Anyone that’s been following Degrassi knows there’s only 3 ways you could EVER be on Degrassi… 1) Be a Canadian citizen and have audition material, 2) win an auction where they’re offering a trip to the Degrassi set, or 3) Win a “Be On Degrassi” contest.
Well now The-N has your chance to win a walk-on role on Degrassi!!

THERE ARE 2 WAYS TO ENTER:
Method 1: Text one of the following keywords to the short code 66333 during the Sweepstakes Period to be entered into the Sweepstakes and opt-in for weekly messages from The N’s mobile club: STAR or DRAMA or DREAM or FAME or MUSIC or PLAY or PART or SUN or WALK. Normal texting fees and usage charges imposed by your wireless service will apply. All Entries sent via text messaging must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. ET on 8/17/09.
Method 2: Submit an entry via postcard with your complete name, address (including zip code), date of birth and daytime and evening phone number via regular mail to:

You have to be between the ages of 14 and 24 in order to enter, and you also have to live in the U.S….I’m so annoyed because I’m 25! Grrrr. Anyway, if you’re an American Degrassi fan I highly suggest entering because it’s really easy. Click here to see The-Mary’s official post about the contest. Since they’re filming now I’m assuming when you go you’ll be on the show during the later part of Season 9, so you won’t get to see the episode you’re in until sometime in 2010.

I feel your pain on the age thing!!
You don’t have to be a Canadian to win this contest though. Since The-N is doing it, the winner has to live in the U.S.

man thats not fair i always want to be on degrassi i know everyone on the show i watch it everyday and iam only 11 years old is there going to be a contest were 11 year olds can be in it because in 7 months and 15 days iam 12 can i be 11 please i really want to be on the show like how debby is on suite life on deck iam going to be just like her i want to meet all of you i pray i cry just to be on that show

my name is becca and i entered the contest even though i am only 13 1/2 i think that you should change the rules???
i have only 5 months to go before i turn 14, but i really want to be on the show so do you think if a 13 year old won woud you over look it and still let them be on or would you do the contest all over again??
anyways you guys say that the n is t.v for teens so isnt being 13 a teenage year??

Hi! Unfortunately I have no control over the rules…I just posted a link to the contest. :-/ Who knows why in the world they chose that age limit. If they chose someone who was too young or too old, they’d just end up picking someone else.

Hello my name is latasha and i always look at degrassi i always know when its about to come on. So of course i put my name down to enter the sweepstakes but i hope they add me even dough im one age younger to enter yes im 13. But i been a fan of degrassi every sence it started to come out I guess because it has so much to do with just regular life i guess and i look up to thier lifestyle a little bit and i also learn from any of their mistakes that I think can happen in real life but anyway i hope people can my face on the cast of degrassi.

I sent my text in during the summer. I am 16 going on 17 PERFECT AGE lol i took acting in high school but I rather do the more serious stuff like on this show this life isn’t cuttin it for me I WOULD LOVE TO BE ON DEGRASSI AND MEET ALL THE CAST MEMBERS I LOVE THE SHOW!
I would sacrifice everything & move to Canada. I do live in the United States but I will do anythingggggg. It would make my dreams come true, seriously.
How are we supposed to know if we won? Do we get a text back or something? lol..
