Wow. The TeenNick promos for this season are by far some of the worst promos I have seen during Degrassi’s run.

Eli think he attracts death because of his old girlfriend and cam so it would make sense for Clare to die too . :(

Much was so sad.. I already start feeling the strain on Clare & Eli I feel its going to get worse.. I wonder if this could break down Eli watching Clare’s emotional rollercoaster. I doubt Clare dies but I have a feeling this cancer is spreading. So they may have to resort to radiation and surgery. The puzzling question is Eli going to go NYU while Clare has cancer.?
The Tenner’s are so fun to watch, Zoe is a nightmare and Miles is just lovely. And where are they going with Alli and this Leo guy?

I posted this one already, but I might as well repeat it. What I think the funeral scene is about: Zoe’s character gets killed off her show (her character has cancer, correct?) and some Degrassi students will be chosen as extras for the scene. The writers won’t kill their precious Clare, they love her about as much as they loved Emma.

um i dont think clare is going to die because aislinn has been on set recently probably shooting more stuff for the fall block because they have already filmed the summer block by now i love aislinn shes gorgeous and a great actor i think its adam whos going to die cuz jordy has other projects which explains her growing out her hair

I kind of want Clare to die. I know it sounds wrong, but it’s just television, and if she does die, it will make her character go down in the books (even though it already is). Look at Campbell’s fanbase. His character is still buzzing in social media even though he killed himself in February. I doubt he would have as many fangirls as he does if he wasn’t attractive.
Plus, her death would add another tragic layer to Eli. It’s like they’re star-crossed lovers. We know the writers eat that stuff up

I really like MuchMusic’s Promo. It doesn’t give away much and it raises more concern for Clare’s storyline and sympathy for her character. But again teen nick still has that issue of revealing too much and trying to create this big hype soap opera thing.

Honestly, I can see the writers having the cancer go into remission to keep Clare on the show longer and maybe have her relapse in a later episode or season.

I love Claire and Eli’s characters, but eventually their gonna leave. Either when Claire graduate or if she ‘kicks the bucket’ or something else.

Clare won’t die (at least not yet). We haven’t even seen her with her new haircut! The funeral that was filmed however, could be a dream that Clare (or someone close to her) has about her death, which could explain why she wasn’t in attendance, but all of her friends were.

Maybe the new haircut was created to make the bald cap more concealing. And personally, I don’t believe the producers would pay so much money to film on location if they were only shooting a dream sequence.

Why would they make Aislinn cut her hair only to kill her character off ? Not to mention Clare has been shown with her cute short hair. They wouldn’t have all these photos of her if they were going to kill her character off.
I honestly think it’s Adam that dies. Bianca, Eli, Dallas all the funeral. Those people are connected to Adam. The only ones that aren’t there. Clare (with good reason) Imogen and Dave. I think it’s a car accident. Likely by a drunk driver.

They said to take the funeral scene with a bag of salt. That pretty much confirms that nobody (or at least nobody in the main cast) will die. I stand by my earlier statement. The funeral scene will be for Zoe’s cancer-stricken character on West Drive and some Degrassi students will be chosen as extras. Then, Zoe’s character arc will be about her dealing with the fact that she lost her role and possibly going on auditions.

Why would they do a fake funeral for Zoe’s character on Westside Drive?? Thats a waste of money to spend on location. I think someone will die it could be from a cause & effect by a main character.. Like drunk driving? Or Not paying attention.. It may not be Adam or Imogen who die but maybe someone else who was involved.. But explain to me why Adam & Imogen are not there but Eli & Becky ant the Torres family there?? Could Adam accidently hurt someone or maybe a child accidently died at the daycamp under Adam & Imogen’s care.. So many theories. If that did happen I can see the Torres family being there with frieds to support that family. I honestly think Adam dies plus I never believe what the writers say because they are tying to keep a tight lid on it.

I think the funeral might be for Imogen’s dad, they left that storyline behind without an ending. But honestly at this point I’ll believe anything that doesn’t revolve around it being Adam’s funeral.

I really wish they would give my girl Alli a different storyline/plot. Tired of the old same old same old with her. She’s always looking for a new guy to be with. Time for her to do something else, focus on something else in life. It’s her last year of High school. We need to know her college plans and what she’s majoring in.
