What We Learned From This Episode

Meh, I don’t know what to think about this episode. It gave me chills, just not the kind of chills AFD gave me. I feel the episode would’ve had a greater effect if there wasn’t so much hype prior to its premiere. Everything that happened was definitely predictable.
Okay, now it’s on to part 2 of season 11! Which, based the promo for the premiere episode, looks not too realistic. Too much relationship drama aka love triangles, squares, pentagons, etc. Anyways, can’t wait for the new batch of niners to add a fresh feel to Degrassi!
Compared to this, all falls down was kind of lame and boring
Yeah, no one in AFD actually got hurt, but the act of attempting to stab another person made me sweat and my heart race.
The problem, nowadays, is that there are so many spoilers to these big finales that it takes away the suspense from the episode.
I thought All Falls Down was a way better episode because they kept the suspense, thrill, and great acting all the way through. If you were only able to watch half the episode you couldn’t even guess that it would have been a fake stabbing.
Unlike Dead and Gone which, within the first half you already could guess that things were going to wrap up since most of the action and suspense was over.
So you could say that for that piece of action and plot that Dead and Gone was good but as a whole, All Falls Down tops it hands down.

At the end you should have put Clare’s “does getting shot hurt?” question and then that face!

I hope it is. And I hope it’s an actual episode and not a dumb Halloween special.

As soon as Clare stepped into prom I was like…. Oh boy here comes the drama queen
She really is a Buzzkill. I can’t stand Clare. She’s easily one of the top five worst female characters in TNG’s history.
Her recent actions, may be the cause of this. Although I don’t think its fair to say that due to her recent behavior, all charecters have their unlikeable phase. I’d say Clare (imo) is in the top 20 female charecters in Degrassi History.
I know. The writers really messed up the last 2 seasons with her character. She’s hasn’t had any development near the level of say, Fiona, Bianca, or Holly J. She’s comes off as a judgemental spoiled brat.

Clare Edwards is a total bitch. If lumberjack Jake is fine with incest, then you should too. She also looks like Kitty from That 70′s show.

I agree with Bizzy Bone and Laura. At this point, Clare is free to go straight to Kenya. Her character is always whining about something and she never gets any real development of her own. If they go on another season with Clare NOT developing and just being a boy crazy hag her character will be destroyed beyond repair.
Also to do anything with her the following season would be a little bit too late, just like how Anya FINALLY started developing outside relationships (and generally not having plots of her own) in her LAST season.
I hope Jake can develop without her soon because he seems like he’s an interesting character if they gave him a chance. Same goes for Imogen, Bianca, and Marisol. I think they are all ready for A plots. However I doubt they will ever get them :\

something i hope for the next half of the season is that the most dramatic plot does not need to be the last episode. honestly i would enjoy the finale just as much if it has light-hearted and the focus was on all of the seniors for a proper send-off. the finale does not need to be overly dramatic to be good. and of course, no more finales at a dance!
i also hope that the next half (though this will not become true) is more plots that don’t revolve around a couple. i enjoyed drew’s storyline throughout the whole season, but introducing katie into the plot i thought dragged everything down.

Relationships are starting to get ridiculous on the show. Hope someone like Eli stays single and has an interesting plot;
Hmm I just realized Fiona always has a A plot episode before every finale: Purple Pills which is before All Falls Down, Chasing Pavments which is before Drop The World, and Take a Bow which is before Dead and Gone. Very intresting(=
Fiona was one of those characters I never cared for until this season. There were some moments in the second half of last season that I liked, but it was definitely this season (especially her scenes with Eli) when I warmed up to her. She may be the only potential replacement for *sniff sniff* losing the awesome HollyJ.
Question: Is this the last we see of Eli and Imogen scenes?
The one-hour Halloween special is an actual canon episode. And meant to be the summer before the new school year. I am now super interested in this. Not in Cake drama, but just to see characters from different cliques interact with each other (Clare and Bianca? Wut?).
Clare has been exhausting to say the least, but she’ll just be turning into a junior so she has plenty of time to develop apart from relationships. I’m not worried.
What is a “canon” episode
Means the special should be an official plot instead of say a mini.
I’m watching the marathon today on Teenick and I’m guessing Claire is so pissed all the time because her mom is hotter than her. Miss Edwards is quite the cougar.
I still say a better storyline would have been Jake hooking up with Clare’s mother, the whole “Stacy’s mom” effect.
