Yeah I thought that same thing too. and With Bianca and Fitz, it looks like a possible hook up. But I am wondering if Bianca is gay/bi… If they are recreating Alex. Okay, now I really cannot wait. If you will notice, the new girl is holding a list of Degrassi Losers with Dave listed as #1. That is really sad. Why do they have to pick on poor Dave? I think he is sweet. I am totally psyched for the new season. I REALLY CANNOT WAIT. Kary mentioned something about 2 promos. We have all seen the Shark in the Water Promo. Hmm I’m wondering why we saw pics of Holly J./Declan and rumors of Sav being a major part with Holly J…..but based on these pictures alone I’m guessing Fiona-A, Dave-B, ?-B.
If Fiona does get the A plot I’m excited. Mainly because that means she’ll be heavily involved this season (Peter (9), Mia (8), Darcy (7)…Craig (2), Emma (1)). It happens every season so it’s inevitable.
I hope (and I really do believe) this wont be a one time situation (sort of like Terri’s SL), but an over season arc and I’m really exited to see what happens.

I also hope that Fiona’s abuse storyline lasts more than one episode. By the looks of it she is still in New York so I hope that they just don’t get her out the the abusive relationship by sending her back to Canada cause that would be a MAJOR copout, unless he comes to Degrassi looking for her.

He’s referring to the fact they don’t list the full last name of everyone on the list, just Dave. That’s because everyone on the list excluding Dave and Wesley don’t actually exist…they just made up a list of names or used names of people on the show’s crew.

I agree in the promo clare had a card that said death so i assumed it would be eli. bianca and fitz seem like the new jay and alex. so they might bully all of them and then eli might come to school and try to kill himslef or them ala rick hence the word lockdown on the spinning wheel. or i could be reading in to this too much. :) but it seems like they are bringing back old character personalities because people miss that. JT and Toby. Jay and Alex. We need two funny characters and two bad guys. So it’s probably them.

Okay I dnt want to sound like “Faculty Bob” here….but is it me but has Teennick been waiting until the last minute to promote things?…even tho the promos for season 9 were mostly misleading they atleast had kind of giving up some idea whats going on…this year we get 1 long promo (for season 10, not the movie) when i think they should have had 2 promos running simultaneously, so we can have atleast some clue, I had to tell my friend when they were showing the movie because she honestly had no clue…it seems like since they feel its going to be alot of degrassi they can be slack about things like that…sorry i’m rambling lol

It’s more than a month before both the movie and season 10 premieres. There’s PLENTY of time. How is it waiting till the last minute? If they started airing promos now, it would be very annoying like their stupid movie-splosion commercials that they air every chance they get.

1) These are in school and Stephen already said the first eps take place over summer
2) The song Breakaway is one about abuse.
And there have been several times that pics from other episodes have ended up in a different gallery. It happened with CTV twice in S6 before they fixed it.
Teennick does it every couple episodes. I think the last time was for their 915 gallery.

The press site (which I have access to) specifically says they’re from the first episode, which is What A Girl Wants. The original filenames of the pics start off with “d1001_XXXX,” 1001 is What A Girl Wants. So that’s what episode they’re from until proven otherwise. They add pictures for an episode, and then when the episode is finished those pics are taken down and the pics for the next episode are added…so there is no “gallery” on the press site.

I Love Fiona! I hate that she’s going to get abused but when degrassi says it goes there, i guess it goes there. I just hope they don’t resolve all the issues in one episode like they’ve done before. For example, Ellie’s cutting and Terri’s abuse.

Well Rick first came on in “Whisper to a Scream”, then the abuse started in “Never Gonna Give You Up”, Terri dumped Rick at the end of that episode but took him back in “Don’t Dream It’s Over”, which is the episode where he puts Terri in a coma. So the storyline pretty much only lasted 2 episodes.

Just watched the Promo in slow motion. Sav and Anya are making out-Hopefully its all part of her two-faced plan, the guy abusing Fiona is also cheating on her with some blond chick, Riley had some ducked tape with him and some other guy grabbing Drew-paybacks a bitch, Fitz has a cigarette behind his ear and beating up Eli and they are being pushed against the wall by cops, Sav driving one car and Bianca driving another car with Adam in the passenger seat-maybe a high speed chase, and students are running through the hallways with paper all over the ground-obviously the lockdown. And they show random characters facial expressions.

i think what ppl need to do is try lookin at the carnival promo and the latest one making connections. here are the cinnections i made with both promos. a lot of my connections will possibly be similar to others out there.
riley vs drew- here we have riley and drew who are both quarterbacks on the degrassi football team. riley is the man of the team and the starting qb and picks ib drew bcuz drew has the potential with his football skills but his personality and attitude may not be liked. drew uses riley’s homosexuality against riley to relinquish starting qb spot to him.
adam- next with adam in the carnival promo i made a connection to the first part of carnival promo. i believe adam has some sort of connection with drew or riley but probly more of drew since drew has some personality to think he perhaps better than everyone. adam is a guy.
adam,chante,holly j, sav, bianca, anya- once again just connecting characters through mainly carnival promo. i connect adam to sav and bianca first and foremost bcuz we will see those three together as a group. now anya,holly j, and chante are friends via forgetting sav mini series.
bianca,jenna,kc,fitz,leia- the connection here is that we know bianca and fitz will be hangin out as well as kc and fitz when kc decides he cant handle things. Jenna is here bcuz it doesnt seem like she and kc will workout at all and it is possible that bianca and Jenna have history. Leia is here because just for a little while she may try to fit in for a bit.
fitz,connor,dave,wesley,leia,eli- like mentioned leia will try to fit in before she prob realizes that academically she just too good for it. she could be turned towards connor in a possible love interest or just be a girl who is challenged by connor’s intelligence. fitz has his eyes on dave ,wesley, and connor as they try to challenge bianca or atleast dave tryin to be student rep. We know eli gets targeted by fitz at some point with some help from kc.
eli,clare,ali,drew,connor,dave,wesley,- eli looks to seem like he wants to be a love interest of clare who more grownup and mature now. clare is still connected with ali but that seems like the relationship will take a bit of a turn bcuz ali is more focused on drew. connor who ppl cant forget was also a friend of clare from the beginning is focused on helping dave get ali. wesley is someone clare got close to at one point. clare is madame degrassi which is why the tarot card plot is good for her.
fiona, holly j- holly j loves fiona’s brother and fiona gets abused. fiona has issues that will probly affect holly j’love and ambitions.
my connections didnt turn out as good as i wanted them but it was hard for me to get it out by typing but i forgot that kc will be connected in every storyline that has clare, eli, and/or fitz.

adam and drew are step brothers which shows tht i was rite that they have connection.
Drew does not get good grades which i think can lead to him possibly manipulating or using some women or just ali to get better
fitz likes smart girls so maybe a possiblity with leia, clare, or even chante in my opinion since he was in beat it episode and thts jus farfetched opinion
also eli drives a hearse to school which is a call for a beatdown because that is the weirdest thing i have heard but it seems for great storylines.

I have a question. Ive seen a lot of predictions and some of them say Jane and Spinner are going to be off Degrassi. Is this true? Also i kinda do buy the Fitz and Bianca Being the new Alex and Jay But i expect a lil bit more bossy this time. I buy it because as you can see degrassi is sorta repeating some of its original things. Like the Riley and Fiona thing. To me that same thing happend with Marco and Ellie they just changed it around a little bit.
