Degrassi Extra recap for Should’ve Said No Pt. 2

What We Learned From This Episode
*Clare’s tongue has a mind of its own
*The Edwards girls are getting more action than everyone else on the show combined
*Drew finally figures out it might be a good idea to learn how to fight
*Sadie dumped about $4.50 worth of popcorn on Dave
*If Julian and Owen’s fighting skills are any indication, everyone at Degrassi will suddenly know how to fight soon, and my dream of a Degrassi Power Rangers spinoff will come true:

    Kary,
been a long time follower of your site but never replied until now. I’ve been a huge Degrassi fan since I watched re-runs of Degrassi Junior High in the mid-nineties (when I was in Jr. High) I had to comment because they Degrassi Chronicles/Power Rangers video had me laughing so hard I was crying. Keep up the good work

Last night I was actually feeling the Cake relationship and I’m actually starting to like seeing them together. That is, until it is announced that their parents are dating (which was predictable). Jake and Clare’s faces at the end were priceless and basically had “WTF” written all over them.

Do you think this is the end of Sadie? Not that she served a huge purpose, but since she’s a freshman, it doesn’t seem like she would be interacting with anyone else.

Sadie and Jess should just merge together to make one, insignificant character.

Marisol really is insufferable…whenever she talks the muscles in my face become really tense and i always get an evil smile. It’s the only coping mechanism I can come up with so that I don’t pick up my tv and throw it.

This episode sort of confirmed that Katie can’t act…at least not right now. Lots of Degrassi actors progress as their stint on the show continues but as of right now, I cannot stand her. She just comes off robotic and her emotions don’t change. I get it, you’re a tough cookie, but as an acting choice, it’s dull.

Holly J as a constant bitch had to change and it got way better after it did. Same should go for Katie.

Also…wasn’t there a rumor that “Jess” was supposed to be one of the new characters like a year ago? And we JUST got officially introduced to her? What happened to that?

Also…PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don’t screw up Dalli…I really like them as a potential couple.

I knew her first line was to Alli in the Dance crew telling her “We are a team but you’re not in it.” Or something like that; that was all around Alli and the dance crew.

Her first official Debut was when K.C. and Drew hit her with a football. She said something about her Lawyer as a joke. K.C. started to be around her to get over Jenna, but then Jenna came to the lunch table talking about Baby stuff. We see Jess get a sad expression.

Jess has been around longer than Sadie and Liam put together.

I remember her then but I thought she was supposed to come to the forefront to be a more constant character, like they’re doing with Marisol now.

She might be one of those to replace the seniors that graduate after this season…!_!

They are going to have a lot of slots to fill during the second half of S11.

We are losing, HJ, Sav, Anya, Riley, Zane, Chantay (although I would LOL if she has to stick around.)

It’s going to be interesting to see how many niners they bring on. They may as well also bring on a few Grade 10′s, since there won’t be any soph’s next year, other than Sadie.

That looked like 2 full bags of popcorn? Worth waaay more than $4.50 if we’re talking movie theater pricing. They looked like larges, depending on where you are that’s like $6.50-$7 per bag. If we’re talking normal store bought kernals air popped, then she probably only wasted a few cents worth =P

@Kary You know, if Marisol doesn’t last with KC, she may become the new Chantay! LOL “SHUT UP MARISOL!” Always chiming in people’s business, you know.
