Yeah it should be interesting to see if they have any chemistry, but I think she’s just going to be influencing him to disobey his parents. Seems like Bianca likes to be around trouble haha…I can’t wait for her to get more screen time.

She reminds me of Alex because she is going to be an integral part of Claire killing herself, but she will not be blamed for it at all. Instead, she will be best friends with the people who were closest to Claire, while the other people who were involved in Claire’s death will be expelled from school and hated by the school as a whole.
I think she will be good for him because she will make him stand up to his parents =]

There seems to be more signs pointing to a possible Jenna pregnancy. Her diet storyline that’s coming up next week, plus the descriptions about her getting sick at an audition. Although I don’t think Jenna and KC are having sex, since it’s never been alluded to on the show. So I really don’t know, but Jenna has been growing on me in the past couple of episodes, and I am kind of excited to see a storyline from her perspective.
I REALLY hope she’s not cause her and KC wont last and him ditching out on her is going to make him look like a crappy guy. Which I dont think he is….though they might be trying to make him into one. The sensitive bad boy – I dunno.

Sianca SHALL BE BORN in the new episode lmfao, BUT I highly doubt they get together because HOLLY J is suppose to get with Sav soon or else those promos would be lying Lol. or to get back at declan because she thinks he is cheating.

and by the way (wow, im saying “and” a lot, aren’t i?), it’s officially been confirmed that fiona’s “friend” is a pig. the exec posted this interview with charlotte arnold (http://blogcritics.org/video/article/an-interview-with-degrassis-charlotte-arnold/) on his twitter, in which charlotte says,
“If I could play another girl on the show, I think I’d want to be Fiona,” Charlotte said. “Her journey this year is at times hilarious, always heartbreaking, and very stylish. And it involves a pig.”
That rumored pig appearance has to do with Fiona? Hilarious, but slightly disappointing. I thought the description meant Adam; they’re in a promo pic together on MuchMusic’s site, but I’ve seen no descriptions of them having any connection yet.

Eli is in the episode, the promo pics are just deceiving. The main plot includes Sav, Eli, Adam, and Bianca. One subplot is with Jenna and KC, and the other is Fiona dealing with her lonesomeness.

I have a question regarding the Degrassi school year! Has anyone else noticed that the school year is depicting 2010-2011? You can see this when Holly J is looking for an SAT course, it says SAT courses (2010-2011). You can also see this when Riley is looking at the empty football plaque. He wants his name to be under the 2010-2011 year (because thats the one that is empty)! If season 8 and season 9 depicted the 2007-2008 school year, then why is Season 10 jumping to the 2010-2011 school year? Degrassi is the best show ever!

Its already been mentioned…and it has been made official they were using a “semi-floating timeline(look it up)” with seasons 8-9…and plus they (Like I) are tired of people complaining about the degrassi years so they just jumped it back to reality time.
Remember when probably half the senior class got left behind after season 5? Well, just pretend that the ENTIRE class got left behind for two years.
The whole diet pills, embarrassing results thing… well, a short while ago about these diet pills called “Alli” or something…
Basically, they’re fat-binding diet pills but they have the embarrassing side-effect of… um, … :/ Anal Leakage.
This would be AN EXTREMELY AWKWARD STORYLINE… but, I mean, it’s affected teens struggling with their weight… who knows…
It could be like when Emma had period blood on her pants, except now Jenna will have poop on her pants. Damn, Degrassi keeps getting better and better.

oh my god, that was fantastic! the first scene with sav winning the tickets completely reminded me of craig in s2 “drive”. and i literally squealed when i saw adam! and “thats what my ex-girlfriend said.” LOLZ. and fiona and being lonely and the pig and . . . oh my god. (oh, and her condo is gorgeous!) and i expected bianca to really be a jerk to jenna, but she actually seemed vaguely caring. “your friend knows these pills are only for obese people, right?” it seemed like bianca was trying to steer jenna in the right direction, but didnt quite care enough to outright tell her she wasnt fat. oh, and did anyone else ever watch Zoey 101? cause the whole hands-on-the-truck fundraiser was exactly what they did once on zoey 101 (i know that these arent the only places ever to do those fundraisers, but the ways to get people to take their hands off the van were exactly the same as they did in zoey 101)

I’m really loving how they slowly introducing these characters. Favorite quote of this episode “thats what my girlfriend said” by Adam. But I think I already know why Sav gets followed by the cops. The truck was probably reported stolen.
I got to give a huge thumps up to the writers, each episode keeps getting better and better. Now I really can’t wait for monday for part 2.

But seriously, it’s not that far-fetched. If you put the pieces together, it’s pretty clear she’s preggers and that’ll be what she finds out in TDOTO. I mean, she’s had weird cravings, she wont’ fit into her uniform, the diet pills will cause her to pass out, etc. Plus, she and Peter were in Space Awakening together which left plenty of hook-upage time… and then she applied at The Dot in DTM… so. I mean, putting all those pieces together, that would make the most sense. However, Peter & Jenna together really creeps me out. I really love Peter but not so much Jenna.
The only good thing would be if Jessica Tyler leaves for the CW after having Peter’s baby. :-P

Wow, I never thought of that! That would be SO weird. And rather out of the blue if it’s true. Especially considering how much into KC she is…she’d have NO room to be jealous if she’d been hooking up with Peter. Though it does seem like she’s gonna be preggers and their (jenna’s and KC’s) sex life haven’t been mentioned either. But the chubbiness, mood swings, getting sick at her addition (which I believe happens later), food cravings (which I dont know is true, someone on here mentioned it), and whatever else does lead you to believe that’s what it is…if not what?!! I can’t think of ONE other possibility….

I really liked Sav, because FINALLY, he grew a pair and started to rebel against his parents. It strikes me as weird, though, that he’d do it for a concert, but not for Anya.
Secondly, I can sympathize with Jenna so much. I used to be sort of overweight like her and I used to obsess about it too. She’s starting to grow on me.
And lastly, KC in this episode reminded me a lot of the KC from season 8, before he broke up with Clare. I really missed that charming, kind of quirky side of him.
omg me too. i was in love with K.Clare when they were first introduced. but now i’m happy tht jenna got stuck with K.C’s crap, and Clare gets Eli… unless he has a crazy pass too (which is hinted in his bio and when you get Eli in the teennick “Which degrassi character will mess with your heart”)

oh and sorry for double-posting at 3:30 AM, but i had to make this observation:
I forgot which season nine episode this happened in… maybe in the one where K.C eventually ended up with Jenna and Clare found out… but Clare was writing for an assignment or for the school website or SOMETHING, and then in the bathroom she was talking to Ali and she told her to turn in paper she wrote, but then Clare said “it’s not finished yet, I still have to write the part where the girl gets the guy back” and ali smiled and looked pround of clare and then they walked away smiling. so what ever happened to that? I’m not saying I WANT Clare to get back with K.C, but the writers kind of hinted that they were getting back together, or at least TRY to, but then they completely forget about it. so they basically wasted their time writing tht cuz there was no follow up to that and they just completely threw it away.
I know some people will kill me, but it’s like half way through Season 9 the writers went “Oh, what the hell?” and just won’t anything and everything without caring. I’m one of the few people who aren’t a fan of that season. I feel like there were too many filler episodes.
Sorry Clare fans, but there were more important things they could’ve centered an episode around other than Clare having dreams about vampires. 0.o
Sorry, I just hated that. I wouldn’t have minded if the writer had focused on more serious issues that season other than boring relationship drama between Anya/Sav and Holly J/Declan.

I just saw ‘I Just Don’t Know What To Do With Myself’ I thought it was good. Idk if you guys notice this but right before Jenna was about to buy the diet pills, Bianca was talking to some guy. You know she was trying buy weed. I’m actually starting to like Jenna lol. Also I love Adam, you could so tell he’s trying to be a boy. Can’t wait for part 2.
They might get back together eventually. We can’t completely rule it out yet.

Okay, so I just watched the newest episode and I was once again left satisfied and eagerly awaiting part 2!
Sav FINALLY has a story that doesn’t involve Anya in any degree what’s so ever. Thank…you…Jesus!
I’m excited to see Sav taking risks and trying to stand on his own two feet instead of hiding behind Studz and Anya. Before S10, I was ready for the writers to just throw Sav in the garbage, but he’s one of the many characters that have finally been given some life and reason to exist on the show! I’m loving where his character is going.
I’m glad we finally get to see Adam in action! I love how his first appearance was normal and casual and not some big over the top dramatic event. He seems to be a great character, he seems pretty witty too! Him and Eli make great buds.
I’m also thrilled to see that everyone at Degrassi is mingling with everyone. For the past few seasons it seemed like only the senior characters hung together, and only the junior characters hung together, and only the freshman characters hung together ect, I’m glad they’ve change that. That isn’t very realistic. In high school I knew a lot of people in different grades, not just a particular one.
BIANCA! I love her! I nearly died at “You Cows really wanna lose some weight?” and her little fight with Chantay. That was too awesome for words! I love my bitchy girls and seeing Chantay and Bianca kinda go at it was amazing!
I’m happy B is getting a lot of screentime. I just assumed she would be a very minor character, in the background, maybe a witty line or two here and there, but she’s had pretty big roles in most of the episodes so far and I couldn’t be any happier! It’s about time Degrassi had another bad girl character. I just hope she doesn’t magically turn “nice”. Keep her tough. Keep her edge. PLEASE!
Poor Fiona. I’m glad she is getting a pet. But what she needs to do is to GET OUT and meet people instead of staying cooped up inside of her house. Last year she only hung with her brother at Degrassi, now this year she’s hanging with Holly J. There are a lot of other people at this school, GET TO KNOW THEM! I’m sure there’s a ton of people who would want to be her friend. She’s beautiful, wealthy, friendly, and amazing. The only person that is preventing Fiona from having friends is FIONA. Your senior year should be the best year of your entire youth, or at least your best year in HS! You don’t want to look back with regrets. “Well maybe if I had pushed myself and got out of my comfort zone I could’ve had friends”. You don’t want to regret. Push yourself and challenge yourself. Get out there. It may be hard but at least you can say you did it and won’t have any regrets. I better stop, I feel like I’m preaching, lol. It’s just that I feel very close to characters who are outcasts.
Jenna all of a sudden being crazy over her weight was a little too hard to believe. But then again she’s still a new character and we don’t know much about her, so I’m willing to let that go. But maybe it’s not the weight that she’s obsessed with. I find it odd how she was first obsessed with KC, checking his phone and acting jealous, now she’s obsessing over her weight…yeah, this could be a part of something bigger. She’ll probably obsess over more things this season.
All in all, solid episode!
I think that Jenna’s weight obsession is pretty realistic, actually. I was the same way in highschool. I had always been a little curvier, but it was something I never took any notice of whatsoever–until we had family from Europe stay with us for two weeks when I was 17. We were eating nonstop (and because they were with us over Easter, lots of sugar-laden goodies). And because they were from England, we were drinking tea and eating cookies before going to sleep every night. For two weeks. After they left, I remember going to put on a pair of jeans I had been wearing all the time, and realized that I had trouble getting into them. I thought, “WHAT HAPPENED?! HOW DID I GET SO FAT ALL OF A SUDDEN?!”
That was when my weight obsession started. It was pretty traumatic. Because I had never seen myself as any meatier than any of the other girls. But when I saw how quickly a body can put on weight, it totally changed how I saw myself, and how I looked at food. Suddenly, I was immense, and all of the other girls were waifs. So I can totally relate to Jenna, here.
Oh wow, Nina. I guess a person can have an abrupt change of view about themselves. Thank you for sharing that, now I have a better view of Jenna’s problem.

Well, when they say, “Jenna get’s sick” I think they mean, Jenna get’s ‘sick’, quote on quote. Because even though we all know she’s gonna have an eating disorder, they aren’t going to say, “Since Jenna is bulimic/anorexic, she goes into the bathroom to puke, while everyone else thinks that it’s the common flu.”
And I really don’t mean to say that in a negative manner.
So, when she get’s ‘sick’, she is just going into the bathroom to puke up all of the calories she ate earlier that day.

Main Plot: Sav’s concert tickets A-
Sav, Bianca, Adam, Eli, Holly J, Sav’s Father
I love this plot because Sav finally has courage and takes risks, making him my new favorite character. The plot starts with Sav winning concert tickets. He asks his dad if he can go (the concert is on a school night) but his dad declines and tells him he must give up the tickets. HJ and Sav talk and come up with the idea of a ‘Hands on a Van’ Fundraiser, which, the use Sav’s fathers new car for. Bianca, Wealey, Adam, and Eli all participate in this, with many other degrassi students. In the end, Adam and Eli share the concert tickets, but when they help Sav unload all of the equipment off of the car, Adam accidentally smashes the back light. Eli and Adam give Sav two tickets to the concert, and desperate for cash, Sav sells the ticket to Bianca fr 200 dollars. Eli fixes the truck, and Sav’s dad (not knowing about the damage) agrees to let Sav go. Sav thinks that honesty is the best policy, and tells his father about the inncident. His father changes his mind, and grounds Sav. At the end of the episode, we are left with a cliff hanger saying “Well if my dad wont give me the truck, I’ll just have to take it” and then a sudden blackout.
Plot 2, Subplot 1 Jenna’s weight issues B+
Jenna, K.C., Bianca, Alli, Mrs. O, Power Squad
This plot was fairly good, and a good start to Part 2. Jenna’s plot starts when Alli is watching Jenna’s music video online. Jenna trys on her uniform (new uniform) and it gets stuck. Alli helps her out of it (which is weird, because I didnt know her and Jenna were best friends). Later in the caf, K.C. tells Jenna he’s happy she eats junk food. She becomes parinoid and thinks hes calling her fat, so she starts a diet. She talks to the Power Squad about diets, and Bianca over hears and tells them she has diet pills. The squad shuns her. Later on, Jenna is working out, and relizes she has barley lost calories. K.C. asks her if she is going to be miss december (a sexy elf) but she thinks hes calling her Santa. She turns to Bianca for diet pills and leaves us with a cliff hanger.
Plot 3, Subplot 2, Fiona’s lonliness A-
Fiona, Holly J, a theripist and a pig?
This plot excits me for more Fiona. Her mom goes back to NY, leaving Fiona alone. She books a spa weekend for her and HJ, but HJ is busy and declines, leaving Fiona by herself. Fiona and her theripist have a meeting, and it is revealed that Fiona trys to buy people (friends), so lonley Fiona goes on a walk and stops at a pet shop, and sees a pig. We are stuck with a cliffhanger, wheather she gets the pig or not. Most people will find this plot boring, but I think it is the begining of more Fiona drama. This plot introduces us to a pig, and we get out first look at Fiona’s AMAZING apartment.
All together, I grade the episode in the B – B + range.

I feel like Ms. Oh is going to have a really interesting storyline. There have been several cases where teachers are harassed (sexually and verbally) by their students for being female and/or attractive. I think this would be an interesting storyline that would sort of bring back the whole adult factor we’ve been missing on Degrassi for a while.
Oh, and I almost forgot. Degrassi has done “The Breakfast Club” and “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” themed episodes in the past. Is anyone else reminded of “Heathers” by the “All Falls Down” episode description? Lol. If it is, that’ll be one EPIC episode. But I doubt it, I mean, they couldn’t really blow up Degrassi, could they?

You know how in the promo, it had Clare’s cards as “the lovers” and “death”? Well, I did some research on fortune telling cards and it says that the death card doesn’t refer to actual physical death; it means change.
I’m thinking that the change is how Eli is giving Clare mixed signals(in one of kary’s descriptions it says he is giving her mixed signals). I’m pretty sure they’ll end up together, but the death card just means he’s giving her mixed signals. I really hope that’s it, because Clare & Eli are my favorite characters on the show now. If either of them die I don’t think I’m going to be able to watch the show anymore :/

Yes, the Death card is the part of your life in which there is “change”, or a “new beginning”. I know a bit about Tarot. I think that the Death card doesn’t refer specifically to Claire or Eli’s life, however; rather, I think it refers to Degrassi itself. I’m not saying the school will be blown up or anything, but something big to kick off a sort of “new beginning” that’s already been started since the very first episode of Season 10. Something that will change Degrassi forever, and will have repercussions in the second half of Season 10 (thus, the “Boiling Point” is when this all happens, the end of the first half of Season 10. You can already feel the tension rising each episode; I think that’s why they chose to do the Telenovela style for the first half specifically.) Degrassi will, in a way, sacrifice its old self for a new one, allowing the totally new cast of Degrassi to have their own environment different from all previous seasons. I may be overanalyzing a bit, though.

Come on Clare. Do we really supposed to believe that NO ONE knows Adam’s secret?
I’m trying to watch the way I word this so I won’t get 500,000 thumbs down, but it’s obvious that Adam physically is a female. So I find it silly that the characters on the show don’t realize it when it’s very obvious.
And for those of you who are so quick to lash out- I’m NOT saying it’s silly that Adam is transgendered. Not at all. I’m saying it’s silly that we are supposed to believe that the other characters don’t notice that he’s not PHYSICALLY a male.
I think they should have chosen a male actor for Adam, personally – while Toodsie is very young, and thus has a small chest, it will grow soon enough and it will hard to keep realistic. However, I respect their decision in choosing a female actor in that they are trying to be as accurate as possible. They’ve really taken a lot of care into crafting Adam, and it shows.
There has to be a reason they picked a girl to play adam and I think its because adam will remain as chelsey

They are being really realistic in they’re portrayal of a transgender boy. They cast a girl to have that realism. No one notices that Adam is a biologically a female because he carries himself as a boy. Sure, they notice things are a little off about him, but they just think he’s a little strange.
Both the character and the actress are wrapped, because that’s how it is for a transgender person.
I saw the newest episode for Monday and if I didn’t know this was a show nd Adam is suppose to be a transgendered, I would think Adam is a very feminine male. She is VERY good actress, so Adam seems male. Plus they use a wrap to cover her chest so she seems flat.
I was thinking this too. I dont really understand why they specifically chose her because I’ve seen alot of other girls who could TOTALLY pass as a guy….even dressed as a girl lol. But done as a boy she still is OBVIOUSLY missing the Y chromosome!! This makes me think she might be straight, which I was wondering. Just because she’s transgender doesn’t automatically make her gay….but neither does ‘looking’ feminine. It’d just prolly make it easier for us to absorb a still-but-minutely feminine transgender character who likes guys opposed to a transgender butch who likes guys…I dunno, confusing stuff LOL

It eats at your brain and will continue to do so until you watch it. Just like in manga, I try valiantly to not read spoilers but I end up doing so because if I don’t look at spoiler pics, then its all good.
I have never in my life not spoiled something for myself. And I have never in my life regretted it. If I could know the whole plot of Pirates 4 right now, I’d take it instead of waiting til next May. I mean, I know what the plot loosely is but if I could like read the script, I would. I always flip to the end books too. Except with Beatles books… I already know what’s going to happen anyway. :-P

Personally, I don’t care that tomorrow’s episode didn’t leak. It’s only a one-day-wait, and that isn’t so bad. I want to watch new Degrassi as much as the next person, but by tomorrow, everything will be back to normal and the new episode will be right on schedule and everyone will be watching at the same time for the first time this season. I’m glad the episodes have stopped leaking and hope it’s permanent! Once 9PM EST hits tomorrow, I’ll be able to say that I survived, and I’m happy with that. :)

Okay yeah, but If it leaked, I’m pretty sure that most of you would watch it…but I guess it’s good that they stopped leaking…Kinda.
Kyle from cabletvtalk just posted “Part 2 didn’t come out yet. Today was a civic holiday up in Canada and MuchMusic was on holiday mode with the live noon Videoflow block pre-empted along with no live VJ hosted commercial breaks after 6pm, so it’s likely that the staff who usually uploads them daily also had the day off.”
He’s probably correct. So I guess we will have to wait until tomorrow.

darn. i havent been on here since yesterday morning, so i came on tonight and i saw that there were almost 500 comments and i was like “yes! that must mean that part 2 has leaked and everyone is discussing it!” but no such luck, i guess.

i know this is random and off topic but we can get our minds off tomorrows episode, so has anyone seen the season 9 bloopers or deleted scenes,i havent and i was just wondering if anyone has seen them off the season 9 dvd?
I was wondering the same thing too! I can’t buy the DVD, because I can’t find it anywhere, but all I really want are those deleted scenes. I’m really hoping someone puts them online, because I want to see them, especially the ones from the movie.
I got the DVD last week.
The bloopers are pretty good especially the ones for when Bruce throws the water balloon at Dave!
I haven’t seen all of the deleted scenes yet.
