Wait, can someone tell me why Jordan Todosey is gone? Is it because she got a better oppurtunity [like Alex Steele] or did they kill her off because they had no more to do with her character [Like Leia and Wesley] ? I’m really interested as to why they would kill off a fan favorite.

Wow, those promos are so different. It looks like two completely different episodes. I’m favoring teennick’s (for the second week in a row!) because I always feel that when someone dies it’s important to remember the good things and celebrate their life. Much’s promo is so dark and blame-ridden, it doesn’t make me think of Adam at all.

I agree that celebrating someone’s life is the best way to grieve, but when you lose a loved one (especially when it’s sudden) there’s often a lot of anger, too. It makes perfect sense that Drew would be looking for someone to blame and lash out at Becky.

I agree to teennick did a better job again. It gives me hope where as the Much Music promo seems like a different episode and not a happy one. Its seems to focus on the negatives of the incident instead of remembering Adam.

I hope that Becky’s plot involves celebrating Adam’s life and not going bad, because that’s so cliché. They just did that with Maya and I think that Becky losing her faith will be too reminiscent of Darcy after her rape.
I guess the amount of screentime devoted to Becky will depend on how much the writers like the character. The new Emma-like characters are always writer favorites, which is why Maya got a two-parter, despite the fact that she and Cam were a puppy-love relationship and knew each other for a semester. On the other end of the spectrum, the writers didn’t care for Liberty, so she got half an episode, despite her long history and huge amount of emotional baggage with JT (LOL, I’ll TRY my best not to rant about Liberty’s lack of screentime after JT’s death like I did after Cam’s death if Becky gets a huge storyline, but I can’t make any promises).

LOL, I can’t help it! What were the writers thinking? There were so many useless plots during Seasons 6 and 7 that there was absolutely zero excuse for that.

Interesting how TN’s promo looks like it’s a celebration of Adam and his life, whereas the MM promo had a total different vibe to it.
Wonder what will show through in the episode as a whole.

Wow I actually really liked both promos! Teen Nicks was more on the “happy” side because they were celebrating Adams life! Muchmusics was very sad but it was more predictable! I’m guessing Drew will be very sad in the beginning and mad at Becky! I think Becky will be sad too but then realize they need a celebration of life! I’m still sad Adam died!

I’m sad to see that Adam is gone especially since we have seen him grow to accept the fact that he IS a boy and it was nice to see people around him growing to accept it and love him for who he was. But I just have to say, hats off to the writers because when I watched the episode before ” Honey” I expected Adam to be okay but he ended up dead. Totally unexpected. I sat here thinking that the summer would end with a happily ever after.

I understand why Adam died, yes it sucks. What I’m really angry about is there was no PSA about it.. Not that many cast members tweeted about Jordy/Adam.. It felt cold. We got no real statement form Jordy herself if left on her own terms. I didn’t even cry when Adam died thats how heartless this EP ‘Honey’ was. None of the Degrassi Family tweeted anything as in the Directors, producers and so on. Its like they didn’t even care for the Actress.. I really hope Jordy find something wonderful real soon, she has talent.

Good point! I never really thought about it before, but your exactly right. Normally, people are bombarded with tweets about an episode, before, during and afterwards. Here, someone dies and there’s only been a few tweets about a major death of a character that’s been with the show for 4 years.
Very unusual, must be some bad blood involved in this whole scenario. I guess suicide and murder are viewed differently than text/drive/die is. I get how suicide was an opportunity and obligation for them to get a message out, but wonder why this wasn’t?

This is why many fans are angry. Even fans who don’t like Adam are angry. It was portrayed badly. Like they did it for ratings.. Its a cop out. It seems they didn’t even care about the character or the Actress.

ikr! i thought jordy’s co stars would show more sadness of her departure…the only one who seems like they actually cared about her leaving was aislinn if u look on her twitter. she tweeted that she was gonna miss her. the other cast members didnt really respond to jordy leaving
