These promos. That girl’s voice that says “It’s a whole new Degrassi” The whole feel of this season. It all reminds of season 8. It looks semi-fresh and glamorous and is trying to start over. Am I the only one who feels like this?
It’s definitely a breath of fresh air. But I’m nervous because I feel like Degrassi is going in the direction of typical teen dramas like 90210, One Tree Hill, etc.
Like really?! These sophomores seem so grown up already…
I will give the newbies a chance, though. I was skeptical of the original minor niners, but they ended up being my fav characters. They will be dearly missed once they graduate 😢😢😢
I wish that Zoe was bitchier. Like season 7 Holly J bitchy. Ana needs to bring out her inner mean girl. She seems like a nice girl trying to be/sound mean.
Man, Drew is going to be the most clumsy president ever, and Clare’s gonna have to come clean up his mess while battling an illness and a boyfriend who’s away. Thing’s gonna get messy.
And Zoe reminds me of Mia and Holly J mixed into one.
I am VERY let down by the fact that Zoe is an actress who is on West Drive. That’s what her character bio on TeenNick says. That’s really lame on the writers’ part.

Hate to be a downer, but its like they didn’t learn from Mia’s convoluted fame storylines. They might prove us wrong and pull it off realistically but as of now I’m not too convinced.
We all know how this will work: she’ll come on the show behaving exactly how we expect a character like that to behave, then after a while her character will “level out.”
Are they gonna have Adam cutting this season? Didn’t he used to do that when he had to live as a girl? Makes me think if they’re calling him emo that’s where they’re going. also, they should really get him a binder for his chest cause it bugs me that the actress clearly has boobs.
If they’re gonna give Claire cancer I hope they do a good job of it and not just drop the plot like “hey she’s better!” two episodes later. It’s a good plot idea tho espicially since Eli is a bit unstable by nature.
