Yea they did it on purpose. They were talking about Bollywood so they played some Bollywood type music. Also, I agree that his dad is strict but Sav borrowed his dad’s car and it got damaged. Then his dad said no and Sav went out a disobeyed him to the point where his parents find their car stolen. Sav was also speeding in a car that was reported stolen so even though his dad is strict Sav kinda asked for it.

In one of the Much Music promos, its all about Adam, and Bianca says to him “Don’t touch me or I’ll kill you!” and “I’ve seen freaks like you on Oprah!” So I’m guessing its peer pressure that Adam stays Chelsea. Oh no, I get it, but their level of strictness would make me wanna defy them. I think Adam goes into the women’s. Cause in the ‘secrets’ promo, Bianca’s going in somewhere, while Adam’s walking out, and Bianca goes “what were you doing in there?” I think Jenna might be pregnant because they might of had sex when they were talking about her body, and the next day she’s eating a banana dipped in Ranch? Since Anya never actually got pregnant, it couldn’t be counted as a back-to-back storyline. They’ve done abortion, adoption, false alarm, morning after pill… I’d like to see someone get pregnant and keep the baby. Also, the look on her face when Declan shows up at The Dot? That was Holly J. All the way. Oh and get this: I’d dreamed that Danny showed up at Degrassi with a new do to have a discush with Chantay. Finally, the lines ‘thanks for covering’, ‘what was I covering?’ and ‘It’s only a matter of time before the new school scandal comes to report’ are connected to My Body Is A Cage.

Every picutre made me think. I felt so sorry for Adam when he was looking in the mirror. Nobody should have their happiness sacfraficed just to make others happy. I hope Adam stays as a boy, because they can’t just DROP a storyline that HUGE! Also, I could tell that Adam wasn’t happy looking into the photo. Does Adam have any subplots or other episodes? Adam looks more like a guy in the picture with him and Bianca. I don’t like the clothes they put on him now cuz it makes him look like a girly man. i know he’s really a she but still… to make it a LITTLE more believable. And for ppl out there who say tht there is no way tht the kids at degrassi don’t know Adam’s a girl, actually its possible. If she identifies as a guy, and she acts like a guy, no matter how feminine he looks, It’s easy to pull off. They probably notice something’s off about him, but they don’t want to be rude, or they probably saw him wearing guy clothes and realized she was a guy… or tht she’s a he.

that really hits home that you mention that, because i just graduated from high school & one of the guys who graduated with me suffered through seizures his whole high school career; he even had trouble at prom because the flashing strobe lights were bothering his epilepsy. And then he died early this july, a month after graduation. that would be a totally interesting story to cover.

Try Honesty part 1: Holly J’s job search becomes the least of her worries when she finds convicting photos of Declan with another girl (aka Tinsley). Dave, Wesley, and Connor form a band to get girls. Eli stands up to Fitz, the school bully and Clare is uneasy about what might happen to Eli!
Try Honesty Part 2: In the 200th episode, Declan offers financial help to Holly J. But when she starts to feel like a kept woman, Holly J must choose between her relationship with Declan and her self-respect. Eli comes up with a plan to put an end to Fitz’s bullying. Weasley shows Connor a new game website, and Connor becomes addicted.
YDKMN Part 1: Alli wants Drew to commit to her and give up his non-exclusivity policy. Elsewhere, Holly J. tries to get Declan off her mind by refocusing on student council, where she must compete with Sav for power

It’s starting to annoy me about the whole death card, Eli getting killed off thing. I don’t wanna put a big rumor/spoiler out there but I looked into to it a bit and I’ve read a lot that KC is going to commit suicide because apparently Jenna and Clare don’t want him. Thisbof course could just be a rumor but that’s what I’ve read.

But haven’t we the audience heard that rumor for awhile? Maybe it was a surprise when it was first said, because I don’t think anyone suspected Jenna of being the one who was going become pregnant at the beginning of the season. I also have to state that I while I believe there is a strong possibility that Jenna is pregnant with the recent clues from last night’s episode, I think it is equally possible, as pointed out in a previous post, that this may just be the writers messing with us. So I guess we will see. But I agree that Jenna seems more reasonable and less annoying than she has been in the past, and that’s a good direction to keep her going in. It probably helps that she is finally getting main storylines. Tears Dry On Their Own is definitely going to be an interesting episode to watch.

Is it just me or does it seem strange that they seem to not know she is female? Maybe it is because we already know, but to me, it seems obvious. The first promo pic is the most manly I have seen her.
Or is it that they do know, but they just treat her like one of the guys? It seems like that would be hard to do.

My friend isn’t a major fan and has no idea that Adam is originally a girl. Once we saw Sav’s episode, he thought Adam was going to be a gay character. But once he said “That’s what my ex gf said”, he thought Adam just had a high pitch voice. So the students of degrassi might think onne of these theorys.

i also don’t think anyone would readily suspect someone of being trans, since it’s not very common, and a lot of people in high school have yet to encounter it. i didn’t meet any transpeople until i went to college. so adam might look a bit young and feminine, but he would introduce himself as adam, and there wouldn’t be a good reason (yet) for anyone to assume he’s trans. it’s unexpected enough that i doubt people would question it further without more information.
also, adam is actually a bit tall (taller than bianca and the other girls, at least). and it’s awkward and rude to ask someone, “are you really a boy?” someone like fitz or owen might, of course, but in general, if other characters were suspicious, they probably wouldn’t know how to voice it.

My older brother has guiltily watched this season (Almost a decade of indoctrination has paid off! :) ) and we were talking about the episodes.
And I asked him if he liked Adam, and he wasn’t sure which one he was, so I said the one who dropped the amp. And he was like, oh yeah he’s new right?
So I kind of prodded and asked if there was anything strange about him or if he’d noticed anything but he just looked blank.
Maybe it is just completely obvious to us cause we know already? So we are playing close attention to his voice?

i really think the pregnancy was anya and sav.. idk i just feel like jenna being pregnant would just be way too obvious one, and the pregnancy skit would just be waaay to repeated two. like to the point where its not even exciting anymore especially because everyones already predicting it. just because she got over her eating disorder and ate something weird like damn. lol.
if jenna and kc did have sex i just feel like they would have shown them getting to it. like they have with most of them. i feel like mayyyybe possibly its an std but it seems a little sketchy because writers seem like after the whole kc/jenna couple happened they never brought up her “boyfriend stealing” past as they did in the season before. just her getting jealous. but we’ll see. maybe it will be something totally new and unexpected..

I understand that my next inquiry is off-topic of this current Degrassi update, but I was wondering if any of you had some interpretations/predictions of the future for Clare’s character.
I read Aislinn Paul, the actress who plays Clare, saying “read through this afternoon! i’m so excited for the prospect of clare going through some terrible emotional trauma.. weird? lol probably =P”
What do you think that suggests? Please no Eli dying! He’s my favorite character, and not just because he’s handsome, but also because we know almost nothing about him and the Degrassi writers have so many layers to uncover about him. They could go anywhere with his character, and honestly, his death is something that could be on that list.

i really doubt they would introduce a new character for the purpose of killing him off, or at least, it would be a bit stupid if they did. i do think it’s most likely that the episode involves clare questioning her religion for whatever reason, like her parents divorcing. and there is the fact that eli gets a plot degrassi has (supposedly) never covered before, and that could very well also affect clare, but i can’t for the life of me imagine what it is.
personally, i would rather clare question her religion (if she does question it) because she comes to an intelligent conclusion about it on her own, as opposed to it being because of the emotional trauma, but this is degrassi, and there needs to be drama. i guess “clare reads a lot of books and starts to question her faith” wouldn’t be all that “exciting” of a plot. i’d like if her parents’ (possible) divorce convinces her marriage is meaningless and causes her to take off the purity ring. but i don’t want it to be a purely emotional decision.
still, i won’t complain too much if it is. i just hope that whatever they do, they do it right, and that they don’t ruin clare’s character, because she is one of the best.

If I were a writer on this show, I’d turn Clare into an athiest. They’ve done a storyline about religious conversion but never loss of faith, and it’d be a really interesting angle for that character.

My friend’s parents were never married and her dad ditched her mom so she has a bitter image on marriage and abstinence too. So I could totally see that plot line. Plus Clare needs her life shaken up!

Jenna is definitely not pregnant, the promos are always way melodramatic.
I think maybe Adam made a move on Bianca, and she got pissed and says “Don’t touch me!” But, that seems kind of out of character for him; he seems the more shy sensitive type. The lockdown miiiiiight be Bianca killing/hurting Adam, but it could be anything.
I doubt Holly J and Sav are going to have any romances, it’s probably another promo-trick.
Claire’s emotional trauma is probably a divorce, or her realizing she doesn’t really believe in Jesus — or she pulls a Darcy and has sex anyway, which involves her religion. Divorce has not yet been covered in full depth yet, besides Ashley’s dad coming out/divorcing, but it focused more on him being gay rather than the divorce.
I don’t think anything too juicy will happen between Claire and Eli, I’m betting more on drama between Bianca or Adam.

Actually, I think Ryan was trying to decide weather to leave or not but when he saw the writers were writing either to kill off a character or him specifically that made his decision.
And anyways, I don’t know why everyone liked JT so much, I found him annoying. But that may just be because I just got into the show during the whole marathon thing before The Boiling Point premiered then when I saw how obnoxious he was towards…Spinner? I decided I didn’t like him….actually I hated almost every character :p
Amd I highly doubt Eli will be getting killed off, I’m just really thinking KC is going to commit suicide.

I really don’t think Eli is going to die. They say that it will change Degrassi forever, Eli is a new charactor so I don’t really think him dying would have that huge of impact, and I don’t think we know him well enough to have him die!

Part of the appeal of the show is the connection that is developed with the characters and watching them grow and they have cut all the original characters and all storylines have already been done and so I think I will just quit watching and enjoy the GOOD orginal DeGRassi and not this second rate crap.

Here’s what i think, Eli isn’t bisexual. Him and Adam have been friends most likely when the season started, so my prediction is Drew, Eli, and Claire are the only ones that accept Adam for who he really is. Finally Leia is appearing!!!!!!!!!!!! She was AWOL for the longest. Also the love and death card between Eli and Claire means that their going to fall in love and most likely Claire is going to break Eli heart (meaning the DEATH of LOVE) AND FINALLY ms. oh is Connor’s online girlfriend which she knows but he doesnt and she tries to keep him from finding out, but when he does he becomes obsessive both mentally and sexually (hinting the pull your pants up thing) Those are my predictions

Reading the descriptions for TDOTO, it almost seems that Jenna’s mistake was that she cheated on KC and got pregnant. I hope that she didnt because I actually like them together, but the way it seems is that she cheated and is worried how he will react when he finds out.
