From the looks of it, Clare was consoling Drew more than “hooking up.”
I just don’t want another President/VP relationship. I want a strong end-game relationship. In fact, there are TWO strong end-game relationship on the line: Eli/Clare and Bianca/Drew. The relationship development for the two is phenomenal. For once Degrassi, please have more of a steady relationship development rather than having everyone hook up with one another? :(
I am more interested in Dallas’ physical approach towards Tristan.

Honestly if they don’t make drew depressed or at least consistently thinking about Adam through this season it will make it seem like Adams death was just what it was: A final way to write out Jordan T. Without thinking about the lasting implications of the death of the character. Just because the actress leaves doesn’t mean the characters influence on others in the immediate months following a DEATH

I have a feeling that Drew’s (seemingly) drunken strip/cannonball near the end of the promo is directly related to his coping with Adam’s death. I think that Drew’s story line this season will center around juggling his school stresses, presidential demands, and moving on from the loss of his brother. And as we know, Drew’s not the best at handling stress.

So in other words, exactly what they did with JT.
Drew is a writer favorite, so I do think that he’ll get plenty of storylines about Adam. Plus, they’ve never shown a character getting over a sibling’s death before, so this could be a unique perspective.
No Crew please, though! Why must every guy be attracted to her? Does she have beer flavored boobs or something?

@Kary, LOL, I know I’ve been going on about this a lot, but these two death storylines only reminded me how epically the writers failed with JT’s death. I wish the writers had addressed why they decided to go with certain other (crappy) storylines instead.

Looks like Zig might be involved in some kind of gang situation or might get bullied. That to me is more interesting than Miles and Maya getting together.

From the looks of it, I think he’ll have some sort of confrontation with one of the students, given that the picture shows the guys around Zig. I know I’m making a guess but it’s one of the few things from the promo that has me excited for the fall episode block.

Holy crap! I had to watch that three different times to catch that shot of him. Sharp eye, Matthew! I’m looking forward to seeing more of Winston in 13B since we really didn’t get to know him that well in the summer block.

The new character name is Tony i believe, i looked on Wiki and it says NBA-Tony (1309 – 1340) Which is the episode coming in October is episode 9 and hes the only character that hasn’t shown yet so i believe Miles punched Tony, they didn’t wanna show him till later cause hes a new character oh whatever. :)

There starting to make Zoe’s “Mean girl character” way over the top. No one would ever do that in real life. I could only see her character doing this because she was an actor on a TV show and is used to the over-the-top dramatics, even when she isnt acting….but still.

Oh I saw zig in the beginning n he wasn’t in 13a at all. Then I saw maya. Becky n Imogen. Imogen. Zoe n she is like leaning down I think. Then Dallas who looks like he’s thinking or sad. It went by fast! Toward the end I saw alot! I think Alli was hugging Leo but I can’t be sure.

I saw Winston n Imogen with signs saying president. I predict that there saying drew is a bad president since he was half naked and jumped in a kiddie pool. I saw Zoe n Maya in a fight! I saw Zoe very angry! Dallas was pushing Tristan to a locker! Maya looked nice!

Yes, they dealt with Liberty’s reaction in The Bitterest Pill, but that’s the point. They didn’t go any further with showing her being devastated or coping with JT’s death…not even close to how they showed people dealing with Cam’s death or how they’ll (hopefully) show after Adam’s death.

LOL, I’m becoming well-known about my Season 6-7 outrage!
It’s not just the fact that Liberty was still in love with JT and the mother of his child. She’s the one who found him and he died on her birthday, yet this wasn’t mentioned once.
It’s not only Liberty. Toby was his best friend. He deserved more than that skimpy little B-plot, especially since this was his second close friend that died.

I should add that my annoyance was mostly directed to the aftermath of Cam’s death, not Adam’s. Cam wasn’t around for very long and only had deep ties to one character, while Adam was around for a few seasons and left a lot of grieving main characters behind, including a brother. A lack of Drew after Adam’s death would be just as awful as the lack of Liberty and Toby was after JT’s death. I’m not saying that they should have done nothing after Cam’s death, not at all! It’s just less impactful when it’s a short-lived character and it makes the epic failure after JT’s death even more annoying and frustrating.
Another thing I meant to add: I think that the lack of aftermath after JT’s death does prove that the writers have their favorite characters and non-favorite characters.

Has it ever occurred to anybody that maybe Drew maybe purposely sabotaging his own Presidency?…. And if Clare & Drew get together it would not even phase me. Degrassi is know to ruin many ships to create more drama.. I seriously can’t see Eclare or Drianca being endgame. Drew, Clare and Eli have the same issues being alone for too long. Especially Eli. I don’t think these three can handle long distance relationships.. I know I couldn’t.. The Writers even admitted they love messing with relationship. I never trust the writers..

I just noticed that Imogen was holding a sign saying Freedom of The Press. Maybe its the Degrassi Daily that is protesting against Drew for some reason. So Winston & Imogen could be part of the paper now.
