LOVE! Where are the Clare, Dave, and Luke solo pictures? I mean, we see Clare in the Group picture, but no Dave or Luke. And Becky’s still there, so where’s Luke? And where’s my boo, Dave? I don’t like that they aren’t there. Season 13 looks interesting, for sure!

I’m excited for season 13, but for some reason I just got this “off” feeling when looking at these pictures — maybe it’s the smaller cast? Something looks different.
Anyways, does anything think that maybe the first 8 episodes (or however many make up the first block) take place over the summer, maybe explaining why Eli is in these photos? How could he possibly stay for the entire 13th season?

Yeah one of the theories that’s been thrown around is that the summer block takes place over the summer break, but since they’re definitely introducing three new characters this summer school would have to start at some point during the summer block. Also, I feel like some people are overreacting to Eli being in season 13. I can’t imagine a scenario where he stays for the ENTIRE season.

Exactly, they very well may be doing the same for Imogen, too.
I thought we were looking at an old-school classroom at first haha, but now seeing that the pictures were taken at the Dot, this makes me think for sure that we won’t be seeing Degrassi at the start of the season.

i am so mad Imogen is staying her character will make no sense now like she is really smart y would they not make her graduate she is only Eli’s friend that’s it NO OTHER STORYLINES..STUPID!!!

Also she’s Fiona’s girlfriend. I don’t understand how some people get so riled up about characters, especially those that are rather harmless, unless those people are fearful of someone getting in the way of their ship.

Very happy to see Eli and Drew stay, that’s unexpected but I love it! I hate when good characters leave. The new kids, hmm 3 guys only one girl, kind of nice to see diversity though another Asian student besides the sadly forgotten Zane. I am also very glad to see Adam is still there! Imogen just won’t be the same without Fiona though :( and is Katie graduating? I forget her year and don’t see her, but i also see Dave missing so maybe it’s not everyone pictured.
And holy crap! Tristan lost a ton of weight and went blond, he looks good but very Draco Malfoy

Eli n Imogen r probably their cuz the beginning of season 13 starts in the summer. Stephon even confirmed it does n is called summertime (episode 1 n 2). i really hope Eli n Imogen stay the whole season tho! also idk but i bet dallas is staying bck. we already know drew is

Im really hoping Eli is gone by the end of these 8 episodes. Imogen i’d be okay with staying another season, since I felt like she lost all sense of individuality after she got paired up with Fiona.

So I take it that Jahmil and Craig are recurring now? A damn shame for Jahmil but idc about Craig he literally had little to no purpose on the show except to shout “Gay” he probably got tired of the role himself lol and Lord help Andre Kim! We’ve seen how this show treated Kendra, Leia, and Zane. He’s literally described as a sidekick to Miles lol don’t see him sticking around long. Interesting to see how this season will go though!

I’m hoping they do good with him. the actor his hot. I have a thing for Asians. I think they could do him interestingly, even if he’s a “side-kick”. Amazing characters start as side-kicks and you can see a lot of room for character growth. As long as they know what they want to DO with him. Granted, Kendra never was a main character. Spinner’s little sister (who got lost in the woods somewhere, apparently) and Leia…they just didn’t know what to do with her (which is sad. They could’ve done a lot of things with a ballet dancer) and Zane…I liked Zane. Too bad they didn’t do more with him (or with Riley for that matter!!)
I’m REALLY hoping they do good with this character. They’ve not really had an asian character they’ve done anything with, which is what you’re saying, and I agree.

I honestly hope Eli and Drew are gone by the midseason (the longer they stay the higher the risk to take a sledgehammer to their progress for the sake of drama such as how many felt Fiona was treated in this season). They’ve had so many story lines (that don’t end after one episode) and have been developed further than most of the current cast. We have a lot of characters that suffered because of unfair balance. It would’ve made more sense to keep Mo and Jake around (hell Marisol and Katie especially the former since she has had such small or supporting roles),

What if Imogen graduates but she has to stay to take care of her dad? That would make sense right?

It would make sense but then you end up with another “Spinner” problem where she isn’t at Degrassi and doesn’t have Fiona or (hopefully) Eli there full time so you have to write in some contrived reasoning to throw her in with the other characters. A better scenario is that her grades suffered because she had to be a caregiver to her dad and had to repeat.That would actually be a good plot for her since there are kids who have disabled or sick parents/guardians that they have to act as caregivers for while trying to go to school and work too.

I think this part of the S 13 block is summer break..That is probably why Eli is still here but will leave for NYU when school picks up in the next block. I think Imogen is being held back for some strange reason. It could be lack of credits.

Neither are leather jackets. Then again, neither was the nice suit they put him in for the S12 promo pics and he never wore anything like that in the show.
Maybe he’s gotten lucky at a thrift shop? Maybe Maya’s buying him clothes? Maybe the store’s doing better and his mom can afford to pay him for the work he puts in there? Maybe WhisperHug’s getting some paid gigs? Could be any of those things.

Why does everyone’s hair (aside from Tristan and Jenna) look so epically terrible? Clare has that cute new cut, but it’s got that one weird side piece hanging down! And I don’t know if Jordan Todosey wanted to grow out her hair or what, but Adam is suddenly looking like a bum with the hat and the stringy hair and it just doesn’t work. Even Alli and Becky look like someone went overboard with the flatiron.
