    I wish I can play on the Degrassi >.< I will want to be a next Ellie well the emo person because they only have like Jane which Jane isn't really like Ellie well what I'm saying is they need like a person that cut them self or someone that get rapes or pregnant Degrassi needs MORE DRAMA!!!!!!! I can wait in till the next season yay~! \!(^o^}!/

    i’m sooo excited for season 9. i got storylines for season 9 from wiipedia. there are a LOT of suprises. and they redid some of the episodes from past seasons into modern scinerios. it will knock your socks off.
    Wikipedia info: type in degrassi: the next generation. go down to the very bottom and click on season 9 and read the stuff!!!

      NO NO NO NOOOOO! Wikipedia is NEVER a good source for Degrassi episode descriptions this early before the season starts. Right now that page has been locked, because every single season people go in there and add fake descriptions that sound like they could be real.

        Actually, Kary, they’ve been pretty good with it lately. So… The page is pretty much locked right now, but I do agree that with all the people fooling around with it, it sometimes isn’t always so accurate.

      Sean won’t die and I know this for 2 reasons, one the only time he would do it is during “The Rest of My Life” and that’s supposed to be having the Grade Nines and Jane and Holly J. and from the podcast that they had it sounded like it was about love and boyfriends
      two Ellie’s dad is in Canada, Sean is in Afghanistan, Ellie’s dad has post-pardon depression and he probably wouldn’t even go back

      I’m saying no. 1)It sounds ridiculously random. Why would they just up and kill off a character who left the show, and had no plans to return to begin with? And 2)People have “heard” that Sean dies, but no one has acutally posted a source for this supposed info.

      She’s not coming back. It’s not about the character, it’s about the actress that plays her. Shenae’s too busy with 90210 to film anything for Degrassi…so they’ll probably just casually mention something about Darcy deciding to stay in Kenya, move to another school, whatever.

    well i heard that johnny and connor die because sav hurts johnny for hurting alli. and the last few episodes of season 9 are remakes of older episodes like when manny gets pregnat wuth craigs baby. this time claire gets pregnat with KC’s baby. and when connor dies its when jimmy got shot inseason 4 connor is rick, claire is emma, KC is sean, and idk who plays toby. so yea the remake episodes are:
    FRIDAY NIGHT: [original]jimmy and spinner play pranks on ms. kwan causing her to leave then later return TIME STANDS STILL: [original] Jimmy gets shot and is paralyzed {but can later walk at his wedding} and rick dies. ACCIDENTS WILL HAPPEN: [ORIGINAL] Manny and craig get pregnat and manny has an aborition. SO YEAH….

      I don’t think the people who are in charge of the show would copy huge plot lines from earlier seasons. If they do, probably many viewers of the show would stop watching because the would have seen it all before.

        Yeah that’s a REALLY big stretch for storylines, but I highly doubt many viewers would stop watching. It’s not like they would copy the storylines verbatim. But even then…another abortion? Remember how The-N refused to air Accidents Will Happen for the longest time? I’m not sure they wanna go through that again. And that storyline was wasted because the plot had to be self-contained in that two-parter.

    Hey.
    I’m kinda new to degrassi. Lol. I just started watching it on aol two days ago. I stayed up all night and right after school I came home and watched it. In other word’s, I was crazy over this show. lol. But yeah I have watched all the episode’s from season 1 to season 8 in 3 friggian day’s.
    But my question is, I have been hearing that Riley rape’s Peter, is this true?
    And does Peter turn gay/ bi and Peter and Riley end up together?
    cause that would be friggian awesome :]
    not the rape part, but the turning gay/bi and ending up together.

    I have been watching degrassi as long as it has been around. well, TNG anyways. I love the show and I never get tired of watching reruns, I feel like I have grown up with the show and can relate to it in so many ways.
    I would love to see sean come back and he and emma get back together. I don’t like kelly, he’s boring and unattractive to me. sean and emma were the first epic couple, and I feel like they belong together!
    one couple I hated together was peter and mia. they were so…boring. this whole last season wasn’t interesting to me at all. peter and darcy were best together, but of course she isn’t coming back.
    I would love to see a spinner and holly j and jane love triangle! I think she may cheat on him?? but idk for sure. im so excited about the new season, I think it’ll be the best one weve seen in a long time.

    and i heard else where that he gets plastic surgery
    >_< please help me out i think he looks fine … sorry i is big marc fan
    but to get plastic surgery is crazy… he just needs to grow up!

    i was watching the get to know degrassi thing on the n today and i think it might be something to do with “sexting” because johnny and bruce pulled out their phones and were like “oh my god”. and i think ali might be the person because se wants to get noticed and she might taked maked pics of herself because in the “back to school” promo she wants to get noticed nad drops her clothes so yeah…..

      the thing that confused me in this episode , is that when alli posted the ihate holly j blog, she got a record. and the police officer said if she did anymore criminal stunts or acts, she will go to juvinille court. the thing is, sexting is a crime, so wouldn’t that be put on her record ? god this show is good, but CONFUSING !

    We know that mia is leavingv,we know that alli will take nude pics of her self and send them to jhonny and bruce.we know that jenna will try to get her hand on kc but clare will never let that happen .we also know that riley will try to hide being gay but i have a feeling he would like marco because remember stfan said student mentor thing like season 4 no more hints .we also know that jane will end up with declan and spinner will end up with holly j.imore news but i cant gin e anymore details

      I can’t wait for new eps about Riley but I don’t think he’ll do anything with Marco. Marco knows haw things like that end up after the whole situation with Paige and Mr.O a couple of seasons ago
      but I love Marco and can’t wait for him to get back!!! He might catch on and find out that Riley is gay and confront him about it is what I’m thinking.

        I don’t think that Marco and Riley will ever get together. If anything Marco will school him and show him how to deal with people and life as a gay person. Marco is very mature and just because he is gay I don’t think
        that means he will get with just anybody.

    I saw this new promo today about Peter!!! Its not on the website yet though! but it’s about Peter in the 1st 2 eps but what caught my eye was Riley in it! the scene wasn’t for that long but it was Riley leaning in with his head kinda tilted and you could see the back of peter’s head in the corner!! At first I thought he was probably talking to Peter looking worried maybe about the meth!! but I saw it again and the way he looked… I think he was about to kiss Peter!!!!! AGAIN!!!
    So I was thinking about that commercial where Peter is thinking to himself and deciding to tell people about Riley cause hes been telling people that Peter is gay but in it he says “We both know what happened” so maybe this time Peter will kiss Riley back!!! Even if Peter is high or something at the time I’m still excited!!

    I think the whole Sav and Anya storyline is really just them discovering that they truly do belong together, and how their relationship becomes more defined with “every breath they take.” Word is they finally get engaged!

      yeahh im really excited to see more Sav and Anya because so far they havent done much with their relationship or characters that is really “intense” or “important” in a way that really affects the show…but i personally dont like Anya’s character but she is good for Sav and they really do love each other…I dont think anything really important is gunna happen with them for maybe 2 seasons(: if they do get engaged that would be crazyy!! haha
      also i love the Studz….but they are no Downtown Sasquatch. (hopefully i spelt that right) and i think Peter and his crystal meth thing is sort of repeating Craig’s coke addiction.but there is gunna b a lot of growth with Peters character i believe.

      i think there is gunna b a lot more getting “Real” this season ((:

    Hey! Your blog has been so helpful, thanks so much for posting it!
    I have a few more questions regarding Season 9!
    1) I saw commercials for the new movie, and people have been saying it’s the end of Degrassi. If so, is there any possibility at the slightest of Peter/Darcy and Sean/Emma?
    2) Where did Derek go?
    3) Declan and Fiona are close…very close. Are they trying to send us a message there?

      in the video, it says the “SEASON finale”, not “SERIES finale.” and stefan/snake says that they just have to do bollywood next, it’s the only other place to go.
      possibility of darcy and sean coming back is probably zilch. sean has been gone for seasons, and if they bring him back it would kill the show. darcy is off on a new show now, so she’s probably not coming back for now.

      derek is still around. he’s still in the credits, he’s not going anywhere.

      as for declan and fiona, they are TWINS. not incestual brothers and sisters. if you know anything about twins, they’re usually extremely close and keep secrets for each other, and pretty much do anything for each other.
      for instance: there was a guy in my area who accidently hit his twin brother with his CAR and killed him, and then committed suicide a few days later because his brother was gone and he couldn’t deal with it.
      therefore, no, they are not incesutal twins who are dating. that would be creepy. i know degrassi has hit like everything in the spectrum, but i HIGHLY doubt they would hit incest… that’s just wrong.

        but as for the derek thing, i also highly doubt that they would just kill off a character like that and not have any mention of “oh derek’s dead, okay, move on now.”
        i’m sure he’s still in the season. we just haven’t seen him yet.

        derek is in the season, but besides the fact that he graduates, no important plotlines have been revealed for him yet. Like Marco, he makes an appearance, and nothing more.

    I totally agree with the A+ review for “You Be Illin’” (A plot). WHOA indeed. Totally unexpected and heart breaking. I do give Johnny credit for telling her when he first thought something was wrong, especially since it looked like she was going to forgive him. He knew it would ruin that, but it was the right thing to do. And am I right in thinking he didn’t cheat on Alli, that those other girls were before Alli and it just took awhile for any symptons to show up?
    Great acting by Scott and Melinda.

    In Heart Like Mine Part 1, KC scores the winning basket in the basketball team. Jenna goes to congratulate him and he picks her up and twirls her around. Clare seems to be really jealous and asks for KC to twirl her around or at least kiss her. She thinks that he is going to kiss her on the lips, but he kisses her on the cheek instead.

    At the car wash, KC and Jenna continue to flirt. Jenna’s half brother mentions that Jenna mentions KC all the time at home. She seems embarrassed, but KC seems flattered. As KC and Jenna flirt, Clare continues to act jealous and makes a smart remark to Jenna. The coach encourages KC to break up with Clare and go after Jenna. KC tells Clare that they make each other mad and he breaks up with her. Clare asks him how long he liked Jenna, he tells her he tried no to like her, but couldn’t.

    At the Athlete’s Banquet, KC sits next to Jenna. When KC is awarded most improved player, Jenna hugs him and they kiss. Alli yells at Jenna and KC and tells them that Clare won’t be happy about what is going on with them. The coach gives KC the key to his room, KC invites Jenna up there and they make out on the bed, but shortly after the coach walks in on them and Jenna ends up leaving.

    The coach offers KC beers and they both appear to be drunk. Since the coach has been drinking he can’t drive KC home so he tells him to stay the night. The coach and KC watch porn together.

    In Heart Like Mine Part 2, Alli and Clare have completely cut off Jenna. KC tells Jenna to just ignore them. Jenna suspects that something is up with the coach and he is creepy. Later on after KC throws up in public due to his hangover, KC tells her the truth. KC tells her that he spent the night in the hotel room with the coach. Jenna gets angry because he lied to her, but KC tells her that she should be happy because the coach is the reason that he broke up with Clare.

    The coach invites KC back to his hotel room, the coach shows KC his gun that he keeps in his car. Back in the hotel room, the coach hooks KC up with a prostitute. KC is unaware at first, but then gets nervous and leaves the room. Later on, KC takes the gun out of the coach’s car. KC apologizes to Clare and tells her he’s sorry, but doesn’t tell her what is going on with the coach. After KC confronts the coach and tells him he’s a sick pervert, he reports the coach to Mr. Simpson and Ms. H and shows them the gun. The police arrest the coach. KC is seem leaning on Jenna at the end of the episode.

    Man the episode “Keep on loving you,” just made me bawl my eyes out!! Declan and Holly J are the perfect couple on Degrassi! He is so sweet :) !! Keep them together Degrassi and show the world a TRUE loving relationship and what it entails :D !!! I feel so bad that he has to leave that stinks! Especially, since when he told a girl before that he loved her, then she left him. Not cool. Keep up the excellent work Degrassi I <3 this show so much!!!
