I think it’s a Senior/Junior prom. Any other character that is younger must be a ‘date’ of a Senior or Junior.

Degrassi has the lamest dances. Granted, a Senior’s only prom would have like 12 people, so I guess this is the only way to fill the room.

I feel like I already know too much. Kary, I never understood why you “went in the dark” before previous finales, but now I do. After Thursday’s episode, I’m just going to go online to watch the MuchMusic Week 7 promo and that’s it. I’m going to be gone until Now or Never is over. Drop the World was spoiled like major, and even thought Eclare doesn’t really interest me, it was the main part of the episode and it pissed me off. I feel like the episodes would be more exciting if I knew nothing about them.
That being said, I’m probably going to end up so tempted to watch Degrassi Extra and read your review for Take a Bow, so I probably will do that to, as long as I notice that there’s no immediate spoilers for Dead and Gone.
I honestly can’t believe that everything is happening this fast. We got to the last week of Now or Never pretty fast, and even with an extra week, The Boiling Point felt like it lasted much longer. Not necessarily in a bad way (for either The Boiling Point lasting long or Now or Never going by fast) but it’s just an observation that I had.

Here’s my prediction of what’s going down, based on the very short promo…..Vince shows up at the prom for whatever reason, Bianca getting tired of being his puppet…whatever and goes after Drew and Katie steps in the way or something and ends up getting hurt…I know there’s something about someone dying, but that’s been expected due to a promo before and it’s been incorrect….cause it’d explain Drew’s exclaiming “Katie!” and the clearly horrified look on Adam’s face and Eli would naturally react if something happened that would effect his friend Adam.

Here’s my theory on the supposed death in “Dead and Gone”:
– Cake will break up, and Vince will show up at prom because he’s following Bianca.
– Bianca will try and get close to Drew. Katie will get mad. Then Vince will try to shoot Drew and Bianca will beg him not to.
– Vince somehow finds out that Drew is Adam’s brother, so he shoots Adam instead.
– Katie, Eli, and Clare are all crouched down on the floor by Adam’s body like it shows them in the promo. These characters have a relation to Adam so it makes sense.
– Then Eli and Clare are spending some time together because they are worried about Adam. Then they hopefully get back together sometime when Degrassi returns. ;)
– However I dont think Adam dies. Only because it doesnt make sense for the writers to scrap Adam’s character. He’s got so much potential and it would be stupid to scrap their transgender character. Plus, they are getting rid of seniors so they’re losing 6 characters already. I think someone else is gonna die but I’m not sure who and how. It will probably be a senior since they’re leaving anyways. Plus it would be a good plot. Someone’s dreams get shattered before they get to move on from high school.

I predict that eli and clare will get back together because in the promo jake breaks up with clare during the dance proabably because he realizes the feelings she still has for eli deep down or maybe just because she won’t put out. I’m thinking that maybe bianca will shoot vince because she doesn’t want him to shoot drew because shooting drew would be too predictable, thats what they want you to think.
