Making this post as the place for people to discuss The Boiling Point finale, All Falls Down. Because I don’t wanna know ANYTHING about the episode before I watch it, I’m basically going to disappear from the site until I’ve seen both parts. I want to watch both parts back-to-back, so I won’t be seeing the episodes until Thursday night. I really hope that this episode lives up to the hype they’ve been giving it.

Fitz isn’t as bad as they make him out to be. I’m liking Eli less and less because he’s as much of a jerk as Fitz is but we get to see some of his better moments too. We barely do with Fitz. Sure he’s a jerk but he has been provoked too and even though Adam flipped on him for the Bianca fight thing, I think it’s noble that this “douche” has the courtesy not to hit a girl no matter what. I actually enjoyed his scenes with Clare a lot and I wish we could see more of him being him and not a bully.

The suspense is killing me. I thought this was a really good build-up episode. I yelled “OHHHHH SH11TTT” so many times during this episode.
I think what I liked about this episode was that there was always a surprise, and when you thought one character would go one way, they went the other. I can’t even fathom what tomorrow is going to be like.
It’s not surprising that Drew hooked up with Bianca. Deep down I wish he didn’t, but what can you expect from a character like Drew? He’s a good guy when it comes to his friends, but he is definitely a manwhore. I hope Drew and Bianca get STDs. Alli was annoying this season, but nah man she doesn’t deserve that. I liked her today.
Fitz was seriously the man of the hour, I mean 30 minutes. When Fitz revealed he was going to have sex with her to Eli, that was just an intense scene. Like honestly, I think that would be crazy if Degrassi went down that road with Fitz trying to have sex with her tomorrow. 2 attempted rapes in one episode. But I know Fitz is going to get his revenge on Eli with the knife, so I don’t expect any attempted rape on Fitz’s part.
Eli and Clare have such great chemistry. You don’t have to be a fan of the couple to know that the actors themselves work very well together. It would be a shame for Degrassi to end chemistry like that.
Clare was great in this episode. She has the right mindset, but we all know Eli is gonna go apesh1t. I thought Clare was unintentionally funny the whole time. Her when she was explaining the situation to Alli and Jenna, and then after Eli kissed her and she looked like she pissed in her pants. It was great.
Talking about Alli, Jenna, and Clare, I like how they’re all friends again. I never doubted Alli and Clare stopped being friends. Like I’ve said before, when you have a best friend, you don’t need to hang out with that person all the time, but you know that that person always has your back when you need them. It’s good to know that Jenna and Clare are friends again, but Clare is with Eli so it’s not like there’s anything wrong with that. They’re probably setting up for the next half, cause I assume that if Alli is gone for some part of the season Clare and Jenna are gonna hang out.
I think this Boiling Point season would have really come full circle if the theme of the dance was a Carnival. When Clare was buying tickets and the Clare got the tickets, I totally thought they were tarot cards not playing cards. It would be cool, but the Vegas theme works.
I have nothing to say about the Holly J and Sav plot cause not much happened, but Sav gets a lap dance tomorrow so we’ll see what happens! Clearly friends with benefits, but I see a love triangle in the future if Declan is addressed once again. I like how Fiona still brings him up.
Tomorrow’s episode better be nuts.
Oh, and I just don’t like KC anymore. He appeared for like 2 seconds, but god after he ditched Jenna, I just don’t like him anymore.
Oh, and Adam just being blunt. “Clare is going to Vegas night with Fitz.” Good stuff.

It seemed even more real to me because Alli was the one sending photos to Johnny last year and now that Bianca is sending them to her boyfriend.. she doesn’t like it. lol I can’t wait to see how this situation plays out at the dance. Poor Alli is gonna be crushed.
For some reason, I don’t hate Fitz. I mean of course what he did to Adam and Eli was terrible but for some reason I just don’t hate him. I also don’t terribly hate the idea of him and Clare going to the dance with eachother. Obviously, I want Clare and Eli together but I wasn’t deadset against him going to the dance with Clare even if it was for revenge. Now, I could be totally off on this but Fitz seems like a Johnny where he’s a bully but he might be nice at heart and isn’t always a total jerk once you get to know him. However, him pulling a knife on Eli.. doesn’t make it seem that way…
There was really no other plot as far as I’m concerned. So, thats all I’m going to write about but I am definitely stoked for tomorrow’s episode. The writers have set it up perfectly for tomorrow’s episode so I hope it is AMAZING. :D

I didnt watch degrassi after JT died for a loooooong time. I cannot watch it any longer if they kill off anyone else. Especially Eli.
However the promo photo i think serves as xanax for us because it appears that clare eli sav and holly j are outside the school with cop cars. It appears they are safe. But who knows.
I am pretty sure Bianca and Fitz are in on this plan. She is going to mess with Drew to get back at Adam. Alli may get assaulted by Owen to get back at Drew and fitz gets his wish with clare.
I saw that the man with the knife was in all black, but eli was in red . It may be fitz with the knife. I think that eli makes a smug comment to tick off fitz and fitz leaves and returns with the knife. in the promo you see clare look at eli and say what did you do.
But…. seeing Eli steal that kiss was great. gave me chills.

I’m thinking the best bet would be Owen. (If someone were to die in tomorrow’s ep’)
A) he’s only a recurring character (what would be the point of bringing in a “main” character just to kill them 1/2 way through the season?)
B) Other recurring characters such as Fitz and Zane seem less likely (Fitz’s bio says something about him changing his life or whatever on the muchmusic site. And killing Zane would just seem out of place/random)
C) Alli (we know he’ll be alone w/ Alli….we know Alli will be leaving for awhile…..so it makes A LOT of sense actually for something intense to happen to Owen)

So before I actually start my rant on this evening episode I would just like to point out that I have been a very dedicated degrassi fan since season one…and my parents are extremly strict…especially on what TV shows I watch…I started watching degrassi in I think 3rd grade and I’m in 12th now, and I’ve been watching the show without my parents knowledge for almost 10 years. So go me! lol but anyways…
I honestly thought tonight was great. I was really dissapointed in drew. I really thought he was going to be able to be stronger than biancas tempting ways. Also maybe it’s just me, but if I were Ali…I wouldve killed drew when I saw those photos! I guess she just really trusts him…obviously she shouldn’t. I really don’t wanna see poor Ali get hurt.
on another note…I think my parents are on to me every little Clare and Eli scene that came on my sister and I were screaming and cheering and gleeing with delight everytome something happened between them. There chemistry is amazing and just gives me the biggest butterflies. I feel so sorry for Eli especially after he heard that whole “I’m gonna bang your girlfriend” thing from fitz. I’d be pisssed to. but I understand Clare wanting to smooth things over.
I thought this episode was really good for a part one and in super excited fir tomorrow night! :)

i actually liked the drew and alli part at the very beginning…i thought it was cute when she was asking him about the test because it reminded me of the old episodes when some of their conversations was just regular small talk
but i am so confused about the classes. apparently drew, adam, eli, and bianca are juniors but they all have classes with the sophmores

Yeah, but we aren’t even sure that Fitz has the knife. It appears that way… but we aren’t sure. The Degrassi people could be setting it up to look that way.
Also, yes, it shows Clare and Eli outside which probably means there safe. But it also shows them backing up like 3ft away from someone with a knife so I think they are very much aware of the knife.
I don’t think Holly J. and Sav are going to be a big part of the lockdown. I just think Snake… ooops I mean Mr. Simpson(lol) is going to be mad because they were supposed to be responsible and basically chaperoning the dance and they’re not.
I think the lockdown is going to be because Simpson hears theres a weapon(knife) but I think that Adam, Fitz, Alli, Owen, and POSSIBLY Clare and Eli(even though I doubt it) will be apart of the lockdown.
Btw… someone needs to trap Mrs. Torres in a room and not let her out until things are handled at the school because I will not let her kick Mr. Simpson off as the principal. lol

I love the look on Jenna’s and Alli’s face when Clare was telling them about Eli and Fitz.
Even though nothing intense happens yet, the tension in the built up is extreme! Its obvious that Eli won’t keep his hands cross, and I actually felt his fustration. Tomorrows episode will be epic!!
I have to say, Fitz is my favorite Degrassi bully. I hope they don’t ruin the character in the second half.

I’m pretty sure that the producers are trying to misdirect us. While we’re looking right, there’s actually something going on to our left. I think we’re all expecting the major shocker to be an Eli/Fitz situation, when really, the true shock will be in some other area we weren’t expecting to be so monumental (ie. Owen and Alli)

This is just a random thought.. the person holding the knife in the promo is wearing black gloves. I haven’t seen Fitz or Eli wearing black gloves in any All Falls Down promos… the only person I’ve seen bearing black gloves is Holly J, who I severely doubt is maliciously carrying a pocket knife (but then again, with Degrassi, I’m never surprised). Either the owner of the knife is already wearing black gloves to the dance, or them pulling the knife was premeditated and they put on the gloves first.

Was the I the only one who really liked the mr. simpson/mrs. torres interaction was a great build up to the new rules and uniforms. This is a lot more realistic I mean drew`s hazing, adam and eli`s being bullied, stink bomb, low test grades, many fights(ex. fitz/drew, fitz/adam,ect.), lockdown, possible rape, and lets not forget past seasons. Shooting, cuting, hook-ups, sexting, more fights lol I mean its about time degrassi look like a real school they should have done this by season 6/7. Lol can’t wait for mrs. torres` reaction that will be awesome especially since adam and drew might be a part of the lockdown.

I think if anyone were going to get hurt during pt. 2 I think the most logical choice would be (sad to say) Alli. I’m sure you all know that actress Melinda Shankar won’t be there for the last half of the season (she’s going to work on her other series how to be indie) so if the writers anticipated this, then they would give her a reasonable send off (she’s in the hospital hurt or something/coma) so we as viewers aren’t going “Where’s Alli?” And it gives something to build off of. And it explains the faces in the final picture as well. Sav looks the most ‘freaked out’ in the pic (which if its Alli then duh, that’s his baby sister) followed by Clare (its her best friend, maybe she feels responsible?).
Of course this is all speculation, but i highly doubt any of the newly introduced characters would be leaving us!

I don’t think Eli really thinks Clare is that much of a whore. I think it’s more that he’s worried about what Fitz might do to her to MAKE her spread her legs (drug her? Flat out hold her down and force her? Or maybe even make sex as part of the deal to drop the feud?). So, in my eyes, he’s continuing the battle because of the potential threat Fitz holds to Clare’s safety, not for revenge. Notice how he was willing (albeit in a very annoyed manner) to let Fitz and Clare have their date (when he sees Fitz, he doesn’t threaten him not to take her; he just threatens Fitz with the consequences of hurting her, thus implying he was going to allow this date to occur). It was only when Fitz mentioned sleeping with Clare that Eli REALLY became angry and came up with this plan. He just, to me, was worried about her and didn’t want her to get raped. So while I don’t agree with his methods at all, I do sympathize with him now more than I did when he was after petty revenge.

O my goodness, YES! I thought I was the only one that HATED Adam in Purple Pills part 2. In my opinion, Fitz hasn’t been that bad this week. In Fitz’s own messed up way, he was kinda being considerate of Adam. He just didn’t use the right words. Maybe it’s just because I think an eye for eye makes everyone blind, but I did not think Adam should have started the fight. It wasn’t good enough reasoning. She wasn’t specifically saying that terrorists use ipecac, she was saying that terrorists use scare tactics – and it’s true. Look at how freaked out America was after 9/11. The terrorists’ initial display of power freaked us all out. Naturally what Eli is doing is on a much smaller scale, but it’s the same idea. Slipping something ipecac is NOT a good idea, for several reasons: Eli doesn’t know what could happen if they used too much, he doesn’t know if Fitz is potentially allergic to an ingredient in it, thus making it lethal…etc. There are just way too many things that could go wrong (and actually make it, as Clare suggested, synonymous to poisoning someone). So, no, I didn’t think Clare was overreacting. I understand where Eli was coming from (he doesn’t want Clare to get raped, but he’s afraid it might happen if she doesn’t disable Fitz in some way), but I also think Clare had a very valid point. How far is too far? If you don’t stop at poisoning someone, where WILL you stop? If there is a threat to do something even worse lingering at the back of everyone’s minds, or if something unexpected and dangerous DOES occur, then DOESN’T that make one like a terrorist?
And lol @ Jenna at Clare’s house. I think the writers were trying to show that Clare is now officially over K.C. and doesn’t dislike Jenna anymore. It would have been nice to see a scene where Clare and Jenna officially made up, but…
I think we’ll probably see more of the Clare x Jenna friendship in the second half of S10, once Alli is out of the picture. So maybe we’ll learn how they officially made up then?

And this all goes down because Holly J and Sav let their guard down to go into a classroom so Holly J could give Sav a lap dance in the dress Fiona gave her (if you notice, shes wearing a black dress but when you see her and Sav alone shes in the red dress).
With Drew they say it ‘puts his relationship to the test’ so it’s not 100% that he follows through with Bianca. Personally, I think he does and he and Alli break up cuz she’s leaving for the second half of the season so it would be awkward having Drew in the plotline with no Alli.
And with Alli? No idea. I think it would be really intense to have a stabbing and a rape in one story line but it is the boiling point so I do think it’s possible. If anything I think Owen offers her the money, she says ‘heeeeellll no’ then he forces her and at least sexually assaults her.
And to a previou comment, obviously Eli, Clare, Holly J and Sav would be concerned…they’re students at the school and they’re human. Even if the person stabbed was someone they didn’t know they’d still be shocked. And Sav looks shocked, Holly J looks concerned, Clare looks worried and Eli looks mega pissed..obivously…he’s pissed at himself and pissed at Fitz for being an idiot.
And btw, I don’t think Fitz is going to have sex swith Clare…I think he’s going to just be pushing the boundaries to see how pissed Eli can get.

I don’t think anything will happen to Adam, because you can see him standing at the food table in the scene where Simpson announces the lockdown. And he’s obviously fine, which leads me to believe he had nothing at all to do with it. I think Alli is the character who is going to come out of this the most “broken.”

Since clare is not going to use the ‘poison’ Eli will, making Fitz trow up. hence why clare says ‘what did you do’. Fitz, after trowning up he goes to his locker and thats where clare finds him, he takes the moment to get the knife. Clare always trying to be the peacemaker, talks to fitz about ending this rivary(or something of that sort) Fitz says he’ll talk to Eli, and Clare goes and gets eli so he and fitz can talk. But Fitz has no intention of talking, and clare unknownly brings Eli to an armed fitz, although I know the outcome, (because of the picture chatay accidently posted) the inbetween of what happens then until the end, I have no idea. I really hope it is good.

From looking at the promos and pictures it looks like Clare, Eli, and Owen at least are all in the gym when the school goes into lockdown.

Boiling point- BOILING does not mean exploding or anything…just like getting to the point where it is ABOUT to completely go insane or get really intense. So the point where it ‘boils’ over really means it just gets to the point where it’s about to get VERY intense. So that must mean the second half will be even more intense than the ‘BIG’ event. Wow see the boiling point is actually a set up for the next half of the season. One thing that popped out to be was Dave had a gun, Eli dropping books, Clare becoming a slut(I think someone joked about that and well now they are right), and someone leaving Degrassi (to me it sounded like Leia but it possibly could be Alli which explains her missing ness from the second half of the season)
Everyone just remember those scenes are probably only from the top 6-10-ish episodes of the season so thats not even all the drama to happen.

But seriously, this episode was a nice way to end the summer’s daily dose of Degrassi. We got to see all the characters from this seasons minus Dave et al and Declan, but everyone was together. I hope other people felt bad for Fitz more than Eli. Clare probably isn’t far off calling him a terrorist…of the mind. :)

One thing that I liked about the episode was when Simpson just screamed at his most trusted students excluding Eli. I think at least Eli could of gotten slashed. But again it was a setup and it makes sense in a way because those things that happened in the episode would regularly be their own episodes and simpson would deal with each issue individually but all at once it created a major issue which in term makes Degrassi seem like the worse school on earth lol

So… that was not that BIG of an event, especially for Degrassi’s standards. I mean the only intense thing was the illusion of Fitz ‘stabbing’ Eli and then Eli going down, with that depressing background music. When I saw the knife in the wall I laughed out loud. Yeah… Degrassi did it again.
Plus, I swear to god, that Clare and Fitz moment in the beginning of the episode was pretty darn cute. I really think Fitz is a closet dork.

Apoligies for the follow up comment… but it would make sense that it was Adam. Mrs. Torres is probably trying to take both Adam and Drew out of the school after what happend. So it was most likely Adam telling Clare and Eli that his Mum is making him leave.

It’s definitely Leia. It sounds just like her, and we all already know that she isn’t going to be in the second part of this season. That line is probably taken from one of the earlier episodes in fall. (It’s like with Declan’s “what did you do to my sister” comment from this summer, everyone thought it was something big and shocking, and it was really just a line that Declan says to Holly J in the movie.)

emo clair looks terrible. this season i thought she found a look that worked for her. in season 8 her “look” annoyed me with the uniform. season 9 was better because she wore normal clothes and let her hair down. I think this season was the best because it looked like something she should wear. Then i saw emo clair and threw my hands up in denial.

I half expect Stephen Stohn to tweet “HA! Gotcha!” because that is exactly what this episode felt like. A practical joke. All that hype? Really? I knew it wouldn’t be as big as they made it out to be, but I at least expected SOMETHING to happen. All in all, major letdown. The promo for next half looked promising at least.

All that’s happened at Degrassi and THIS is what gets you to implement security and uniforms.
I mean, the knife was dangerous, but it was one incident and nothing violent happened the most that would happen IRL is better school security for a while.
The boiler room BJs? If anyplace is around long enough to get a reputation for hook ups, the staff should have known by now.
THE WORST though is Savvy J. If I were Snake, I would have suspended BOTH AND REMOVE THEM from office.
I mean, could you imagine Sav and Holly J both losing their tiles in the middle of senior year, and struggling with college applications and stuff because of it?

Well, for one, stabbing him would not have been a very good idea…
Second, it was a sort of payback for the practical jokes Eli and Clare have pulled on him during the season. The two of them were pranking him all this time, and in the end, Fitz got the last laugh.

So where to start…This episode was a letdown considering the hype it received (I don’t just mean teennicks promo). I mean I’m okay with Eli not getting stabbed, but like seriously nothing happened…I guess Steph Stohn was just joking when he said it was better then Jimmy’s Shooting or JT’s death..because it was no where enar as good as those two. The best part of this episode for me was the Hallway scene which had my heart pounding, but Fitz pretending to stab Eli..? I can;t wrap my head around that for some reason. I at least expected Eli to get stabbed and not die but he walks out the next scene like nothing happened and casually talknig to Claire. Another issue I had with this episode was how they showed the stabbing(or fake stabbing) It was not clear at all..considering the dark room and camera angle and everything. I actually thought Eli got stabbed, then in the next scene he walks out like nothing happened. Whether it was intentional or not I think they should have made it clearer..All in all this episode wasn’t bad I actually kind of liked it despite having just criticizing it lol..Mainly because of the hallway scene where even though nothing happened, had a creepy ass vibe to it.

It’s weird that a school would differentiate uniforms per class, but in the promos looks like they are. Seniors wear blue, Juniors wear red, Sophomores wear yellow, and Freshmen perhaps wear yellow. That’s super restrictive so teachers etc. (even people in the streets) know what class you belong to I suppose…

I’m the only one who thought this episode was great? It was a perfect setup for the second half of Season 10. Saying it’s anticlimactic is 100% missing the point. Just look at the promo. We’re in for another 24 episodes. I would say that this, in hindsight, will actually prove to be the best episode of Degrassi history.

Degrassi did a good job rebuilding their image after some hot garbage seasons that bordered on being cancelled.
But they dropped the ball.

Just listen real close, and and if you’re still not sure, watch a scene with Leia to compare. It’s definitely her. And considering we already know that the actress who plays Leia is going to only be in the first half of Degrassi (she left the show to go to college) it’s the only possible answer. That promo was dramatic on purpose, it’s like Declan and Clare’s lines from the summer promos: “what did you do to my sister” “what did you do” all of those sounded super intense, but when they appeared in the episode, they weren’t the OMG moment everything thought they were going to be.)

Am I the only one who thinks the Degrassi lockdowns are getting progressively worse as the show goes on?
Lockdown #1: Rick brings a gun to school… and accidentally shoots himself less than 30 minutes later.
Lockdown #2: KC brings his coach’s gun to school… and turns it over to the principal less than 10 minutes later.
Lockdown #3: Fitz brings a knife to school… and fake-stabs Eli, getting himself arrested less than 5 minutes later.
Meanwhile, Eli gets Fitz arrested and poisons his drink without getting busted until he outs himself. I guess we know who’s the writer’s (and all of our) favorite.

I still have goosebumps because of how intense this epi was:D
First of all, I love how they just jumped right into the action. Like within the first 5minutes Ali found out about Drew and there relationship was done… for now. Everything that I thought was going to happen to Ali DIDN’T. I honestly thought something would happen with Owen but it didn’t because good old (being sarcastic) Drew was there to save the day. Hmm.. how ironic that the girl that messed everything up(Bianca) also helped to save Ali… :)
The Fitz plot was genius. At first, I was thinking how sweet he was being. Especially his, “my mom made me bring it…” comment:) If only Clare wouldn’t have messed it up by making them trade drinks, maybe he wouldn’t have pulled a knife on Eli in the first place. I was literally yelling at the TV and I gasped when I saw Eli fall to the floor because it was an exact JT replay but when I saw that knife in the door and not on Eli… I was so happy and even had a BIT more respect for Fitz for not actually stabbing Eli like I thought he was going to. Btw… I lost all respect I had for Eli when he put that stuff in Fitz’s drink. Geez… if he just didn’t do that, FITZ WOULD’VE LET THE WHOLE THING GO!!! I hope Fitz comes back next season and changes his life for the better because all though he’s a great bully… I think he would be a very dynamic character if he actually showed his real self or whatever:)

Haha, I somehow really hope Fitz comes back. I mean, pulling a knife at school yet not hurting/stabbing anyone is a minor offense that results in suspension, tops. Plus, if Clare (who pities him) and Eli (who hangs off Clare’s every word) testify that he stabbed the knife in the wall/it was a practical joke gone wrong, he could get off easy. Maybe he comes back to the new strict Degrassi, but has a ton of restrictions placed upon him? (He was cute with Clare this episode, too…)

The person leaving Degrassi is Leia. Listen closely and go back and compare it to Leia scenes, it’s definitely Leia. It sounds just like her. Besides, Degrassi promos are 100% misleading 100% of the time, so just because the last few scenes before that line were with Clare (and/or Alli), that doesn’t mean anything. Think back to Declan’s “what did you do to my sister” line and Clare’s ‘what did you do” line in the summer promos, and then what really happened in the actual scene.

Oh no..snake lost all hope in his students…someone getting stabbed to death and someone else being paralyzed from the waist down in resulting in of school shooting is totally on the same level of snake getting pissed and new uniforms. This episode in my opinion wasn’t a bad episode at all. I liked it quite a lot, and of course its obviously a setup for season 10 part 2. But I think its okay for some people to be disappointed considering that it was overhyped by stephon stohn himself not just teennick. Although it can’t compare to Time Stands Still and Rock this town, it is a very good turning point for the show nonetheless. Can’t wait to see how the enw changes stir up drama and hopefully the second half of season 10 has a really top notch finale. Seeing Snake really pissed was kind of awesome though since he is presented in a different light then he has been through the entire degrassi series.

You can definitely tell from her voice, and it wouldn’t be the first time a line in a Degrassi promo was used out of context and hyped up to be something it really wasn’t. the episode really was not that bad…moved too quickly and should have been an hour long episode but it wasn’t terrible

I honestly did love this episode, and it was intense for me and someone should not have to die or get hurt for it to be good, and if you thouht the episode was to hype, nothing that is hyped often lives up to the impossibl expectations, mind you its only a 30 minute show.
I loved it, and then thisisnt even the whole season, its jsut half after one month degrassi comes back. SO its like the season final was moreso a mid season finale.

It wasn’t like Kary’s blog or the comments here hyped the episode to death — the Degrassi staff fooled us with the promos on TeenNick and MuchMusic (which made us think all hell was about to break loose), the “Shark in the Water” lottery wheel (highlighting “Lockdown” — how were we supposed to know that meant a pocket knife?), and even Stefan’s comments (“It’s better than the episode when that guy got stabbed/that guy shot himself!”).
It’s only natural that people would be disappointed, right? (Although the next half looks pretty good.)

was it a good episode? yes. was it overhyped? YES. it wasnt nearly as intense as it could have been and was in no way better than jt or jimmy and it was pretty rushed the whole time (or at least alli’s plot was), but it was still a pretty good episode. at the very least, it was a setup for the rest of the season. the promo made me feel like the school sort of stays in lockdown.

It’s Leia. The actress playing her left Degrassi for college, and Leia isn’t going to be in the full fall lineup. Plus, if you listen you can tell it’s her (go back and listen to some Leia scenes if you’re not sure). Degrassi promos are always 100% misleading and super hyped up, so just because the promo shows Clare and Alli both having emotional breakdowns during this time, doesn’t mean that the “leaving Degrassi” line has anything to do with that or them.

If it werent for the fall promo, i would have been really disappointed because that fall promo already seems better than what the boiling point could offer in terms of stronger emotional storylines. This episode was to have the magnitude to change Degrassi forever and it did have the situations not considered safe for schools for example, knives, sexual conduct of sorts, lack of leadership, lack of trust but everything happened way too fast because it is just a half hour. The Boiling Point has been telling stories slow but I felt this ep was rushed. It had its moments though

Yeah I know everyone is mega disappointing but must you spam we get the point the episode wasn’t what everyone thought it was going to be but DAMN relax take a chill pill. Im pretty sure that last scene with Eli and Fitz shook up a lot of people then the let down he wasn’t really stabbed. Is this all we expect from Degrassi, someone getting killed >.< Stephen Stohn definitely hyped it up too much But a lot of people here also hyped it up with their predictions and what not.
So overall All i can say is try to relax and remember that the season isn't over and Degrassi Successfully brought in VIEWS, Popularity VIA Twitter and other media sources, and many other things. And for a tease this episode probably got another series high for Degrassi which is great. Then the Second Half of the season looks like it's really going to bring it so just don't write off this season just because your disappointed Degrassi didn't GO there and Explode. Degrassi is just boiling what they do with that boiling water will be the second half of the season which seems really interesting from the promo.

It was a cool episode. Some great moment that made yell at the TV in frutration. Drew’s mom is so nuts, the only thing that redeems her is that she is more accepting of Adam than most parents would be. Poor Alli!
And poor Claire. She tries so hard to do the right thing. I really felt for her.
The only thing that was surprising about the episode is that it seems someone is finally gonna discipline the Degrassi student body. Good for Archie, yo. His utter disappointment and final reaction was the greatet part of the episode to me. The guy takes a lot of shit for the school he loves and the kids take advantage of him. He’s finally gonna grow a pair. I just hope Degrassi doesn’t do the metal detector thing.

I have to say, when the credits rolled for part2, I thought to myself, “what the fuck did I just watch?” The only thing about the episode that I can defend is the Fitz not stabbing Eli part. I know all of you are like “WTF?! He didn’t even stab him? Why did he pretend to stab him?” I think Fitz had no intentions of stabbing him. What he wanted was to see Eli fear him, and that’s just what he did.

Ok here is my two cents. I was a little sad that no one got hurt/killed/raped ect. But it was still a good episode and a great season. It sent it up for an every greater second half. I know people are saying well all that happen was nothing, but if you think about it a lot has happen then season. The fight, hassing, hook ups. This was just the cherry on the sundae. Also Clare, Holly J, and Sav where very close the Snake and they are the ones that cause this mess. So yea theres that.
So for the next half im very excited. Also I think it is Adam who said he is leaving. The voice sound like a deep girls voice.

I just finished watching All falls down part one and I have to say I am disappointed. Don’t get me wrong it wasn’t a horrible episode I just had high expectations. I think if it was an hour long episode than maybe it wouldn’t feel as rushed and maybe there would have been more time for something to happen.
I really did think Eli was stabbed. I think if he was injured, but lived(because I wouldn’t want him to die) than it would have been better or if Fitz was stabbed by Eli from self defense. Anyways, was the intense thing that happened to Alli Drew breaking up with her or Owen? Owen really didn’t do anything damaging.However, the events still caused Mr. Simpson to make drastic changes. Well, I still love Degrassi and this season! Oh and can’t for the next half!
(This may be a dumb question on the promo for the next half of the season after it says “No one will be the same” The girl standing infront of Eli is….Clare,right? If so she changed…Alot.)

Scratch that! Okay it may have been lower than my expectations but I still liked the episode and Degrassi. Maybe it just felt rushed. This episode should have been made an hour long. If so I think it would have felt less rushed. But like stated a few posts ahead this episode had it’s moments. When I thought Eli was stabbed I jumped. This episode had me biting my nails at times. I AM SO FUCKING DISAPOINTED! First of all Stefan stohn said that something major happens to alli wtf!?! Um u call getting rejected by ur moms boyfriend intense? Well, I am totally disgusted. What a letdown. I surely hope Stephen Stohn was joking when he said this was his favorite episode of all time, because it pales in comparison to Jimmy being shot, Rick committing suicide, and JT getting stabbed. What the hell? I am so totally disgusted from the over-hype. I am excited about when it returns in the Fall, because the promo looked good.
And what the hell is wrong with Drew? Why is he blaming Bianca and calling her a slut? She didn’t force him into the boiler room. Alli should have told Drew’s mom what was going on, because I would have never let any dude’s mom call me that, especially after he cheated on me. Bianca is gross though, but at least she is geniune in her lack of respect for anyone including herself.
I find it funny that they showed Chantay at all. She got one whole screen shot. Wow.
Anyway, I’m glad to hear other people are as disappointed as I am. I really don’t think these new seasons will ever be as good as the old ones, but Degrassi is like crack, and I will continue to watch it despite my disgust.

i just rewatched the episode and came to a few conclusions
1. The season is not over, so technically it is not the worst season ever because we have yet to see the remaining 24 episodes.
2. Ali says im leaving degrassi due to her filming her show How To Be Indie.
3. Though it was a little bit of a let down, I think Eli getting stabbed would have pushed it too far. Some people take the show a little too seriously and would have been traumatic about it. I glad eli didnt get stabbed because it allowed me to take a deep breathe and prepare myself for the rest of the season without thinking about it over and over.
4. Claire didnt go goth, if anything she wanted to seem more attractive so she straightened her hair, combed it over and put on lipstick. We dont know for sure if this is a new image or if she just decided to try something different for a day.
5. Gained respect points for Claire and Fitz
Lost respect points for Eli, Drew, Owen, Mrs. Torres, Bianca, and Sav
Feel sorry for Mr. Simpson and Ali
** Did anyone else turn the channel when Sav started singing. I can take Jenna singing because it was for a competition but Sav singing just made me roll my eyes. It was soooo unnecessary :|

PROMOS ARE DECEIVING. One thing that I thought was bad was how Stephen Stohn over-hyped it but besides that it really was a strong episode and I am going to remember it in the future because of the strong acting from everyone and how Eli explained somewhat why he is the way he is and how Snake told everyone shut the hell up and move out my face you lying mofos to his favorite students.
But yeah not the worse season ever and if the end of this season is anything like this episode (as far as drama goes) someone might actually die or get injured or at the very least some very unexpected turns

I really liked this episode. Maybe if was not as intense as other degrassi’s but it was great seeing all the storylines come to an end and getting open some new ones.

Ah, I’m glad I’m not the only one who was VERY disappointed at All Falls Down. SO OVERHYPED. It was by no means better than Time Stands Still like Stephen Stohn said. Seriously, I’m so disappointed and kinda pissed. The rest of the reason before these 2 episodes was amazing, and All Falls Down was such a huge letdown. :(
A lockdown over a kid having a knife? Talk about rudimentary. NOTHING EVEN HAPPENED. It was an empty, supposed threat. Eli didn’t get stabbed, nothing blew up, Alli didn’t even prostitute herself! COME ON. SO ANTICLIMACTIC. haha. But in all seriousness, this episode sucked balls just because it was supposed to top what was a great half of a season, and it didn’t even come close. :(

This plot wasn’t as good as I thought it would be. I was hoping that Clare would end up going to the dance with Eli and that maybe Fitz would get jealous and do something to start with Eli. And then Eli would poison him. And that Fitz would actually end up stabbing Eli….and him ending up alive and that Clare would be with him crying for help and him telling her that he would leave her. And then the episode ending with them kissing him in his hospital room…
Drew/Alli/Owen/Bianca
I think that would have been better if that Owen almost tried to rape her and that Drew tried beating Owen up and with the whole situation with his mom. He should have stood up for Alli..

I gotta agree with the majority that this last episode before break was a letdown. Yeah, it was suspenseful in some parts, but there was no good payoff for any of it.
The Fitz and Eli rivalry had some pretty violent moments throughout the season, so i didn’t find it interesting that it ended in practical (though slightly dangerous) jokes. And in the end, nothing happened, except the “fight” ends with Fitz getting arrested for real.
Alli’s story line could have gone somewhere, she almost had sexy times with Owen, that almost turned into forced sexy times, but then Drew saves the day. Alli and Drew were alone and could have had sexy times, but then Drew’s Mom comes in (news travels fast in that school). I think they hinted that Drew and Alli are still a couple at the end of the episode, and they were a couple in the beginning of the episode. So all together, nothing happened.
And then the Holly/Sav plot… does it count as a plot, they had like, three scenes. He sings, they almost have sexy times, they get caught, so nothing happens.
I get that it’s a set up for the second half of the season, the reason behind all the school changes, but I still think something big should have happened. All three plots got built up for something big and all three fizzled out at the end. Someone should have gotten some uninterrupted sexy times!… at least.

Is it just me or was anyone else disapointed? Don’t get me wrong..I loved the episode, especially the Clare/Eli ones but I feel everyone made it sound so much better than it really was.

I agree; if you weren’t exposed to any of the promos, just the shark in the water promo (like I was) It was actually a very good episode. I mean, come on, for a mid-season episode, i wasn’t expecting anything that extreme– leave that for the actual finale– and sure, they overhyped it with saying it was better than JT’s death, and Jimmy being shot. But overall, I liked it. I watched the two episodes back to back.
but after it finished, I was thinking.. “Oh, ha. That was funny. Show me the real episode.” Because I thought it would be really intense. but whatever.

So, just my 2 cents on the “I’m leaving degrassi” line.
To me it honestly sounds like Adam while he’s crying. And that makes sense because of the way his mother is and probably wants to pull her sons out of the “chaotic” degrassi. That could also explain why Alli is crying and saying “my life is over” (because her boyfriend is leaving the school).
I don’t know if they actually WILL leave (maybe the changes will convince Mrs. Torres to get the stick out of her bum) but there may be a time where everyone truly believes that they will no longer be attending degrassi.

I agree how everyone’s disappointed with the overhype of this episode, but I still loved it. It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time, and we all called it: something else would happen. I applaud Fitz. I’m liking him more and more. And it is a great set up for part 2 of season 10. I don’t think we should diss all of this season for the over hype of all falls down. Lets be somewhat realistic here, Degrassi has had its fair share of tragedy and I’m rather happy there isn’t another one chalked up on the list. Granted someone didn’t get hurt, but it’ll turn the school upside down. Holly J and Sav are going down the tube. Eli and Clair are with issues. Jenna’s going to have issues covering up that baby bump. I’m sure they’re might be little controversy with what Adam wears… If anything I was disappointed Riley and Zane didn’t get King and King, and I was disappointed ANya and Wesley were MIA. I really wanted to see them on a date. haha. Here’s to part 2 of season in hopes that its just as great, if not better, than the first part.

TeenNick overhyping (or downright misleading) viewers in promos is nothing new, but seriously, Stephen Stohn? THAT was the episode you thought was greater and more intense than Time Stands Still or Rock This Town?!
Like Mr. Simpson with Sav, Holly J, Eli, and Claire, I trusted you. You love this show like Mr. Simpson loves that school, and when you said that this episode could give Jimmy getting shot and JT being stabbed to death a run for their money, I believed you. I put my faith wholeheartedly into watching this episode hoping to be shocked and bewildered by what would occur, but I was wrong. I was so wrong. And let me tell you, when the show comes back from break, you won’t even recognize this Degrassi fan.
PS. As an aside, I was really hoping the biggest shocker would be Alli attacking Drew’s mom for calling her a whore. Why does Adam’s character have to be connected to Drew and their mom? Things would so much more awesome if they weren’t related.

ok, i love eli and clare but judging by this episode, i seriously think that clare can do better. she sacrificed her date with eli just so the feud would end and his life would be easier and she also almost got expelled/suspended because she was helping them out. yes, she did everything by choice, but seriously, he could have had the decency to be grateful for what she has done for him. like giving him time and space about his dead ex… that was really mature of her. and she didnt ruin the relationship, he did.
oh, and alli is leaving for sometime to film her own show. so i think that its her that says “i’m leaving degrassi” or whatever at the end of the promo.

i’ve realized something that makes me significantly less disappointed by this episode (not sure whethere anyone will agree, tho.): this episode was not the boiling point. im not saying that that that title was supposed to be misleading and that something bigger is coming or anything like that. im saying that that was flat out THE WRONG NAME FOR IT. what was the right name for it? ALL FALLS DOWN. think about it: that was the perfect title for the episode. “The Boiling Point” suggests things going up and up and up and exploding. “All Falls Down” is exactly what it sounds like: all the smoke and mirrors of the season sort of came crashing down and we’re left with things just not happening. everything that was going to happening or was happening just . . . shattered and fell down, leaving us with nothing. and by nothing, i mean new rules and uniforms and what-have-you. stohn was a jerk for overhyping, and promos are always misleading, but looking at it from the writers’ perspective, i think they had the right idea. anyone agree? because looking at it that way actually made me like the episode more.

Kinda random, but the song was they used, “hotblack” by Oceanship, was amazingly perfect. You can not deny that it helped convey the feelings of anxiousness, regret, and the hundreds of other emotions running through your mind during the Eli and Fitz confrontation.
Stohn may have over-hyped it but it was NOWHERE near disappointing. No, it can not surpass the school shooting and JT’s death, but this episode was absolutely fantastic. It took it there without neither being over-the-top nor overly dramatic. The acting was on point and the feelings were there to the point where i cried the second time i watched it. Definitely in the Top 5 in DTNG history. Honestly, Degrassi could have never pulled this off in the past.

True. I felt kind of bad after watching it and being like, so there’s no rape or stabbing? Someone getting hurt does not make a good episode. And that’s a pretty sadistic way to feel when you think about it. I guess if it bleeds, it leads… I think had to collect my thoughts after I watched it and I’m glad I did. Definitely made me a little more pissed off at Clare and Eli. I know Clare thought she was doing the right thing all along, but she should have went straight to Snake.
I am so looking forward to October, though. I’m really interested in seeing how the Fiona/Bobby situation pans out and who wants to leave Degrassi.

First off WTF was that? i thought it was a joke at first and then the real episode would come on after, but then reality set in THAT WAS IT. THE BIG BOILING POINT??? If this was some regular episode it wouldnt have been bad, seeing as it did set the marks for fall season, but the point is it wasnt supposed to be a regular episode. They made so much hype and build-up to be let down. I dont see how that topped jimmy getting shot and jt getting stabbed? This episode was set up to have so much potential to be one of the greatest, to GO THERE like degrasi has in the past. but no, just a knife in the wall and a rape tease. And I knew it would be from the jump…But this episode was actually very strong, and people comparing it to the JT getting killed?…you do remember that, that whole episode in itself was the randomest thing every, YES I know he was leaving the show for college ….BUT it was like blahh….The acting was great, from everyone! And like someone said before I think the whole point of this episode was not to “SHOCK US WITH STABBING, RAPING, & ALL OUT RANDOM FOOLISHNESS” which btw would have totally pissed me off because it would have been rushed nonsense, it was about everything hitting rock bottom! If people would stop whining about how much they wanted to see Alli getting “gangraped” and Eli getting “gutted” they would actually see the point of the episode.

Um, yeah. This episode was def. not better than JT/Rick’s and Jimmy getting shot, but its was a good episode nonetheless It definetly was overhyped though. The way they were going on about how intense and changing it would be, I was thinking someone would die or get seriously injured. Yeah, they should work on making their promos less…deceiving lol. The only parts of this ep where I was shocked was when Fitz “stabbed” Eli, and when Drew’s mom called Alli a whore, i kinda laughed at that. But Season 10 part 2 looks pretty good though, great buildup at least ! Who else thinks Alli might leave? And wth is up with Clare…and Dave?…man at least the other half of the season is gonna be pretty good.

I know that most people were disapointed in this episode, but after I thought about everything that happened, I actually liked it. I really wasn’t expecting the knife scene to be just a prank by Fitz and I thought the scene had a lot of suspense. (and good backround music :) Even though Fitz is a bully, I don’t think he would actually stab anyone. Also everyones acting was really good. I just wish it was an hour long because 30 minutes made it feel rushed.

Okay, so when I first finished All Falls Down part two I could not stop screaming “BS!” at the TV. Now after calming down from my disappointment, watching the ep. again, this time right after watching part one, I find myself liking the episode more and more by the minute.
No, no-one was stabbed; no-one was raped; no-one died. I’ll fully admit that at first I too was incensed by this (after the KC/Coach thing I got really pissed about what I perceive as Degrassi-cop-outs), however the more I think about what they did, the more I honestly love the episode.
Lots of people are saying that the Fitz/Eli thing was virtually nothing at the end, but, to be frank, I think that having any-one actually get injured in that situation would have negated a lot of the emotional impact. And, really, what Fitz did to Eli is almost worse than actually stabbing him would have been. Eli obviously needs to be in control. His entire persona revolves around making sure that he is the one with the power. Thus, what occurred is far more psychologically striking to the character than any of the tangible blows so many seem to wish he had received. Eli had ever bit of security and control ripped from him in one fell swoop, and in front of his girlfriend no less. That is, as far as I’m concerned, truly ingenious.
One of the other things I love about this episode is that it was actually very funny. And infuriating. And suspenseful. All Falls Down (part two) is like this one big emotional roller-coaster, and I like that. Sometimes focusing on the intangible makes things all the better.
All in all, I totally understand why everyone’s so upset, but really we shouldn’t take that out on the episode itself, nor on the entire first half. So much has improved from seasons past that I don’t see how anyone can possibly let their disappointment negate the pure awesomeness that has been so much of this season so far. Can’t wait till Degrassi returns! Should be interesting. :)
(p.s. I know everyone’s pissed at Stephen Stohn, but hey it was only his opinion right? I can’t really fault the guy I don’t think….and one last thing. Towards the end of the episode when I was hoping they’d pull a last minute shocker I was really into after Drew’s mom says for him to go find Adam in the last minute Drew comes back to her and is like “I can’t find him” and THAT’s how it ends. lol. Nevertheless, totally loved this!) XD

Taking time off from filming Degrassi to film another show doesn’t mean shes just filming her other show while they are in India. She said she wont be gone for to long which means Ali will be missing from Degrassi for a time being (whether she is temporarily written off and its her saying shes leaving or if she just disappears for a few episodes like she already has).

I expected a little more, but the sad thing was I was expecting the worst- a rape, a stabbing, etc. None of that happened and although I felt a little letdown with the lack of drama… Jack is right- the boiling point is what happens just before the actual drama goes down. I’m pumped.
And Mama Torres needs to back off of Alli. I get that she wants to be all protective of her sons, but she needs to watch it when it comes to other people’s kids. I’d like to see Mr. Bhandari and Mrs. Torres go head to head.

My idea is that this episode would have been better if it had not been hyped up so much. We all expected all this amazing shit to go down but in the end it was sort of a practical joke on us. We wanted an amazing episode to top off the boiling point. However if it weren’t hyped the episode would have been decent and it wasnt the worse finale in degrassi history but it wasnt the best by far. Overalll i thought the boiling point was good and if this episode was amazing it would have been great but since it was only mediocre it didnt reach that. But I still think that the boiling point was good, it had its weak storylines and it had its good ones MBIAC for example. And it was also a good setup for what is to come in the fall. Maybe this episode was used soley for setup purposes, to get us ready for the fall and see the new changes coming to degrassi community school.

Something I didn’t understand about the promo and a plot I’m excited about is why exactly Clare is changing her style for Eli? That… that just doesn’t make any sense, but thenagain in the promo you hear Clare yell “I DON’T KNOW WHO I AM!” It’s just, Eli already likes Clare for who she is, or else we wouldn’t have seen them at all in the 1st half of the season, but I wonder what ticks Clare off that has her question everything.

You know what these episodes made me think? I felt like I missed the earlier crew–manny, emma, spinner and them. These folks don’t get me excited at all.
And I feel like, this show was way edgier before. Folks were gettin shot, killed, going insane, everybody was knocked up–THAT was good TV.
The best thing about this season was Adam and honestly, since the news leaked before the show premiered, that was a let down too.
I’m feeling a little ‘meh’ about it all, but I’ll still be watching in October.

hmmmm where to start, i actually really loved how intense the episode was, and it didnt need to hurt anybody physically because i know that after this episode many people were emotionally traumatized(especially Eli) I honestly wished that at least one of the storylines was pushed to the point where we would fall off our chair and not just go to the edge of our seat.
In regards of the new season… I think that somebody will definitely try to protest the new school rules because of how strict they have become. I dont think tat dave would actually hurt anybody with any actual weapons and that they are most likely trying to freak us out. I am also pretty sure that Jenna will keep the baby and it would be interesting if she sues K.C. to get child support because even if he doesn’t want to be involved he would still have to pay for the child.
The girl standing at the lockers with Eli was definitely Clare, and i think that she is protesting the uniforms or something along those lines because she doesn’t seam like the type that would change herself for a guy.
And Lastly, Mrs. Toress is the most annoying Adult that we have ever had on the show and, is she adams mom or drews biologically because they all have the same last name u can’t tell.

I hate being negative about Degrassi :( that’s why I waited until now to post my feelings. I wanted to let it sink in.
This was NOT the worst episode in Degrassi history. It is better than probably anything in seasons 8-9. However this was not the biggest event in Degrassi history.
It was very intense and was really building up. More than Time Stands Still and of course Rock This Town (which seemed like a normal episode until JT was stabbed towards the end).
However nothing major actually happened. I kept thinking they would surprise but there was no surprise other than that everyone was fine.
This episode would have been better if it was an hour and we had some sort of cliffhanger in part one. This episode was very rushed.
This looks like a good season of Degrassi. But I feel very let down and misled. I’m almost embarrassed about how excited I was for All Falls Down.
But maybe eventually I’ll appreciate the episode more. It was not a bad episode if you forget the hype.
But honestly I’m trying not to get overly excited about Degrassi anymore. I’m lowering the bar a bit and maybe I’ll be more excited when stuff happens. But Degrassi is gonna have to win me back a little after this one.

I have to say that Eli is definitely my least favorite character on Degrassi season 10. Clare totally should have been with Fitz… Eli is so boring, jealous, and hypocritical. Fitzy will have his revenge! :)

so first time i watch it, i was like this is fucking bullshit, and i was soooo pissed off. but then i watched it a second time and was like this is actually really good. it was suspensfull and interesting and the scene with holly j and sav was really hot. and it did change degrassi forever. cant wait for october

I thought this episode was good, But it didn’t live up to it’s expectations. I started crying when I thought Eli got stabbed though, That part was intense. When Drew’s mom told Drew to get Adam, I had a feeling that Adam would be missing and Drew would of been like “Guys, I can’t find Adam!” and the episode would end. That would of been an amazing cliff hanger. But the preview was awesome, Happy to see Declan returning, Even if it’s for one episode. :o)

I’m a bit late on this and I’ve been kind of lerking around here before I posted lol.
The Half-Season finale was definitely very interesting. I was practically on edge the whole time thinking something BIG was going to happen but of course…it didn’t. Hell, I even teared up when Eli was actually trying to reason with Fitz when he realized he had a knife and Clare was getting super upset about the whole thing and of course the ‘stab’ but then he was fine and I felt bad for Alli even though she has started to annoy me this season with her whole wanting to be popular bit. Though it was very disappointing that nothing happened, I think the big thing of the episode was that Mr. Simpson was not going to take anymore crap and finally reached HIS Boiling Point and now things are going to change big time. I feel that the finale was just mearly a set up for the changes in the 2nd half of the season. The thing I wonder now is that are they going to be in uniforms for good or is something going to happen that may turn things back to normal? I guess we’ll find out this Fall…ugh I don’t know if I can wait!
