It’s time for another round of Degrassi Friday!! Now TeenNick’s promos are notorious for being misleading, but they’re flashy and they do what they’re supposed to do: draw you in. Here’s my 3 favorite Degrassi promos produced by TeenNick:
#3) Season 5: Turned out. This promo does a good job of conveying the pressure JT feels as the light goes off in his head and he realizes the pregnancy situation is real. Jay’s presence hits home the fact that JT may have to resort to desperate (and illegal) measures to keep his head above water. It’s a well-done cliffhanger promo.

#2) Season 3: Rock & Roll High School. At the time this promo was obscure and tightly edited. The song did all the talking, and all we knew was it was Ashely vs. Craig….and Craig’s scream at the end put it over the top.

#1) Season 7: Spinner vs. Johnny. This promo is my all-time favorite, because it truly made you feel like there was going to be a HUGE rivalry between Spinner and Johnny. Sure the actual rivalry was extremely short-lived, but this promo is badass.
My favorite promo so far was Holly J’s season 9 “I just wanna make you cry”. Well, then again, I’ve only started watching Degrassi at the end of season 8. Runner up: Danger Zone. I actually thought Spinner was going to die.
these promos ain’t got nothing on season 10 ones! ;) hahaha
I loved the season 8 Alli promo. It presented her as sassy, street-smart, and assertive. As soon as I saw it, I knew she’d be loads cooler than Sav.
I’m also into the Jane promo from season 7. I remember seeing it, and thinking that she was going to be more of a vampy Alex type than she turned out to be.
I liked the newer ones only because those are the more recent ones I saw. However, looking at some of the old ones, they are really good.
I loved Alli’s promo for season 9.
And I loved Holly J’s for season 7.
Oh I also loved the promo for season 5 with the pregnancy test.
Now Spinner and Johnny are in Soundspeed haha.
I really liked Alli’s season 8 promo. They made it seem like she would be this sassy, out of control girl who stands up to Holly J. Sad to see that it wasn’t really the case, though. :(
well she almost got Holly J to switch schools “I HATE HOLLY J, I HAT HOLLY J.”
Yeah, but that was out of revenge against her. The promo made it seem like Alli was one of those girls who didn’t care about anyone except herself, lol.
Love this one. This was such a good season of degrassi. My favorite still remains season 5.

Thank you, Roberto. People, pleeeassse stop asking when the promos will be posted…it’s just repetitive and annoying. Obviously the people who have seen it on tv don’t have the capability to record and upload it. When the promo has been posted, YOU WILL KNOW IT’S BEEN POSTED. You don’t have to keep asking and asking because it will happen eventually. It’s really not the end of the world if you don’t see it right now, or in the next 5 minutes, trust me.

Wow, Alli looks really pretty and you can tell how much she’s grown since season 8. I’m excited to see her, Clare, and the others grow just like the cast from season 1 of Degrassi grew. This season is gonna be epic!

I think that Drew might be that new bad boy/player type that we all were hoping Declan was going to be. We haven’t really had one of those since Craig and his “I can’t decide which one I want so I’ll just date both of them” days. Declan was a disappointment because he settled down with Holly J too soon. It’s hard to have sympathy for Alli when she gets hurt because she throws herself at guys so much. Maybe if she chilled out a bit they would come to her because, let’s face it she’s GORGEOUS. So if she wasn’t so pushy guys would be all over her!

Rock and Roll High School used to be my absolute favorite app.
season seven had the best promos ever. and in my opinion it was the best season. after that i havent really enjoyed the show. but thats probably because i stared watching in 7th grade when season 3 came out and i feltlike i grew up with the characters
