Description for part 2: At Model UN, Jacinta tries to explain to Dave how much she likes him. When he tells her the summer was a mistake, she is an emotional wreck. She steals Dave’s phone, and sends Alli a break-up text. Crying and upset, she runs into the street with the phone. Meanwhile, Marisol thinks Mo is developing a crush on her, and she wants to put a stop to it. Clare helps Adam prepare for his date, but when he meets his secret admirer, he’s mortified.

The promo alone is good, in that if I hadn’t read the obvious episode description, I wouldn’t know who got hit by the car or the circumstances around it. The description is waaaaay more revealing than the promo.

I honestly feel Adam’s admirer could be Maya, but it’s Tori’s doing in hopes of trying to get her a boyfriend. Shes clearly worried about Zig and her doing any interactions without her. Both Maya and Adam might likely get ambushed on this double date but could later realize they connect (romantically or not).
Of course, the admirer could be authentic and really like Adam, which I seriously hope for, but I have my doubts since Tori is involved.

I really hope that Its Maya, for 2 reasons, 1st, It would be realitivly cute, and Adams a good guy that needs to find someone. & 2. I have a HUGE soft spot for Maya. Altho my sense of logic is sadly telling me that its gonna be Tristin. :/ Because the written thing at the top says at the end that Adam is mortified at his secret admirer, why would he be mortified if its Maya? So, sadly it must be Tristin. But i really hope im wrong tho.

I had guessed it was Tristan when I read the first few episode descriptions before the season aired, and the previous episode just confirmed my beliefs.
Didn’t anyone notice that when Adam finds the first note, they show the LGBT button on his backpack? And then they show Tori’s eyes shift to that same button when Adam asks, “Does your friend know I’m…?” My guess is that Tristan and Tori mistakenly assumed Adam was one of the few other gay guys at Degrassi.
It’d be a pleasant surprise if Adam and Maya got together though (possibly stir up some drama about Adam previously crushing on her sister.) That was a couple pairing I’d never thought of until reading the comments, and it didn’t hit me until now how perfect they’d be together. Of course, this is Degrassi, where drama is held far above fantastic pairings. Lol

Uggggh, friggin’ MuchMusic. There are few things I hate as much as misused apostrophes. “…by the ONE’S who made them”? That’s a really big error, and it appals me to see that no one corrected it before the ad made it to the airwaves.

Ikr??? I have this theory that Dave and Ali are in the car and Dave gets a text from the girl and they end up in a crash. It left me crying but now I don’t think it’s gonna happen. The reason why I had the theory is because in Smash into you part one Dave gets a text while driving and he almost ran Ali over. But after reading something else it states that the girl takea dave’s phone and sends ali a break up text and she runs in the street.So yeah… U guys have anything better than mine?

I feel that both the Teenick and Muchmusic promos spoiled too much. Just because I know who’s getting hit way before the episode even aired doesn’t mean I want to see the aftermath of it before it airs.

I haven’t watched either promo because I still haven’t watched Part 1 yet…otherwise I probably would’ve gone on an angry rant about how the promos spoiled everything lol

It’s quite obvious from the description and the promos that Jacinta will run out into the street all upset and run in front of an oncoming car and get hit and Dave will feel guilty and blame himself for creating the situation or whatever. It’s such a classic TV trope.

“Crying and upset, she runs into the street with the phone.” I knew this was going to happen months ago when Kary first put up the 11.5 episode descriptions. Anyone who has seen as many soaps and melodramatic shows as I have, knows running into the street upset after a fight=run over by car. That being said, the TeenNick promo did a good job of creating suspense without giving away the result. Like we know there is an accident but we don’t know who is the victim (based on the promo alone) or exactly what happened, or if that person survived or not. The Much promo was just random and didn’t make sense so they never spoil anything.

From being threw into a glass door to being setup with a 9th grader, Adam has really had bad luckluck. Also every girl he liked started dating his brother which is messed up too. Adam does need to find a girl who likes him & accepts him for him because in every episode he looks sad. Side note: Wesley has fallen off the fa8e of the planet. FREE WESLEY

I agree, altho a heart transplant would also work. Marisol dosnt deserve someone that nice, neither does Katie, but judging from other trailers and promos i’ve seen she gets hers in the end so her im OK with for now. On a side note, (2 side notes) Adam & Maya should get together, (cant think of a cute mashing of their names, Help>?) & Fimogen also needs to happen like NOW. js. :) They would be the happiest and cutest couple still at Degrassi, hands down. (EClaire people you can HAVE Eli) :) Ok, done with my rant now.

You guys say that like it’s a bad thing. Do you WANT to keep hating her? Every evil character gets shows a softer side of them eventually, that’s how it works on Degrassi. Paige, Alex, Jay, Holly J, Bianca etc., get the picture?

I like the fact that Marisol will likely get more depth to her being around Mo, relationship or not. No one really likes the sterotypical character or the Mary Sue. Some people are just plain evil, but even the bad guys have a few layers to them that make them who they are. Maybe Marisol’s tough, attack before being attacked behavior to a lot of people has to do with how she grew up. She desires having a relationship like Katie and maybe Mo is the guy for her.
