12 Days Of Degrassi: Favorite Couple

My favorite couple ever? Sellie. When they were together, they were a wonderful example of stability. Most importantly, they kept each other out of trouble. I loved how they clicked in “Take On Me,” and when it was over, there was no get-back-together drama….unless you count that mini Don’t You Forget About Me.
So who was your favorite couple? There are so freakin’ many I completely lost count.

Ew, Sean and Emma were the best couple. Ellie and Craig fit together so well. Even though both relationships were incredibly unstable.

I’ll do it some day but not part of the 12 Days of Degrassi….I’d wanna do a full breakdown of every couple ever and it’s gonna take forever to get all that stuff together! :-p
SEMMA (Sean+Emma) KLARE (KC+Clare) CRANNY (Craig+Manny) PARCY (Peter+Darcy) & JOLLI (Johnny+Alli) they were the best!
Ther is so much wrong with this. JOLLI? He sent naked pictures of her to his friends. He also lied to her about being a virgin and put her at risk of an STD. Also, Craig/Manny was horrible from the beginning. He lied. She got hurt. He lied. She got hurt. He lied. She got hurt. And he lied. She got hurt. Nothing changed over 6 seasons. KLARE would be okay, but they were forced into a relationship before we even got to know the individuals.
KLARE is the lamest most stagnant couple ever besides Danny&Leia, NOTHING EVER HAPPENS WITH THEM. they are a waste of time&they are so childish…
its all about Manny&Jay in my opinion. but Sean and Emma are the Degrassi powercouple.they will forever be mr.&mrs. highschool (in the words of declan )
By the way, I think that Sparcy is one of the most underrated couples. It was actually a moment of depth and personal growth-Christianity allowing Spinner to find redemption. Sellie is great. I can’t help but love Semma, for it is sort of THE Degrassi couple. JT/Liberty was not that great when it was actually going on, but I liked both the prelude (season 1 cuteness) and the aftermath. I like Spaige, even though they weren’t great togethor, because I first watched Degrassi when they were togethor. I think Peter/Darcy is very depressing. Namely, I found their relationship in Spring Awakening legitimately heartbreaking. After all Darcy went through, she has meaningless sex. It was dissappointing, and not exactly Peters high point. Peter/Emma could have been worse, but it wasn’t very good either. Craig + anyone is awful. Manny and Jay, though completely contrived, is kind of adorable. I sort of liked the Jimmy/Ellie vibes that were going on for a few episodes, but Jimmy/Ashley was a crime. (except in season 1 when they almost had sex–it was really cute when they were playing with the condoms–Though that may make me sound creepy) That’s all I can really think of in terms of notable couples. There were a lot of completely forgettable ones that aren’t even worth mentioning, though. Actually, the worse couple ever was probably Terri/Rick. It wasn’t just bad chemistry-wise…
A non-couple that really amused me was Holly J/Toby. It was comical. Also, all Damien relationships were inherently garbage.
One last thing, I feel that I might like Holly J./Declan, but I still think we should get to know characters before they couple up. It was better this season than last, but Declan still is something of an image (rich boy, snob, player, somehow smeet, charming) than a character.
Sean & Emma will always be awesome. ALWAYS. And I’m currently watching Season 7, and the more I see them together the more I love Peter & Darcy. I loved Paige & Alex when they were first together as well… before Don’t You Want Me happened.
Parcy for sure. I love that couple. I hated how they moved straight into Pia as soon as Darcy went to Kenya. Pia sucked.
Parcy really is one of the most underrated couples ever. And I agree about Pia, I hated how they were thrown together minutes after Darcy left b/c of convenience.

I love these posts. I just went through all of them. I agreed with a lot of what you’ve said–and we’re fellow Crellie fans! Do you like Cranny, too? Love the Manny post…I’ve loved every single one of her hair styles. The season 5 one isn’t my favorite, but it’s not too bad.
And SELLIE <3. Very underrated couple indeed!
I personally could not stand Sellie! Probably because I am a die hard Semma Fan. But my favorite coulple of all time would have to be Spaige. I really loved them together. Although I like Spinner with anybody. I use to really dislike Spinner and Darcy but I like them more and more now that the relationship is over. Oh well. Just my two cents.
I think Alli and Johnny were the best couple. But, thats just my opinion.
Craig/Manny and Sean/Emma
I loved Darcy and Spinner so much! She brought out the good in him we know he had, and she was there for him while his friends were not.
I really like Jay/Manny too, and I love Declan/Holly J. I hope we get to know Declan a little more!
I absolutely HATED Mia and Peter! Any storyline with them was awful for me!
One of my favorites is actually Spinner/Jane. I like their build-up up until season 9…. when Jane became completely OOC -__-

ok well i totally hate Parcy but maybe thats just because i love Peter and can’t stand to see him with Darcy, who always seems to blame him. I love Semma… it would be a really cool/depressing episode if they had a plot that sean died in war and sent emma down a bad path
Sean and Ellie? I am very suprised of that coming from you. My favorite was J. Brity ( J.T. And Liberty) before they got pregnant up until they got back together in turned out.
Sellie is one of my favorites too, but my all-time would have to be marco/dylan.
Definitely Craig and Ellie, even though they’re never officially a couple. It seems like every other couple on the show was so rushed, and they were all so young. Crellie developed in the later seasons, which gave a little bit more reality and maturity.
Plus they’re the most attractive people on the show. xP
