of the pictures on the phone. But Miles and Chewy are probably falsely accused.

Oh dear….this is problematic. Honestly, I like the idea of Imogen/Becky as a couple far more than either Adam/Imogen or Adam/Becky. Especially considering the fact that Becky is still unaware of the fact that anything happened between Adam and Imogen, this is a plot that can create some truly interesting drama. But, as others have stated, this seriously does Adam a disservice by creating the implication that no straight girl (or entirely straight girl) will want him. It’s certainly gonna be interesting to see how the writers sort this one out…

Wow. Imogen is getting the treatment that Fiona got lost season such that the writers have no idea how to use her character except to throw a random love interest her way.

I don’t mind Imogen and Becky at all. Sure, it might stain Adam’s “legacy”, but it doesn’t really matter if becky truly loved him. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Becky’s changing sexuality. The reality is that sometimes (some cases) girls that are with ftm trans have the capability to love women. It’s that open mindedness that they possess that gives those girls the ability to date based on true love, and not by gender.

Clare and Drew No! Eclare can’t end! Becky and imogen? Bimogen? Eh. Weird. I hope she’s bi so she still loved Adam. What happens with Maya Miles n zig? I think Luke did it to Zoe which is also why Becky is tying to stop her.
