Degrassi Exec. Producer Stephen Stohn posted on his myspace blog that they will be releasing another Degrassi Soundtrack album:

Yes it’s true… a Degrassi soundtrack album will be released in early August in Canada and the United States and other countries around the world!!! It will feature some of the great music from Season 7…

For the most part I really enjoy the music they choose for the show.  The only downside is that I’m sure that like the first soundtrack album, they won’t include character-performed songs as well.  I was quite disappointed that they didn’t include songs like “Mr. Nice Guy”, “What I Know” and more on the first album…that would’ve made the product more successful for sure.

I think a really cool project would be to actually create the songs on the album Craig released in Season 7, and sell the album at their degrassi.tv online store.  Just in case you didn’t know, here’s a list of the tracks on the album Craig released in the episode “It’s Tricky:”
