Fiona has been seeing a therapist to deal with the trauma of Bobby’s abuse, but overwhelmed with anxiety she turns to the next best thing – champagne. Riley is ready to make his relationship with Zane public but when a university football recruiter shows interest, Riley starts having second thoughts. When Eli cancels guy’s night with Adam to hang out with Clare, Adam makes a new friend, Fitz. But after a humiliating incident Adam is ready to take on Fitz and the bullies all by himself.

True. But then again you have to remember that these are only teens 14-17 (Some 18) and they can’t legally buy it so they get what they can. And usually the parents have champagne or wine already in the house.

i disagree a lil with dtng. these days, alcohol is very accessible. and my house has more beer than there is wine, and we dont own champagne. same goes for my friends. beer is everywhere. and in the liquor cabinet, there is always something more substantial then champagne.
reesa, i think the only reason we have champagne is because fiona is just rich. but i do agree that the wine addiction is overplayed. theyre probably saving the hard stuff for a future abusive parents storyline.

Guys the champagne goes with her family’s stereotype. Yes, harder stuff could do more damage, but it Fiona’s apartment. I doubt her mom would stash a whole wet bar in her daughter’s apartment. I also doubt that their family has cases of bud light in their refrigerators. I am thinking that that bottle could have have been left over from when she moved into the new place and it was used to celebrate. Traditional champagne glasses are slender. Fiona’s mother probably let her have a glass and the bottle was left there absent-mindedly.

Completely agree. She didn’t even go over the instructions with her patient. I work in a Pharmacy and it bothers me when people take a medication and have no basic concept of what it is. Of course the blame is not completely their own, the physician should explain to them what they are prescribing.
Did anyone catch the name of the medication?? It looked like Alprazolam which is the generic name for Xanax, but I didn’t get a good look at it.

Well Drew never had anything against Riley, he just saw blackmail material, and he took it PLAIN AND SIMPLE, in my opinion I don’t think Drew was even going to “out” Riley it was just something to bluff him with. Obviously he’s not homophobic in any sense because of his brother Adam.

I thought this particular episode was really good. When Riley found out he was outed online, his reaction was just perfect. I also liked how Drew helped Riley get the team together.
Fiona’s storyline was definitely one of the best this season. Her whole “Medicine shouldn’t be used to help my mind” mantra is typical of a lot of people, who think somehow the brain can’t have medical problems. Her turn to alcohol was hinted at earlier. The outift she wore to the pitch for the dance was LOL. I can’t wait for the next episode.

He was a jerk the entire episode. But in his defense, when he said that he was saying it the way he would have said it to ANY of his guy friends; it was only AFTER he said it that he realized it had a different meaning to Adam. And also in his defense, despite what Adam said to him, he never stopped trying to make up with him.
But besides that, he was a jerk who refused to see how lonely Adam is, and kept ditching him for alone time with a girl who is clearly understanding enough to get “guys’ night.” Basically, Eli and Adam were BOTH idiots in this episode – and they each had moments where the viewer could relate with them. But they’d better make up next episode, or else.

also I think this was seriously the first episode if the entire season that did not include Wesley, Dave or Connor in some way, shape or form. THANK GOD. I’m sorry it was just getting so played out. Wesleys plot last week though was actually enjoyable though.

Man, you guys go back to school late…..My school here in Alabama started back on the 9th.
Anyway, I thought this episode was meh. The best part of the episode was the c-plot. I hope AFD is as awesome. If no one dies, or is just another person being seriously injured, what makes it so much better than TSS & RTT. I think it is just a bunch of events that we’ve already seen, all happening in one episode:
Eli gets stabbed, but recovers.
Alli is raped.
Alli finds out about Drew & Bianca.
Drew accidentally locks him and Bianca in the boiler room, and it is extremely hot in there, endangering both their lives.
Something else happens, perhaps a student being held hostage by another student?
Tjose were in no particular order. I seriously think that AFD is being overly-hyped. I hope I’m proven wrong.

I thought this episode was good, I’m getting mad reading the comment about this season was intense or hyped up. I thought this season was the best one and even better than the very old ones. So if your just going talk shit about this show. Get off this site because this is only for fans. :)

I mean if you did actually read the comment you would have seen that I said “I liked this episode”. Second of all tell me some things that were actually stand out moments or memorable in this season that can compare to the past seasons? Eli killed his girlfriend! That was great! … until we found out that all that happened was they got in a fight and she got hit by a car. Fiona getting abused, that was great! It only lasted 2 episodes and happened once in each episode. Name something else besides the transgender storyline that stands out this season?

Much better acting from who? Who was bad in the first place? The actors who played Manny, Emma, Spinner etc. (I’m not going to list all of them) were perfect actors. I don’t see how Jessica (Jenna), Argiris Karras (Riley) or Judy (Leia) are good actors. Almost every character getting a storyline well yea, that’s something they use to do and should do, if they didn’t base season 9 around Declan and Holly J they could have easily done that. And what better storylines? Rileys storyline has been the same for 3 years, we have another pregnancy from the most hated character on the show, (a great tran storyline) I like the bullying but it’s not that intense :( , Drew and Alli, Holly J and Sav, Clare and Eli, those are all relationships … The abuse is clearly nothing compared to Terri and Rick. What storyline are you going to remember from this season in a few years, I mean I love this show but honestly, what has been that great about it? If you want to, give me thumbs down but seriously answer the question, what storyline is so fantastic besides the transgender?

you’re complaining about storylines this season not lasting long, but how many storylines lasted for more than 2 episodes in earlier seasons? i’ve watched every episode of degrassi multiple times and honestly, not many storylines ever stick out, but i still love it, and i love this season. it doesn’t necessarily have to be storylines that stand out to make this season better, but like someone else said, the continuity really makes a difference. plus the acting IS better (even if you think the actors of seasons past are gods, you have to admit things have improved since the last 2 seasons), even if sometimes it’s just that the actor has finally learned to just have fun with the character (sav).. others will never improve (kc)…

These kids are still in the new phase (IMO) most of these actors have only been on the show 2 seasons max (excluding most of the senior class, Snake, and Clare) so for you to make that “observation” I think is very moronic, but oh well…

Well when you say oh the storyline are better and don’t give any examples or respond to my post about how the storylines this season are better, it would be nice to give an example… Season 1 and 2 were the first seasons back when the show (TNG) first aired. They were only in 7th grade where the characters now are in 10th grade, a few years older. But still Manny and Emma as young kids acted better then Jenna or Riley do as teenagers. ‘Leia’ and ‘Riley’ have been on it for 3 seasons and ‘Jenna’ has only been on for 2 seasons but their acting doesn’t convince me at all. I know the older characters have been on it way longer. It’s not as much the acting as the characters themselves, I like the characters except Leia, Riley and Jenna.

I’m talking about the actors from earlier seasons, when I mentioned Sav, he is only from season 7. In my opinion Ray Ablack is no where as good as an actor as Sam Earle. I’m not trying to get someone to agree with me I’m trying to get someone to list something this season that’s actually memorable besides the transgender storyline but no one seems to be able to do that. I think Darcy’s rape and her going crazy is a great storyline that is memorable to me. Nothing this season besides the transgender is. I mean I don’t understand how people are saying “IF YOU DON’T LIKE THE SHOW LEAVE” I never said I don’t like the show, I’ve been to this blog longer then a lot of you. Degrassi is my favorite show and if I am upset or not liking episodes, I have the right to post my opinion and I know a lot of people disagree with me and a lot of people actually do agree with me.

I’m definitely not a stan….I’ve *facepalmed* millions of times (and even stopped watching all together in season 7)….but this season is def. better than previous seasons (esp. season 5,6, the end of season 7, & 8) atleast a good portion of season 9 was “watchable”. I in no sense “worship” the show….I just think that if you feel the show is soooooo “awful” it’s time to move on to the next show…

Tonights episode was another great 1! I can’t believe Adam is actually believing fitz is his friend!! For the first time and I can’t believe I’m saying this but I wanted to slap Adam for being an ass to Eli at the part where Adam sits at the lunch table with fitz then just like mimics what Eli just said man I wonder how fitz is gonna humiliate Adam but I have a feeling it’s all leading up to the idea that fitz wants to take Clare to the dance like it’s all part of his plan….

I don’t think Eli’s comment about ‘Stop being such a girl’ is bad I mean, take it into concept, if a guy throws a ball suckishly and a guy says you throw like a girl, the boy would really feel that bad. but even though this is more serious, and the fact that adams still sensitive about the whole girl thing, maybe Eli genuily excepted Adam as a boy and the way Adam was acting ( Even though he had his reason cause Eli left him again) Made Eli say that, He should nt of reacted THAT bad to go back to fitz, but then again, its Degrassi, you can’t make up in pt.1 so easily, we needs drama xD.

I really liked all the storylines in this episode, and I honestly wasn’t expecting to love Fiona’s plot, but it was great! It’s cool how we can tie all the abuse and overwhelming emotions that overtook Fiona at the beginning of the season to understand how she is feeling now, and how’s she’s still broken.
I really hope Riley fully comes out once and for all though, because I’m kinda tired of the in-out-in-out thing with him. Even though I know it’s hard coming out, it’s frustrating watching him go through it, cause I just want him & Zane together already!

Terri/Rick’s storyline went for more than like half an episode, Terri actually got hurt, she was put in a comma not just a little bruise, she actually feared Rick unlike Fiona who kept going back to Bobby, Terri’s friends stuck up for her, Rick was bullied to death, literally. Bobby hasn’t been seen besides the video in the episode. There hasn’t been a court case … yet.

Exactly Sarah.. Rick sought Terri out it wasn’t like they were just put together like Fiona/Bobby were. There are total differences between Rick/Terri and Fiona/Bobby. Terri also got hurt on multiple occasions more than Fiona was.

I disagree about Terri/Rick. Honestly, that storyline was corny; at times laughable. And it didn’t go on much longer than Fiona’s. Terri was put in a coma and never heard of again. You say that Terri’s plot was better because she got seriously hurt and really feared Rick. But I don’t think that’s what makes a story. The story was never about Terri, it was just about intensity and making sure they covered an abusive relationship.
I’m not going to say Fiona’s story wasn’t sloppy- it definitely was. But the thing that makes it better is that Fiona isn’t defined by being abused. She’s unstable, lonely and insecure. And that’s been going on all season; it didn’t end when she ran away from Bobby and it didn’t start with him either.
I actually think the worst part of those episodes was when Bobby threw Fiona down the stairs. It was unrealistic, and he still would have been a horrible boyfriend otherwise. Only for shock value.

I’m going to reply to your other criticisms on Season 10 here, because I want my comments in the same place. :P
You keep saying that nothing memorable has happened this season except for one episode. I find it funny that you list season 7 as one of your favorites. There were two fantastic storylines that season- and the rest was complete crap.
Anyways, what has actually made season great for me is the b-plots and c-plots. I loved when Anya and Riley fought over the doctor, Anya found out her mom had cancer, Clare’s eye surgery, Clare and Eli becoming english partners, Fiona’s loneliness and Anya bidding on Wesley. They’re entertaining and sweet, and they make the episodes more fun and realistic. Season 10 is adding a lot more depth to the characters, and the continuity is miles ahead of what I expect for Degrassi.
The characters really are better though. My first reaction to Drew was “Oh come on, do we really need some stupid homophobic villain?” But then we see him interacting with Adam, Alli and Wesley. He actually has sides to him. Now, we’ve got that other homophobe of course, but oh well. :P
Another thing that’s helping the characters is that we’re seeing their parents and their houses. It makes them more real for me.
On top of that, the a-plots are also way better than most of what we’ve seen in seasons 7-9. No more vampire fanfiction, thank god.
I can’t argue that Jenna and Riley are bad actors, or that marco’s better than riley, jt is better than dave, manny beats alli, paige beats holly j, sean bests kc. But Wesley is better than Toby! Anya beats Hazel, and I find Clare more endearing than Emma. I don’t know who to compare Fiona to. Darcy? Yeah, she loses there, but I still like her. And we’ve never had someone much like Adam before.
The old cast is much better, but they’re long gone. Most of their characters decayed anyways (spemma?). The good thing is that newbs are finally starting to flex their muscles.

I think the thing with abusive relationships is that people equate how bad the abuse is with how big the bruises are or how hurt the victim is. Which is why I think Fiona’s case will be very tricky for her. Plus, Bobby’s the kind of guy that has everyone else fooled- everyone thinks he’s a stand up guy when he’s actually the biggest piece of crap to walk the earth.
And I have to disagree and say Fiona feared Bobby, which is why she went back to him. A lot of women who are abused become dependent on their abusers because they are so mentally/emotionally abused that they feel like there is nothing left in their life except the d-bag who hurt them.
I’m not all that familiar with the Terri-Rick storyline, but I think their depiction of Fiona’s experience (which was similar to mine) is fairly accurate. I just hope if/when they show the court hearings they do it some justice.
Oh, and Fiona’s therapist needs to be fired. Who the hell prescribes something and doesn’t go in depth about it with their patient?

We saw rick/terri interaction in 2 episodes that was it. With fiona no one believed her she had no friends abusive boyfriend and a family who didn’t trust her while hazel found it out from terri imo fiona/bobby beats terri/rick. And how terri was put in a coma was a little weak I mean it can happen but unlikely fiona was more likely to be put in a coma. And after that incident terri did nothing to make sure rick learned his lesson while fiona did but knew she would face him again. Bu I know maybe the trial doesn’t happen but this is all my opinion lol don’t want to shove down any one`s throat.

I think it’s good that Adam and Eli are having a fight. Honestly, its Eli and Adam’s fight right now that gives me hope that they’re gonna be friends for life. Adam and Eli’s friendship is not superficial, and I’m pretty positive the two will stay friends. Eli needs to stop hanging out with his hoe all the time, and Adam needs to realize that sometimes you gotta hang out with yo hoe. They’ll figure out the balance.

This might be kind of random, but I really enjoyed the fact that Fitz was acting nice to Adam, and for some weird reason I had an idea for a split-second that in the promo when you saw the guy with the knife saying “you’re dead” that it was Eli trying to kill Adam for going to far with he emo jokes. lol

This episode for me was like an emotional rollercoaster.
Fiona kept making me say” Oh geez, whats she gonna do now” and thats good because her character is spontaneous. But I also think shes hurting and doesnt want to relive the trauma she went through, yeah she didnt get a coma like Terri but it still truly left a mark on her and it seems like therapy isnt helping.
Eli and Adams plot was realistic and made me think all types of things. When Eli said “Don’t be such a girl” by that I think he meant dont be overly sensitive. ( cuz girls are stereotyped as that) I dont think he realized that it had a different meaning to Adam. Also Adam making emo jokes with Fitz -not cool. They both said hurtful things. And at the end of the episode we are left wondering if we can really choose a side on the situation.
I was so proud that Riley came out! I was just like “Finally, my prayers have been answered, hopefully Riley gets a different plotline now!”

Why even log on if you know your just pissing people off with your radical opinions like Season 10 sucks way more than season 2-7?(which can be fought because season 10 added many things Degrassi should of had and Many actors stepped their game up and developed in ways we never thought if they were introduced back in the older seasons like Drew)

I hace a speculation about this. What if she does stand in front of Eli to protect him, and then Fitz pushes her against the lockers. Hence the scene of Clare crying near the lockers. And this gives Fitz the chance to get closer to Eli, while Clare hopefully runs for help.

I’ve watched Degrassi TNG since the beginning & this season is definitely one of the best. The storylines are being developed really well, the writing is great, and the character interactions are refreshing. I love how more of the characters intermingle with each other as their storylines intertwine and come together. I’ve really been enjoying The Boiling Point. That is all.

1) KC and Jenna had only has sec once without protection and that was NOT when she became pregnant
2) Her Brother mentions that her mom is not his mom. I do not understand why they would have that fact. I think it is forshadowing that they are not blood related.
3) He said that they were in this together, and they way he acted when he found out she was pregnant was not at all in a protective brother way. I know many big brothers, and I think they’d KILL the guy who got their sisters pregnant.

I know they’ve had sex before. What I am saying is that they’ve only had sex once un-protected. And the one time they did wasn’t the time she became impregnated. I know this because when she went to the doctor she was suprised when she said the baby was concieved 21 weeks ago, because she thought it had been later. I do not think that it’s just that the condom broke because i think they would’ve gone more into detail if that were the case.
Also, they NEVER said if he was her half brother etc. it could be that he is her step brother etc.

Seriously? That’s preposterous. The only thing even remotely sketchy about the plot is her pregnancy test coming out positive when she’s 5 months pregnant. In reality, she most likely would have gotten a false negative because home pregnancy tests measure a certain hormone that is produced during the first two months.
And even if it was just once that they had unprotected sex (according to you, it couldn’t have happened then), since birth control isn’t 100% effective, it’s possible she could have been impregnated even though they were being safe.

@Jenna, She never used a condom, if you were paying attention, she said she didn’t use her birth control once. They had sex many times before, they just never showed them doing it. It was made clear that they had sex more than once, but the time that she got pregnant, she didn’t use her birth control. She was surprised that the baby was 5 months along because that’s a long time, and she was shocked that she didn’t know sooner (5 months is a LONG time to be carrying a baby)
She told KC that one of the times they had sex, she didn’t use the pill, making that the cause of her pregnancy. And she DID say he was her half brother, she has A LOT of half brothers. Her mom never got “re-married” if she left Jenna a long time ago, and he made it clear that they had the same father, so it’s either her biological, or half brother.

Am I the only one who thinks Adam is kinda of acting like a girl in this episode? I mean I understand that he’s upset about Eli bailing on him for Clare (repeatedly), but it seems like he is overreacting. However I am most interested in his plot in this episode, I wonder how he and Fitz will play out. Other plots were solid too. Can’t wait for part 2.

i don’t know why, but i’ve seen some people blame clare for this, LOL! poor girl, what does she have the fault on? she probably didn’t even know.. and some people are saying eli’s also being whipped, and i disagree. it looks like he wants to spend time with her and i think clare would of understood.. but eli didn’t bother telling her anything, from what i’m guessing. and i really didn’t like it how she didn’t even have a single line either. xDDD

overall very solid 2parter .
Fiona is so adorable & crazy, I loved her in the episode(s) but im kinda mad she told her mom she didn’t do it :( , the last scence with the close up of her being drunk made me LOL she looked so adorable & holly j is the voice of reason(: over all good plot & lmao & I WISHED that Adam woulda knocked Bianca, that would of been the funniest thing in the world, Payback was right there & he decided not too accept:(, but it was for a good reason anyway.

Amazing episode hope to see the trial against bobby in 2nd half of season 10. Fiona`s plot was really good deserves an a and so does fitz/adam/eli plot. Riley/zane was a little boring though. Lol loved claire`s stink bomb and bianca wow she’s going to get some more hate from people for her part in this episode but her and fitz did their part perfectly. Tomorow`s promo looks awesome is claire actually considering going out with fitz?

i know ill get thumbs downed but i didn’t enjoy this episode very much. The only part that i could watch and enjoy was Riley’s but other than that
Fiona: Just dragged on about how taking prescribed pills was worse than showing up drunk half th episode. I get that its hard to deal with the pain of rembering it but half the episode i just wanted her to take the pills and kick bobby’s ass. And it was funny how more people would think shes crazy if she sleeps on a table but couldnt take medication.
Adam: I loved Adam but this plot wasnt the best thing they could have done for the character. First he makes the mistake of hanging out with fitz. I mean the dude helped owen throw you into a door. Then he just fights fitz and i dont know. the whole ending seemed like a mess. clair set off a stink bomb or something then they ran away. Im not sure if it was meant to be alead in to All falls down but it just dissapointed me.
Riley:I liked this plot and i like that in the end he embraced being gay and it was a great to see him finaly out and loving zane withought any type of shame. Its like the two Rileys came together as one and i loved the ending.
I know you guys probably disagree but its just my opinion. the episode was okay but nothing special.

Wow, what a great episode of epic proportions! I loved all 3 plots. Definitely a step up from yesterday’s, which was a bit mediocre but still ok. This was a great episode. By the way, I don’t think I’ve interacted at my TV this much for an episode in a long time.
Adam always gets the best background music. When that song played when Fitz came from behind the school bus and the fight was about to begin, all I could yell was “KICK SOME ASS ADAM!!!!!!!” I really like the way the plot ended, as it ended with Eli and Adam on good terms, but it ended on a really light note. With the music in the background, Fitz punched in the balls, a stink bomb in the school to distract from the fight, it ended in a very light-hearted and funny way.
Fitz was stupid, but in a way I did get this vibe that he was “at first” genuinely trying to be friends with Adam. Or maybe that’s just the bully poker face.
I was very concerned by the Riley plot. I couldn’t help but think, oh not this Ziley wish wash relationship again. But I’m happy the way they took this plot. It wasn’t so annoying, and kind of funny. “What is he doing today?” “He was assassinated.” I know that that probably wasn’t supposed to be a funny scene, but I laughed anyway at the look of Riley’s face. First step, the school. Next step, his mom. Riley was likable in this episode.
Last but not least, the Fiona plot. It was definitely better than part 1, but that’s just cause it was the build up. Fiona is such a funny drunk. But in the end, I’m really happy she got herself together. I really like the Holly J/Fiona friendship. It’s good to see friendships in the episode, Eli/Adam, Holly J/Fiona. I really hope Fiona wins this fight. I kind of hope the next time the Bobby issue is addressed, Declan is involved because I would like to see him.
On a side note. I hope the next person Adam punches in the eye is Bianca. I could care less about double standards and the fact that Adam as a guy would be seen as “abusive” punching Bianca. Just do it Adam.

I was more dissapointed in these two episodes than I’ve been throughout the whole Boiling Point. They seemed bland – the Teennick promo gave it all away. I wanted Fiona to freak out more (like, Darcy style) and the Adam/Fitz/Eli drama to be more intense (I wasn’t interested/convinced AT ALL- and I’m not that picky). However, I did enjoy that Riley FINALLY came out – all the back and forth has finally ended and they can stop using him as a filler now.

Another good episode but what was the point of Clare setting of the stink bomb. It would have been good if it was earlier and people actually saw the fighting. Honestly that part could have been good but they way they did it was pointless. Also, who leaves a school because of a stink bomb, if it was because of the smoke that makes sense but maybe it’s just that they are a loud to leave the school at any time they want. Also how do the students not get called down when their parents are there. When the parents come to the school they always just seem to wonder around the school and find their kid themselves haha.

I think the stink bomb was to distract so that Adam and Eli could run away before people actually saw the fight. Cause the fight was still on the school grounds in front of it, so they can’t get caught.

Wait. I’m confused by what the question is asking. They didn’t like leave the school and go home, they evacuated cause of the smell and the smoke. I’m pretty sure after they got it out they continued to take the tests, or at least it got rescheduled.
If you’re talking about Eli and Adam leaving the school, they probably didn’t have the same exam as they did so they left home.

i think it was to stop Adam from fighting Fitz and vise versa. If they evacuated the school and a teacher would of come out then Adam and Fitz would of stopped the fight as to not get caught. But Adam was able to get some good hits still. But If they wouldn’t have made everyone go out then I don’t think the fight would of stopped there.

I don’t like watching promos in the first place so it doesn’t ruin what’s going to happen in the episode so I’m glad it didn’t give much away BUT if I was just a regular fan who didn’t know that AFD was suppose to be amazing the promo wouldn’t interest me as much. I know it’s only part 1 and part 2 is probably the huge episode but I think as an episode that’s suppose to be a huge deal that they should have made part 1 just as intense but we don’t know yet, we’ll see tomorrow!

Hey Guys. I thought the episode was okay. I am glad Riley is finally out of the closet for good. There seems to be so much drama about which seasons were better. I think season 10 is great, but I have to agree that seasons 1-5 were awesome, and I continue to watch them over and over again without getting tired of them, somthing I can’t say about season 10. I am old as all hell, 33, and probably too old to watch this show, but it has a crack-like addictive quality, and I just can’t help myself.
I don’t know what is going to happen on AFD, but I am excited about it. I do enjoy this blog, but the childish drama is a bit much. We are all entitled to our opinions here, and I wish everyone respected each other’s opinion.
Anyone else get so excited to see Adam punch Fitz in the stomach? It made my day. I think Jordan Todosey is doing a great job on the show. And the acting is just okay for me as far as watching the new people. These are just my opinions.

i loved fiona’s plot! i may just be biased, because fiona is my favorite character, but i thought that the alcohol was very realistic and the flow of events made sense. as her stress builds and builds as the deposition comes closer, fiona drinks more and more and eventually cracks (saying she made it up because she’s crazy). her whole situation of being stressed about confronting bobby reminded of something that, not i, but my sister might do. my family is in a court case against my father, and i long ago got over the stress of it, but my sister (who’s actually older than me; she’s 16) completely freaks out at the thought of it. she threatened to suicide if anyone made her see our dad. so i could completely imagine her acting exactly like fiona in that type of situation. my only complaint about the fiona plot is that i kind of wish that more things had happened. maybe it’s just because i love fiona and she could just have constant plots, but i wanted there to be more significant events.
the riley plot just made me all happy inside that he finally came out. and i was glad chantay got a line.
adam and eli were both being idiots. but since so many people have talked about this (and i agree that eli meant nothing by his “stop being such a girl” comment and that he should have rescheduled with clare, and that adam overreacted), im going to bring up something different: fitz. i honestly dont think he was purposefully being mean to adam. i originally thought he just saw that adam was weak without eli and saw an opportunity to bully him, but when he humiliated adam by trying to get him to spar with bianca, i thought he was being pretty authentic. i think he honestly couldnt imagine sparring with someone who he considered a girl (say what you want, but sparring WOULD work differently because of adam’s body), and tried to find a way for adam to still be in fight club. also, does anyone else think that fitz’s acting is TERRIBLE? his voice is completely monotonous.

I think he’s good. He hasn’t had a big enough plot or enough lines or me to really judge that but he’s playing the role of a bully, he could care less about school or the people around him so he’s not gonna be very cheery. Compared to other worse characters Jenna, Riley and even Sav.

So tonight’s episode was, IMO, a hundred times better than last night’s. I loved how Eli and Clare never stopped trying to help Adam, and how they succeeded in the end. I also loved how Fitz was his own undoing in two different ways: 1.) By teaching Adam how to fight, and 2.) By kneeing Eli earlier, thus giving Adam the idea. Good job, Fitz. :P
I also loved Riley’s plot, for the first time in a long time. I thought his final hesitation was very realistic (although the fact that he was so shocked at the concept of known homosexuals being ostracized was rather less so). And his decision at the end to just go with his dreams, and to be himself, actually made me cheer out loud. I loved his little kiss with Zane. So sweet. <3
And Fiona's plot, though it bored me yesterday, was much more entertaining tonight. I loved how Holly J was the one to get through to her. Their friendship often felt superficial in the past, but it was given a lot of depth here. <3 I'm glad Fiona was able to get over her demons and do what was right – both for others, and for her own self.

There is purpose behinds Clare’s “I’m not sure” She doesnt sound confused like she is not sure what to do. You would think that if she would be confused its for a good reason her and Eli have come this far and i can’t really see her liking Fitz so I think we’re safe in that regarde.
She sounds kind of pissed actually like Eli said something stupid or hurtful, it could be something totally unrelated.Guess we will just wait and see.

How did Eli’s girlfriend get hit by a car riding her bike home if she was in Eli’s car. How did she get her bike? And do you think its a coincidence that Clare rides a bike now?

I think Eli’s ex girlfriend was at Eli’s house and then she rode off in her bike. Eli drove to the spot where she got hit by the car. The reason that Clare had the bike IMO is so there was a way to ride to Eli’s house to confront him. It avoided the questions of “how did you get here?” i think it was a coincidence that Clare also rides a bike.

Fitz pulls a knife on Eli.
They have a struggle and Fitz is stabbed in self-defense.
Fitz is carried away in a stretcher after the police are called, he was stabbed in below is left shoulder, and he survives.
Holly J and Sav are caught having sex in the school when the police arrive.
Bianca locks herself, Alli and Owen in the boiler room (she’s hiding in the closet).
Bianca and Owen chase Alli through the basement after she disses them; Bianca shoves Alli into some pipe thing on the wall and she goes unconscious.
Alli’s in a coma.
Fitz gets stabbed.
Sav and Holly J are caught having sex by the police and Simpson during the dance.
The Bianca-sexting-Drew thing is a set up for part two. Alli finds out prints the pictures and hands them out during the dance. Bianca uses Owen to get revenge on Alli.
The End.

Hopefully, Alli will wake up with a brain after the Coma.
While it’s plausible, it would be rather lame(no pun intended).
In addition, that doesn’t solve the cat fight in the begining of next season.
Unless they are really going to have Alli awake from a coma and immediately get into a fist fight.

Does anyone think that Eli was lying to Clare when he said “we got in a fight, she left and was hit by a car” maybe he really did kill her and that was just a cover up because of Clare’s reaction? Idk it just seems that they way he said it he was lying and he is suppose to be a new and original character where the other cast said they like Eli and haven’t seen anything like him yet so I don’t think that his secret is just over like that.

It would be nice but I doubt it.
More likely is that Clare feels like Eli is leading her on again and(as usual) the prudeness factor ratches up, she overreacts and she becomes butt-hurt.
When Fitz shows an interest, she becomes a bit intrigued. As she likes the attention. But also to potentially piss Eli off.
As has been well established, Clare has a thing for the douchebags(KC, Eli, Fitz)

I’m glad to see that Rileys’ Storyline turned out way different then I had thought it would. I thought with the whole “going back in the closet thing” it was going to produce yet another whole Riley pisses off Zane and then Zane forgives him and they are good again thing which(like kary said) HAS been going on for a while and it is getting old. I’m glad to see in the end he choose that path and he finally doesn’t worry about being out. It looks like no more Zane/Riley drama they have had plenty already. I want to see them whether together or seperatly have a storyline that dosent invovle their sexuality, although it may be hard to top it. Hopefully they both get really good storylines in the future.
As for fiona’s storyline it looks like its going to continue and next we’ll see if she wins her case or not. Yay!

I really liked Purple Pills, all the plots.
Fiona is one of my favorite characters and I was glad to see more depth into her character.
The end scene for Zane and Riley was so damn cute… I squealed. My brother was like WTF!
Plus the plot with Adam/Eli/Fitz was interesting. I’m probably the only one who thinks Fitz isn’t that messed up (like Owen). The guy seems to be one of those guys who’ll drop things once the situation is settled by punching it out (I think he really enjoys fighting).
Remember when Eli gave him the fake ID and he actually stopped bothering him. Of course viewers need more drama to ensue, so Eli pranks him. Thus continuing the Feud. Plus, I think Fitz was being genuine with Adam. I don’t think Fitz can really wrap his head around the whole transgender thing and just sees Adam as a girl that dresses like a dude. I don’t know… I laughed out loud when Adam was pushing Fitz to fight back and instead, not wanting to hit a ‘girl’, he just punches Eli. At least he doesn’t hit girls or individuals who resemble girls! Unlike bobby who slapped Fiona around and Owen who threw Adam( still fragile due to female body) into a window. Of course I think when pushed to hard he can be rather unstable.IDK,I like all of Degrassi’s characters, good or bad, because they all represent a different personality and person.

@Mr. J. Payton-Brown and @Sarah, I’m 14, I started to watch Degrassi when I was nine, I’ve seen pretty much every episode. :P. And why would pretty much everyone say the All Falls Down is the best episode, most intense, if it’s being overhyped? Producers just don’t say, “OHEMGEE. LETZ LIEEEE TO OUR FOLLOWERSZ<3MWAHAA".

Was it just me or was Fitz not that mean. It seems to me he just doesn’t understand what the deal with Adam really is. But anyway Adam is starting to annoy me. I mean Fitz beats up his brother (albeit Drew started it) and he’s like Fitz could still be a cool guy. But Fitz embarrasses him once and he’s like I’m gonna beat the crap out of this guy. It just doesn’t make sense. I can’t imagine being Adam and doing what he did in this situation.

It would be epic if they play “never say never” by the fray and watch the camera zoom out at clair and eli hugging after a dramatic night. I think the song would fit perfectly there because if thats the end result and from wat we saw in the promo the lyrics “dont let me go” would fit there.

My prediction for All Falls Down PT 1+2 stabbing incident:
My guess is that when fitz walks up to eli and clare he stares at them for a few seconds and walks past them seeking revenge on ADAM i believe that adam mite be the one that aactually gets stabbed thats why they are distracting drew by keeping him in the boiler room, but my guess is that when adam gets stabbed she gets stabbed in the arm and owen sees this and goes crazy on fitz so owen and fitx start fighting and in the end owen gets stabbed and killed
