Yesterday Charlotte Arnold and Ray Ablack were in New York doing media interviews, and did a TV interview with WPIX. At the beginning of the interview they showed the first real, non-promo clip of Season 10: it involves Sav, Drew and Holly J from “What A Girl Wants.” Love It!
During the interview Charlotte and Ray talk about the new Season 10 format, the casts’ trip to Kenya and Ecuador, and a potential romance between Holly J and Sav in Season 10.

The DTM clips are frustrating b/c they’re lame. It’s not about the sources or the movie itself….it’s about the fact the movie is two hours, yet the preview clips that are starting to roll out are the parts of the movie where absolutely nothing happens. Really?!? Come on guys. Every 1-second clip of DTM in TeeNick’s promos up until this point have been more interesting. :-/

If they “show us some of the drama”, then it’ll take away from the shock-value when we actually see the movie. They’re toying with the viewers and it’s working. Good job by them to keep us on our toes, and in heavy anticipation for the movie.

10 Days till the boiling point/S10!!!!!
Wow, so Charlotte’s answer to the FacultyBob question on TeenNick was actually really interesting, at least to me.

This is definitely exciting, I’m really wondering what exactly it means? I might be wrong, but haven’t they already finished filming the first half (Boiling Point) of the season’s episodes? So is she referring to ones after Boiling Point or the final ones of BP? Anyway, with Adam getting more attention in the later half of Boiling Point, Eli seeming to be explored much furthur in the later parts/second half of the season, and the lockdown itself, I feel like those are gonna be the really intense episodes, and the ones we’ve seen descriptions for are building up. Makes a lot of sense, as a boiling point would gradually increase in intensity till exploding.
No they just finished the filming the first part of the season, so everything that they basically talk about is in the first 24 episodes.
With 7 days till the movie airs in Canada and 10 days till it airs on TeenNick I wonder if TeenNick is airing their DTM promo (that Stephen Stohn said should air “tonight” like a week ago) tonight. It would make complete sense since it is in like a week and today is Friday.

I think it might have been transitional music that you heard, like how they play music to move from one scene to another but there could very well be another theme song

That is one of the reasons I’m disappointed in this clip. I thought the trash on the floor and students running out of the doors was part of the lockdown in Season 10.

Last season Fiona seemed like a okay character who can sometimes be mean and abnoxious but now she seems like a melodramatic attention-whore, especially in the promos for DTM.
We’re actually getting to know Fiona. We barely knew her last season.

I like Fiona, i don’t think she’s being a bitch at all. We’ve seen in Season 9 that she isn’t that social and basically had no friends the whole season other then dating Riley for 5 seconds. Declan seems to really be the only person she can talk to. Also in Season 9 when Fiona was eating by herself he said to her “I like people..You should give it a try” or something of that nature. Im figuring we’re going to find something out about her this season. I still get the feeling that she’s adopted,but we’ll find out.

I actually love the potential from Fiona’s character…I was one of the people that hated she had no development, while her brother had all the screentime…now I’m starting to see the direction they were going with her, but might I add, that in the clip (fiona vs. HJ) Fiona had that look in her eyes like she could return to degrassi and become the biggest megabitch, and play it well. (:
Fiona’s my favorite character. She was being a little *bitchy* to Holly J, I think it’s funny and it makes me like her all the more! And, if she and Declan want to do a little incest thing I wouldn’t mind. It looks like it was a little “See this Holly J, what are you going to do about it?” type of thing though.
I’m excited about seeing her more this season.
