OK, can somebody please tell me why every single guy has to be attracted to Clare at some point? KC, Eli, Jake, Fitz, Asher, Dallas, Connor, Reese, and now Drew? Even MANNY didn’t have this many admirers. This is getting ridiculous and unrealistic (by the way, I’m not referring to looks, Clare’s personality isn’t exactly the greatest).

I’m not gonna lie…I’m kinda excited about the Clare and drew thing, i wanna see how they are gonna make this work…i just hope its not cheezy…but I will miss ecalre :/…on another note the whole alli thing with Leo, I do agree they need to make it better..I feel like the old degrassi that I grew up with (im 23 :) was more believable then the cast now…the problems they went through were so raw and open…even though I like the show now it’s not the same…I miss holly j:( random but true.:))

^ I agree, I am all game for some Drew/Clare as long as they execute it well. Any entertainment is good entertainment, regardless of which “ships” I prefer.

I am also very excited about Drew and Clare. I saw it coming a mile away but it will definitely bring some interesting stories to the table :)
I think that the promos are showing more of the relationship stuff than other drama that the Degrassians would face because over all, that’s what the majority of the audience is attracted too. I’m sure that there is going to be plenty of surprises waiting for us! In my opinion, I prefer being surprised about plots than being able to predict them from the promo. So hopefully that’s what TeenNick is aiming at right now, not spoiling things, and attracting an audience.

It wasn’t until the elections that I entertained the idea of Clare and Drew. I want it so much. Drew has matured so much over the seasons and is much more likeable. I’m not a fan of Eclare, never have been but I do acknowledge they’ve had some nice moments, and I do ship Drianca (and Krew) but I think I might enjoy this new pairing. Degrassi has broken up couples for the sake of drama, that’s one of the point of this show (drama) and the fact that not all relationships work out in the long run no matter how much one party (or fans) want it to.

Why the heck can’t Alli find a decent good guy? Seriously, I’m sick of her relationships crashing and burning time and time again. I thought Leo would be it in the long run, yeah foolish of me, but hopefully this will be executed better than their fling/relationship in Paris.

Don’t forget Dallas as well. It was funny how in Paris Alli was acting like no guy she’s ever tried to date cared for her. Dave and Dallas did, things just fell apart because of circumstances.

Dave cheated on Alli, and he’s the epitome of the ‘nice guy.’ He thinks he should be rewarded for being a girl’s friend or just being nice to her. He’s the kinda guy who would use the term friend-zoned and wonder why his girl friend who he has a crush on won’t start dating him the second he catches feelings. There’s obviously something wrong with her and she’s a bitch cause he’s just such a nice guy. He cheated on Alli the first chance he could get some, but then couldn’t forgive her for being busy because she wanted to get into a very prestigious school. She was passionate about her project, but he didn’t care. His short term confidence and comfort in their high school relationship was more important to him than her future success and fulfillment. Not very genuinely nice if you ask me.
Dallas on the other hand seems like a good person. He chose to focus on his son rather than a relationship, which is admirable. Alli and Drew may make a good couple at some point, but the timing wasn’t right. (Although, Alli annoys me as a character, so I’d rather Drew be with someone who isn’t so selfish and self righteous.)

I think I’m going to really dislike Zoe but I do understand her mentality because of being a TV Diva. Some kid actors lose sight of the real world. And it seem that she doesn’t understand why Miles dumped her. In her brain Maya stole her boyfriend in reality Miles dumped her because she is vicious and selfish. Narcissistic Prima Donna.. Its Zoe’s world.
She is going to ruin Maya’s reputation because of a boy…
As for Alli I hope she doesn’t get that battered womens complex and blames herself for the abuse.. As I deserve it. Its scary and it does happen.
AS for Drew & Clare I think Clare misses Eli or she develops a crush on Drew. I think she kisses Drew, Drew pulls back. But I have a hunch Eli will see this kiss then Clare is going to hug Eli unaware that he saw it. I have a feeling Eclare fans will be unhappy in the turn out. I think Drianca will be fine.
I think that Imogen, Winston and Becky are going to be involved with the paper and may wat to do a piece about texting & driving and I think Drew will take it personally and refuse them to do it.. The protest.

I am curious about Tristan wearing the basketball Jersey…I wonder if he is trying out for the team for a guy or something…Because i can’t recall him ever showing or mentioning an interest in the sport…

Am I the only one who wishes the show would do more with the Miles’ abusive father storyline? Like, he wins the election to become mayor, snaps with all his work, and beats Miles up? Then, when word gets out, he’s arrested and blames Miles for his problem?
Or,
Miles’ dad gets angry with Miles before elections take place, beats him, and Miles tells a news reporter about it? Then his dad loses the race, and Miles gets put in a foster home?
Come on, guys. I can’t be the only one who thinks this story line needs to go deeper.

The writers are pretty erratic with their writing nowadays, but trust me, there is hope for Miles’s storyline. Not only is he a fan favorite already, but the fact that they dropped the scene there in Summertime shows me that they won’t drop it. I’m 99.999999% sure it’ll turn into a storyline, in the same way Clare’s lump in S12 turned into a S13 storyline (the episodes aired so closely that it’s hard to realize there actually is a gap in between them, in the same way there’s a gap between 13A and whenever they start delving into this story).
Actually, there’s hope for the tenners in general now. Miles has this storyline, Zoe has her storyline about confusing TV actress life with real teenage life, Tristan seems to have a basketball storyline coming up, Maya has this rivalry with Zoe, Zig has this interaction with Zoe, and Winston is involved in the anti-Drew protests.

OMG if Imogen & Becky happen romantically I will puke. I don’t want A Fadam repeat. Lets use Adam FTM to confuse Becky sexually. Sounds stupid to me. Anywho, I would love to see Imogen actually date a guy again. As for Becky I want her to act out and maybe later on her Dallas to happen.
