The Exec has posted more info via twitter about how the broadcast schedule will probably play out (mostly in Canada):

It looks like (but nothing is sure) CTV might start airing Season 9 the third week of September maybe, two eps per week (Sundays 7 – 8 ET).
And usually The N starts the first Friday in October, not sure if that’s happening this year–but in any event one ep per week only!

If CTV starts Degrassi (x2) the third week of September and The-N waits until October this will work out quite nicely. There will be no overlap of the first six episodes, creating no confusion for people looking for those episodes.
