If I had a dollar for every time someone has viewed this website...
Dang…that’s a lot of views man.
Yeah I know there’s a lot of sites that get a million hits per day, but this surpasses anything I ever expected to come from creating this website.
I started this blog in June of 2008. It only got 10 ten views that entire month.
I did a few more posts after that, but eventually got bored with the site and literally abandoned the site for almost an entire year. I didn’t start posting on a regular basis until June 2009. The site slowly grew, but didn’t really take off until the day after Degrassi Goes Hollywood aired on TeenNick.
I can’t even put into words the amount of gratitude I have for all of the people who have contributed information and posted comments here. My primary goal was for this to be a website where all of the Degrassi info out there could be found in one place (The awesome Degrassi-Fans was the only regular Degrassi news site out there when I started…all of the other fansites that I’d loved over the years were either inactive or had been completed deleted). Now this has become a place for literally nonstop, 24/7 Degrassi conversation. Let’s be honest: this place would be boring if it weren’t for you guys. :-)
Blog views per month since the site started (July 2008).
Not only has it broken 1 Million views overall, but before the end of this month (July 2010) the site will have racked up 1 Million views in less than 12 months. Degrassi: The Boiling Point has been massive…100,000 views last week alone, and the site will end up with over 300,000 views for the month of July.
Why am I throwing out all these stats? Because they (on top of the show’s ratings boost) point to the most important thing of all….that fans are EXTREMELY EXCITED for Degrassi, and they’re hungry for any information about Degrassi that they can get their hands on.
I hope that Stephen Stohn, Stefan Brogren and any other person in Degrassi’s front office read this post, and take it into account when talking with the networks about future seasons of the show.
WE (the fans) STILL LOVE DEGRASSI!!! Our love for the show keeps growing….and I’ve got the stats here to prove it.

awww congratz kary! ALSO i wanna point out Degrassi the heat is on or Manhattan or whatever they want to call it got the series HIGHEST ratings which is 1.2 million views. So Degrassi is finally hitting high numbers and I think If Degrassi can keep these great episodes up, people will actually consider Degrassi a good teen show and get a TCA lol.
Personal thing: I was randomly talking with my neighbor and out of no where they mentioned degrassi and I was shocked because that person watched degrassi but then said it sucked and didnt want to watch ever again(back in season 8) and look where we are now in Season 10 and everyone is watching lol

I love this site because it keeps me updating on everything that happened and things that are coming in the future.
I also love that I get to express my opinion about the show afterwards and see what other people think as well.

I just started coming on this site about a week before “Degrassi Takes Manhattan” came on and at first I didn’t think it was anything special. Then I came back the next day to blog about my predictions for the movie and I realized I love this site:) Its great because, you’re right, you can’t really get your hands on Degrassi info anywhere else. Someone should twitter Stephen Stohn and tell him to check out this site if he gets a chance. He would love it and it would definitely show that people like us are still true Degrassi fans.
